I use Continuous Input (Swype) a lot but sometimes it does not recognizes the words. In bada 2.0 I don't see any option to add words manually in the dictionary for future reference.
Is there any way by editing some files via STune to add manual words in the dictionary?
Thanks in advance.
You can add new words by scrolling at the end of the reference words I tried it right now and I get the options just scroll at the end of reference
By the way English swipe recognition is very good compared to Turkish support. Use it freely

hi
its a useful application the phone pad input
put how can i add custom words to it while i write sms.. i mean like adding to the dictionary it uses like you can add words in nokia
thanks
Is there anywhere where I can download this? Is this a free utility?
Kinda difficult to use keyboard all the time (one handed).
Thanks.
first of all, most applications do support word completion (go to Settings, Input, Word Comp.)
start typing something in word and it'll give u a list of choices
But you're talking about dictionary words only. I'm talking about T9 input, just like doing sms on regular cellphones, but in this case, on the touch screen.
Hi,
the latest version of the htc keyboard, found in several ROMs released in the last few weeks, seems to have lost the ability to add a new word to the T9 dictionary.
the little plus button that appeared next to the suggested words is no longer present.
does anyone know of a way to add wrods to its dictionary?
Thanks
I second that
It is possible to add words to the dictionary by switching to ABC mode while still using the Compact QWERTY layout and typing the word. When you hit "space" it will add the word to the dictionary so it will be there the next time you go to use it in XT9.
Hope this helps.
Hey guys, i installed swype and htc ime mod keyboards and i am excited with swype. But my main problem is the dictionary. i live in cyprus and i use english letters writing greek words (greeklish) so i have all my words stored in the dictionary and i don't want to save them all over again with swype. is there a way to export it and omprt it into swype ???? or tweak it in order to read the default htc dictionary instead of its own ????? that would be great even if upgrade the rom where a wipe is required....
thanks
come on guys someone must did this,,,,there are so many users of swype
Eginikamen 2 an evris lisi pm me pls
the only thing that i find great of swype (apart from all the other benefits) on this matter is that when you type the word the first time and press space it automatically being saved into its dictionary and now is possible to swype and type it...instead of typing it and choosing it from the options like htc ime
All of my other Droid devices are part of Verizon and have pre-defined user dictionaries for the auto-correct while typing. The A7 only pulls words that are in my Contacts. When checking the Dictionary in Settings it is empty, but allows me to add words separately (ooomph). Is there a downloadable dictionary I can import to help with my auto-correct?
I've rather enjoyed not fussing with many of the corrections that take place when I don't want then to, but I think it is time to look for some typing backup from the A7's on screen keyboard.
SwiftKey
Downloaded SwiftKey (free app of the day on Amazon) and it has a dictionary of words and a sweet interface for keyboard use. Highly recommended on the A7 and took care of my auto correct issue.
