Hi to everyone,
need Help with my BA (MDA III T-Mobile with PPC 2003), just got one from Ebay and realized that it wont accept any memorycards, MMC card fit in are not recognized by the system and when I tried to put SC cards they wont even fit in the slot, half only then there is a barriere inside somehow, if I turn them upside down (with the connectors upside) they fit but dont hold, very strange, hope someone could help me with an advice what to do. BTW the seller said everything worked fine with him , but Im not sure and he also dont want to take the BA back.
thanks in advance - any advices are appreciated.
hi, BA uses SD cards not SC or MMC, SD card is exactly the same size as MMC card so if ur BA can fit in MMC, it should work with SD.. If you fit an SD card in and still loose, i think the connecters inside is scrapped, need to adjust abit after torx-6-ing it.. LOLx
my simcard and memory card tray looks brocken and i need to replace it ,
i can't found it anywhere , here in my town there is not , and on the net also i can't find it

Hello!,
So I am having issues with my sim holder...
But besides that, It made me check my sim port or holder... To which I found that I don't know what are the stuff I can see there... Do you guys have the same??
Mine has:
An OFF word, and something pointing to a red button... what does it does?? :S
A paper thingy which I am not sure if it should be there or not, but I don't want to touch it.
The tray to put the sim card in.

Ok it is normal... it is my IMEI information, the paper thingy... it is staten in the manual
Still the red button is...??
The RESET button!!!...
DARN! I must learn to read the manual....
If some one is wondering, you may find the manual here: http://www-support-downloads.sonymobile.com/d5503/userguide_EN_D5503_3_Android4.4.pdf
So, after reading through all the issues some of us have had on these cards..... I was feeling pretty darn good about myself, as I had none.... Well, I have since swapped to a new phone. I now have 2 micro sd cards that can not be reformatted in anyway shape or form.... I have tried (I think), just about all tricks and software. The big question that I'm unsure if anyone has asked is, does anyone think these can be locked by the Kitkat upgrade some of us did? It just strikes me a little odd that, nothing I do will allow me to clean these cards. I have a new card in, and I'm able to read and write like normal. But I'm sure there's something I'm missing. Thanks for any insight
Guys I was trying to do an update on my pumpkin 5.1 as suggested by the Manufacturer. I inserted my SD Card in the GPS slot SD Card and the card would not come out. I tried to get it out with a pair of tweezers but instead the SD cards went inside and the slot is empty.
Then I tried another SD card and it did not read it and it happened the same thing it stuck inside. What I noticed it went to the left side of the unit. I'm positive that I was inserting both SD Cards correctly. Do you guys think I would need to open the head unit to take them out or any of yo have any other ideas? Do you happen to know how difficult is to open this head unit?
Not sure why you bothered posting here... obviously you need to take the thing apart. Go do that.

There is a reason why this is called forum to get help and suggestions. If you have nothing positive to add please stay away. Thank you.

To answer your question, no it is not hard to open it up. There are a few screws on top and on the sides. If you inserted them correctly they would have not fallen in or got stuck, there could be a possiblility that the slot was not correctly lined up with the opening so it could have been pushed next to it. The slit is closed on the other end, at least all that I have seen. There are 2 I have seen push button type and one that leaves a portion of the SD Card outside of the device.

When there is so obviously nothing anyone can tell you besides OPEN THE THING UP, you are wasting YOUR time and OUR time by posting a useless request for help that cannot be given.
Just make sure to take pictures of the ribbon cables before you disconnect them. The smaller of the 2 can be connected to two different places and if you connect it to the wrong one everything will work except the SD cards. This is experience speaking.
