The Dithered Dark Holo Background mod replaces the original background_holo_dark.png file in the framework-res.apk.
Stock vs Dithered: (levels were adjusted to highlight the difference)

The Black Dark Holo Background mod replaces the background_holo_dark.png to a all black (0,0,0) version of it. This is useful for those trying to maximize their battery life. A black background essentially turns off the pixels due to the way AMOLED works.
Files are attached to this post. Use CWR/TWRP to flash.

i made a VRTheme update.zip for the Dithered Holo Background so that you can flash it to every ROM without ever need to update it again. I send the link to Zabalba as i am not allowed to post external links. I am here since 2008 but never posted that much

This theme is based on Haxzamatic's excellent honeybread theme for CM7 with modifications by me.
First release for stock deodexed KF3 because that's what i use. It includes themed framework-res.apk, SystemUI.apk and Settings.apk. The theme includes CRT animation and Overscroll effect. Extended menu being worked on.
Releases for VR2.0 and Cognition roms are next. I have received permission from pulsar and DG to use their files for the theme. Thanks, guys.
Procedure
Usual procedure. Flash in cwm. Cache wipe is recommended.
Please note that it will overwrite your framework files, so if you have any doubt, ask before flashing. If you are on stock, you can flash with no problems.
Feedback is welcome. Since it being a first release, you many encounter issues. Post them here and i will try to sort it out.

I had nothing but fc's and a whole lot of mess when I tried. Even cleared cache and dalvik. The same happens for me with any of the gnex themes. What build are you on... did you just flash and it worked?

I had some problems too, even wiping cache and dalvik. FCs on Nova Launcher, System UI, you name it. Tried fixing permissions and a few other things, and ended up in a bootloop. I was reinstalling everything from scratch, so tried with Red-Sensation again, and it worked. And then I wake up and find out Build 33 dropped, so I just did the same thing all over, hah. But, hey, if you haven't already, it's a good time to update install everything.
This is a totally uneducated guess, but I wonder if it has anything to do with Apex Launcher and the gapps that are inverted. Some of them, like Google+, I've never installed or used, but the theme installed them.
I must be doing something wrong. Even after a clean install. Meh. Black infintium works fine but wish I knew how to mod the whites
U can always try INFINITUM rom, we have official themes for our rom. Currently blue and green are available but next week more will be available. For ex - orange, black ( its available, bit not polished by me . The black infinitum theme is by our team only), red, WHITE AND ICW CUBE(in dev).

Cool that's awesome and totally looking forward to it. I'm still a bit frustrated and confused as to why the gnex themes are working correctly for some folks and not for others. The black is a must for sgs but it'd be nice to change up the white from time to time.

Anarkia, I tried flashing this on your ROM and got bootloops! Phone started acting really weird as well, had to reflash the entire ROM to get it to work properly again.
aokp b33 v.ry1 multi dpi 160
for aokp b33 160dpi... you have to replace the phone.apk with the phone.apk from the aokp base file and install ... and look very nice

as I make my own theme after every ROM Samsung releases, I wanted to share this with you as I know some people find it useful.
Minimalistic, safe, clean and simple.
To apply this mod, just enter CWM recovery and flash the Boeffla-Mod zip file. Reboot, done.

I plan to evolve this quite similar to the Boeffla-Mod theme on the Galaxy S1 over the time. Features will be added step by step, but for now I just want to see if this is working as expected already.

Hi, thanks for reporting.
In my experience from my SGS1 Boeffla-Mods I know, it will take some days to reveal missing customized icons etc.
So, good to know it runs without flaws so far, will keep an eye on it over the next few days (anyway I am on holidays over the weekend).

Seems I found Checkrom is deodexed. So you cannot flash this mod onto it.

I am sorry, I never created the mod for XXBLFB as this firmeware is already very old. I started from BLG8 onwards only. If you flash the mod on your BLFB, you will end up in a boot loop.
I would really recommend you moving up to XXBLH1 if you want to use the mod. It is a very good running firmware, in my opinion much better than XXBLFB.

It takes a lot of work so I won't be making a blue one. Don't worry there will be no shortage of blue themes once the official version comes out. I prefer something different.
If nothing has changed then you haven't flashed it. You may need to mount the sdcard in recovery first. Check the log located in the universal flasher folder. If your signature is correct and you are using CM10 then it won't work (correctly) either.

introduction to my theme for touch wiz 4.3 on i9300 ONLY! don't try and flash this on any other version or model. This has a blacked out look and really has changed what Sammy made.
