I am having problems with all of the screenshots showing up in the XDA forums. I am talking about XDA Premium on my GS2.
Let's say someone posted a new ROM with screenshots of what it looks like. Normally, as you scroll down the posting, the images of the screenshots will pop up. That doesn't happen for me. I get a small box where the image usually goes, but there is nothing there. I am on my home wifi, so it's not a bad data connection. Any help would be great... Thanks a million!

Same thing happens to me once in a while. I don't know if its the app or the internet connection. Also it doesn't let me post a screenshot on a post as a reply.

Yes, I'm currently on CM9 alpha 4, but this has always been an issue even back to gingerbread ROMs. It's not a huge deal, just annoying when I am trying to see what something looks like on my phone. Once I get home, I'm flashing TDJ's beta 7. Who knows if that will fix the issue? I guess it's not just me that has this problem.... Thanks for the imput.

K, found what's wrong, be sure to uncheck force gpu rendering in your developer options
Sent with AOKP goodness
I agree about the force gpu rendering causing the screen shots to disappear. Actually I turned off forced gpu rendering due to Flipboard not being compatible and the side benefit was screen shots suddenly started appearing again

Doesn't work on my AOKP... I can do a tiny bit more before it freezes and FCs, but it has ended up freezing and FCing EVERY time, without fail are u clicking all of the filters to see how they look?
Yea, still crashes under CM9.
On mine runs everything great. After a week ( switching from Darkside 2.7 to aokp) i upload photos to instagram.

It was working for me on AOKP 603, since 6/03. Working on darkside UCLE2 7.1 now also. If you're having problems with Instagram on either of these ROMs then you should reflash. Just follow the directions. Curious to see if it's working on the t-mobile base now after the update.

Never had it crash on AOKP, actually. It used to crash on Darkside when I tried to view the contacts tab, but since the Instagram update before the last, it has worked fine.

hey guys I'm trying to find out if it's possible to run the t-mobile leaked s3 OS on our phones? I noticed that it also got ported to sprint and Verizon phones as well.
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I747 using xda app-developers app
we already had a port of it , it wasn't stable enough stuff didn't work right , just wait for it , proper functional one will be out in near future.
Personally I think it is stable enough to run. Ive been running it off and on since release. The only actual bad bug is stock browser crashes. If you use chrome it doesn't crash at all. And its launcher is flakey until you disable hw overlay.
Idk who has been having such problems with it but I use it as a dd.
You would have to talk to smartguy44 to get it or see if I can hook you up with his release.
I didn't make it so its just out of courtesy.

If you're disabling overlay, what is the point? Aren't you almost better off just running a touchwiz ROM or cm10?

You get the jb and tw benefits you dont have on cm10 or ics. Its not a whole lot but there is some stuff that is only on the tw jb.

I was fine with it too... used chrome to get over the browser bug and also there was one other bug that really 'bugged' me. The phone would lock up if I shut the screen off in landscape mode. Which is completely avoidable. And the missing LTE icon. Other than that its perfect. I still have the .zip file but I suggest waiting for smartguy to repost or provide it to you. Unless he's OK with it I don't mind sharing his work. Just don't forget to thank him

Just put build 5 on my S2, and I gotta say, its pretty amazing. Its a lot smoother, and has some more options. But mostly, there is a noticeable difference of smoothness and look. I was crashing once or twice a day with build 4 as well. So, I am happy. What are your thoughts? Any other Jelly Bean ROMs that are better?

Goomanager. I myself am in love with this release. Everything has been smooth as butter. Implemented the usual build.prop tweaks for graphical glitches. CPU settings are all stock ondemand/cfq, went for 20-21 hours yesterday with 3-3.5 hours screen on time and that was my first cycle!! Of course no RR or SoDs either. Can't wait to see what whitehawk has in store for this update!

I noticed it in Goo yesterday, haven't flashed it yet though I think I'm still going to wait for the updated SBean.
This is the first aokp rom that I have tried and I am very happy with it. Everything is very smooth and fast. The only problem that I have with it is the lock screen. When I hit the power button the screen comes on really bright for about a second then goes back to the normal brightness level that I have it at. I usually have have it on the lowest setting. It doesn't always happen but most of the time it does. Anyone know how to fix this?

What are you using for a radio? Sounds like something is sucking the life out of your battery or you're in an area with crap reception and your radio is draining your battery trying to get a good signal. I myself am using uvle1 for a radio. I've had nothing but bad experiences using uvlh1.

Build 5 is working great for me. No issues so far and been running it for over a day. Using it with custom Kernel and OC. I must admit that its very smooth. My battery seems very good, wasting about -6%/hr, with WIFI on the whole time and messing with the phone constantly.
If you need the link for the build and kernel the links are below:

Hey guys, I have a weird problem going on. My widgets are not updating at all. For example, I have a Beautiful Widgets clock, which the hours/minutes stay frozen at the boot time. Anyone have any ideas on how to fix this?
FYI, I upgraded to Illusion (4.1.2) yesterday, and I am using ktoonsez kernel. Also, i'm using Nova launcher if that is any help.
P.s. Since owning my GS3 I can't recall this happening (until tonight), but it happened on my Vibrant quite a bit... seems like the problem has come back to bite me in the butt.

So I am using slash 4.1.2 and it includes nova. I had the same exact problem, even after rebooting. So I went in to manage apps to try force closing nova, I didn't expect much but it worked. Haven't had the issue since.
Interesting. Its working so far. Thanks. I wonder why this would happen in the first ace though... And out of no where, too.

My phone phone has shut down twice today for not apparent reason.
Once I had it sitting on my desk and the second time it was in my pocket.
I saw a video that it might be the battery connectors but in my case I was not able to replicate it.
So what else could it be?

As stated by another user, occasional reboots are "normal" on 4.2.1 but twice a day is a bit ridiculous.
If I may suggest a substitute ROM in which I don't really experience any reboots, it is pretty much stock with tweaks, no AOKP, CM10, PA, eye candy, just a fast stable ROM.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1821673
Yeah I really wouldn't mind a soft reboot or even a reboot once in a while but I have had 3 shut-offs in the last 2 days it wasn't even a reboot, which makes me wonder if it's hardware rather than software.
Thanks for the suggestion but at this point I really don't want to flash a ROM, I will most likely end up coming back to stock at some point if I do.

Double check that your kernel settings are stock and you haven't done any tweaks that could cause kernel panic
