Changing multitasking

OK well yeah I don't know where else to put this but yeah.... my apps no matter which rom won't stay open. I know my phone has more ram even with its operating system than any iPhone but is there any way the developers can make the multitasking like that of an iPhone where it restricts the app doing anything when you leave it so that it stays open.

Nah cm7, I'm kind of semibricked so only android 4.01 Tom's work for me and I was using an old version of virtuous Inquisition, I'm just waiting for the devs to finish the tool to fix my phone

Aokp build 40 or CM9-20120628 nightly

Hey guys,
I am looking specific for one of these 2 roms for gsm gnex. I cannot find them, so does anyone have a link?
Thanks in advanced!
(It is because I want to use http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1741448 , or will that work with milestone 6 too? On kettle bean roms it doesn't work..)

Why do you want build 40 btw? Milestone 6 is newer and had less bugs and more stable

It depends on the user. But the most mods I've found were in xenondHD, paranoidandroid and aokp

I've tried almost every ToroPlus rom and always go back to CNA 3.8.0
While roms such as Eclipse, Black Bean, Cm10, Paranoid Android, etc possess cool features and good performance, CNA seems to be the only one to put everything together.

I like sourcery based off of aosp and there is plenty of customizations for you to choose from. You can change everything you want about it and it doesn't bog down the performance. I use trinity kernel with it or ada kernel.

Try paranoid 2.53 I'm using it and he's very fast and stable
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using xda premium
Thank u all... now am using xenon hd very good thanks for the update
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using xda app-developers app
For customization, NO DOUBT, Sourcery is the most customizable FROM THE ROM. This meaning minimal additional downloads/flashes, most customizations are available in the ROM.
That being said, I had kept going back to XenonHD, due to reliability. I have recently switched over to BAMF Paradigm, and am equally impressed by the reliability and performance.

Faux Sound, the control app that works with Faux123's kernel is great, and cheaper I think than the above app. I also really like Faux123's kernel.
Sent from an N4 blessed with AOKP and sanctified by Faux123!
