I have a problem, it hangs on the homescreen when i installed merruk kernel 2.0? any solutions to my problem? its my first time to encounter this
Reflash to stock ROM using odin and make sure you follow the steps correctly.Check doky73 topic in android development and refer post 2 for flashing stock ROM..
To get bug free installation of merruk kernel , you need to flash it on stock kernel ..flashing it on any custom kernel causes boot loops

Hello,
My phone is currently on rooted stock GB rom for BL7 defy+.
I came to know of 4.5.2_DHT-22 kernel helps in fixing the battery of defy+.
Now please help me with:
1. How should I flash 4.5.2_DHT-22 kernel?
2. Should this be flashed on top of rooted GB kernel for BL7 defy+?
3. After flashing 4.5.2_DHT-22 kernel, can I flash CM9 quarx build for ICS?
Please help!

flashing from recovery will not install the kernel ever. You have to flash the kernel from pc, then rom from recovery.
if using a kernel NOT given by default with the ROM it will likely need repacking and you would additionally have to flash the appropriate modules
Use this:http://www.xda-developers.com/android/bricked-installer-makes-one-x-kernel-flashing-simple/
and/or visit the thread called Kernels repacked for arhd

Hi all,
The Fix can be found in this superb thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2118921
I'm trying to use SnowOokami's method.
I flashed back to Extended stock Sony kernel 17 and it's charging again but not booting past the sony kernel logo. Recovery changed from TWPR to CWM. Alas, I don't have a recent backup!
Could someone help me with finding the right kernel for the PAC rom version 21.2? It should FXP kernel but their website doesn't show Nozomi kernels. Maybe PAC Rom or CM Rom? No clue.. I can't find the 21.1 rom thread anymore so I'm looking for the right version. I use TWPR.
Does the latest PAC rom fix this issue or does it occur with any kernel?
-Edit: -Mark for deletion: I flashed another ROM
First..
I have GTN5100 stock rom and kernel but rooted
i have to flash the kernel first or the custom rom (cm11) first ?
thanks..........
