Where to buy a reliable OEM 1930 mAH orginal Battery?

I am looking for a replacement/backup battery. Where would i find an original battery for the atrix, or what is the best alternative.
It also must be standard size. Thank you.

Oh, dear god, DO NOT buy those ****ty ebay batteries. If a battery isn't at least $30, it will be complete crap. I recently bought one of these deals on ebay for two batteries and a standalone battery charger for $25 and the batteries don't last more than ONE TO TWO HOURS. I'm okay with that, though, because the only thing I really wanted was the standalone charger and those aren't sold without batteries.
If you need spare, long lasting batteries, buy a Mugen Power. Mugen's are, without a doubt, the best aftermarket battery and will last just as long as your OEM Motorola, if not a little longer. Don't skimp on battery costs because you get what you pay for and there's a reason why those no-name ebay batteries are cheaper than dirt. (Hint: it's because they're worthless.)

I always buy the standalone chargers, though, so that way I never end up charging my phone via USB cable; instead I just swap batteries.

Just contact Motorola support, they should send you one free because your phone is still under warranty.

I actually have, sitting on my desk right now, one of these batteries. It's a legitimate, OEM BH6X, just like the battery that comes with the Atrix. For the Droid X, it's an extended battery, needing a new battery cover. Blame whoever wrote the listing for putting the wrong info there.
Says right on the battery 1880 mAh minimum, 1930 mAh typical.
I actually haven't been able to track down an OEM standalone battery charger though, so I'm using an Amzer one which is very basic and very cheap feeling but gets the job done.

this, when i get them and after about of week of using both of them i will tell you mine experience with them compared to the original battery.

I have (3) Motorola OEM BH6X batteries (1 of them being the 1 that came with the device) and they all state 1880 mAh
and
i have (3) Motorola OEM BH5X batteries that state 1500 mAh on these.
What model # are these "1930"(s) you speak of?

If you have 3 BH6X, you'd see right next to where they state 1880 mAh it says 1880 is the minimum, and 1930 mAh is typical.

Guys all this battery is a oem Droid x extended battery just go to Verizon for a spare or w.e

can you confirm whether or not the prodicell one fits normally in the atrix with the battery door? Is it better than stock?

It fits normally, as far as it being "better" I haven't noticed any differences in performance. Definitely comparable to the OEM one. I'd definitely recommend it.

Don't understand the hate for ebay batteries. I've had good luck with mine.
And the external charger it comes with is almost worth the $12 anyway.

I had bought one battery.it went bad in one week and it was just swollen so i threw it off.
very rarely , we get genuine stuff.

[Q] Best aftermarket BATTERY?

There is a company called Anker that makes high quality - high capacity aftermarket batteries for phones, however, I don't think they have one for ours yet.
I'm a little gun shy to buy aftermarket batteries again...
My experience with Anker Batteries:
I had one for my MT4GS and although it did last much longer, I kid you not it does something really weird to the phone. Call me crazy, but I had random people confirm this with their very own eyes. If you've experienced this too, you know exactly what I'm talking about.
1. Like I said, I kid you not, when I put in the higher capacity battery, it made the screens color look more washed out and blurry. Crazy, crazy I know, but it's darn true. Has anyone else experienced this?
2. For whatever reason, the phone would freeze often as well, whereas before with the OEM battery, everything was fine. I had to pull the battery almost 2 times a day to restart it from a freeze.

I was looking for an extended battery for this phone as well but when I searched for the Anker brand as I have it for another device, they all said not compatible with the AT&T or T-Mobile version.

The batteries for the international version are a different size than ours so no, they won't work.

also the other batteries might not come with the NFC
if you don't mind losing the NFC feature on the phone, then you can use the 2000 mAh original batteries from samsung

personally i prefer this over having it at the back cover like on the Nexus S
this means i can chance the phone skin any time i want without worrying about losing NFC
i saw many nice back covers for the Nexus S but couldn't change it as they do not include the NFC antennae on the aftermarket back covers for the Nexus S

No way! you 100% sure about this? I was planning to buy an extra battery but now I'm hesitate to buy. How do I know which battery has NFC and which battery don't? I thought on the galaxy S2 they integrated onto the phone.

just wait for a new version of the 2000 mAh with NFC
the last one i saw on the samsung website did not have NFC build in

Would the 150 mAH additional warrant the large price? (probably $50+)

Tmobile Galaxy S2 has the same battery as what...?
I'm looking to get a spare battery and external charger for my S2. Looking for anker or chichitec, what other device has the same compatibility as ours. Which ones will fit?

You may have a hard time finding cheap batteries for this phone because the NFC antenna is built into the battery. If you do find one, there's a chance your NFC will suffer because of it. If you don't use NFC, that may not be a problem. I on the other hand, use it daily.

The Samsung Infuse has the same battery.

Has anybody here bought a quality battery from ebay? there are batteries ranging from 10 dollars to 40 dollars and I'm just wondering if any of them are good? i don't want such an expensive extra battery but i also don't want a cheap battery that will mess up my phone.. speaking of which, can a bad battery mess up a phone's internal system? Thanks for the responses.

thanks allgamer for the response. the thing is i can't afford the $40. should i just wait till a quality replacement battery comes to market? i used to have an htc pro and i bought cheap batteries on ebay for it that came in handy and worked well but my phone eventually died out (screen does not turn on all the time but it might be a wiring problem and not a battery problem). i was hoping there was a similar economically viable option for the galaxy s 2.

i don't really need NFC with the extra set of batteries. NFC's potential hasn't been fully realized yet and i don't have much use of it as of now.
one question though.. if i buy those cheap batteries on ebay, will it destroy my phone because of incompatibility issues?

Anyway I'll have to assume that the batteries I posted are an analog to what you posted. That means that they wont have NFC capability. This may or may not be a big deal depending on what you want to use the phone for. Reading the comments it also seems like the batteries drain faster than the stock battery, but considering you get 2 + a charger this could still be a decent deal for $15

Lots of El Cheapo replacement batteries (shipped from HK) are already available at eBay. I still use HK-shipped backup batteries for my Captivate. They might not last as long as the originals, but they can get a few hours of juice when if your main runs out. They also take a "few" days to be delivered.
Edit: If the NFC component of the SIII is built-in in the battery... I doubt that these El Cheapo aftermarket will have NFC.

If anything, I would get something like this: link. But I'm going to wait until I have my S3, just in case the North American version requires a different battery. Which it shouldn't, but I'm a little paranoid.

Is the NFC always built into the battery. I tried to find out if that is the way it is on the Galaxy Nexus.....they both use the same NFC chip.

NFC is built into the battery on at least the Galaxy Nexus and Skyrocket and Hercules, probably many others as well.
Most of the cheaper battery makers will advertise a higher MAH value than the battery is actually capable of.
The last 1800 MAH battery I bought off ebay (similar to some cheapy amazon) lasted only ~70% as long as my OEM 1800 MAH battery.

I ordered these too. I had them for my s2 and they worked well. Good enough for a spare to carry around.

The 3rd party batteries for SGS3 thread is there

NFC is not as important to me right now but I imagine in the next year or so it will be something I cannot live without. Well, once I program some and learn tasker
That said... $20 for the Hyperion regular batteries and charger is a no-brainer. If nothing else, just to have backups. Still wishing for NFC even if they are a little more money.

I've had hyperion batteries for my Droid Charge, and they work quite well, but they seem to lose their ability to hold a charge faster than stock batteries. I've had them for about a year now and they started losing their charge around 7-8 months in.

My issue would be even though I mostly charge batteries externally can it be charged in the phone without an error?

Batteries is one of those things I almost never get aftermarket ones for unless from a really reputable company, I've seen too many battery implosion/explosions due to bad QC. Great way to ruin a phone/device.

I agree with this. I am hoping that the OEM ones are available by the time I get my phone. Once reputable companies have alternatives that have numerous favorable reviews (especially NFC ones) I'll certainly consider them but for now I'm not going to take the risk.

i bought 2 for the price of one plus came with a battery dock charger all for $20 delivered i thought i might aswell give it a go as cheap ass.But a day before receiving it i realised we had NFC in our battery which i didnt know and the batteries that i bought dont have NFC.
Can someone explain what nfc if used for and what will happen if use a battery without nfc?

How about you start by telling us where you go these batteries? As for NFC, it stands for Near Field Communications. It can be used in a way to pay for items, or bumping phones together to share information, such as pictures, contacts, etc. I am not a fan of it, I always have it turned off in my phone settings.

I bought a 2400mAh battery for my S2 for 5 bucks, yes, FIVE bucks. I was like well hey its cheap enough i wont care if it sucks. Well i got it, and after about 2 full charging cycles, it latest 28 freaking hours with 5 hours screen on time. I was like well 5 bucks was worth it!
So i might just get these as well

It does say on the sticker under the battery 2100mah so just wondering if running a 3200mah would be detrimental? or is it one of those things manufacturers do and have very large tolerances just to be on the safe side so as not have flaming s3 videos on youtube.

What, where did you hear that? The only thing I have seen people have to worry about with cheap batteries is how much of a charge they hold and how well they actually work. I have seen batteries malfunction due to ****ty car chargers before though but never just a battery fail while in a phone minus ghost stories from trolls on the internet.

mAh has nothing to do with the amount of current or voltage so I don't know what you mean by manufacturers having large tolerances?? And it wouldn't be detrimental, it would add to your battery life. (as long as the mAh claims are accurate)

hey i just made some fast research on the seller of the item
i cant link the url apparently because i jus made the account but go ahead and check the ebay sellers' (utigertech) feedback. They are not good.
in short, this battery is fake and some user feedback states that it does not last even longer than the stock 2100mah samsung oem battery
so dont be fooled. If its too good to be true then its probably too good to be true

Testing of MPJ 3200mah Battery for S3
I have purchased one of the MPJ 3200 mah batteries for the Galaxy S3. I have bench tested the battery over 7 days with multiple charges and discharges.
The results are that the battery is approximately 2000 mah it does not even come close to 3200 mah. The sellor is being misleading on the mah and you are better off buying a standard battery as it has 2100 mah and NFC.
I will try and test a few more batteries in the next couple of weeks..

I'm amazed that so many people get sucked in by these fake batteries. There is no battery technology out there that lets you increase the capacity without increasing the size.

My battery is starting to be a bit rubbish, so I am looking at getting a new, higher powered one.

I get that, totally, and I have been looking at batteries, not their prices, if u know what I mean.
Jut wondering if anyone has had any dealings with these batteries.
Also, I know there is a accessories sections, but this was a question, so I asked it in the Q&A section.

I have only ever used Anchor battery and found them faultless .
Their was a post in Accessories at one time .

Anchor or Anker? I also use Anker, just had a problem with my set of year old ones starting to swell -they replaced them both without quibble.

I looked on their site and only found a 2200mAh battery, the bigger ones are double sized with the retrofit back plate.
Stock battery is only 2100mAh, so the Anker one isn't that much better =/

If the battery fits inside the standard back plate then it is the same capacity (or even less) as the standard battery, it's physically impossible for it to be any greater. Any advert saying a higher capacity for the same size is lying, so avoid.
Main point about the Anker is having two batteries, so you charge outside the phone and always have a fully charged spare to hand.

I'm not going to question ur knowledge about this, but how can u have different mAh "AA" batteries, that are all the same size in that case??
I don't want to have to carry around a second battery with me all the time, this is why I was looking at different bigger capacity batteries =/

You can buy AA batteries in many different forms, alkaline, NiCad, Li-ion etc. Each has a different power density, with Li-ion being the highest. Standard S3 batteries are already the highest density so can't be bettered, if it were that easy then Samsung would have already done it.
The only way to get more capacity is to increase the physical dimensions, don't take my word for it try Wikipedia.

S4's battery isn't much bigger, but capacity is much higher.
Personally I carry two slim zerolemons charged at 40% with me all the time.

me and wife have zerolemon 2300 in our gs3's, fit under original back door and they come with 180day warranty. only downside is no NFC. But to me its the Best 20 buck investment ive made as far as accessories lol.

I've found the zerolemon 2300mAh batteries on eBay, HERE and I have also done some web searches about them, they look pretty good and I haven't found any bad reviews. 200mAh bigger than stock, and tested to be that capacity too, so must be true. I'm thinking of going for these, will just have to get a US to UK plug adaptor to go with the charger, lol.

? No, you weren't at all rude -I wouldn't suggest anyone accept 'internet advise' without cross checking it against something else.
The batteries you've chosen have a modest claim for capacity so are probably genuine. Only drawbacks are the limited warranty and return postage, if ever required. The desktop battery charger I have looks identical, plugs into a standard micro usb charger so you might not need an adaptor.

Has anyone ever tried the momax battery ?

I've had very good experience with the ZeroLemon 2300 too.
Very good battery life with Carbon ROM.

My friend is also using the Zerolemon battery, I'm still doing fine with my stock battery.
