Help for Porting Rom - Xperia Play Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I'm looking to port the ICS Rom from the Xperia Arc as it's an Official build so it would be quite easy to port to our Play as they have similar specs. Does anyone have any tips/suggestions or tutorials on porting roms, Or anything I need to look out for while porting the rom?

use ROM Manager from the android market!

It would be probably compatible with 4.0+ or 4.2+ AOSP based ROMS so yes it could be ported.

i assume that youre not on the international firmware. Easiest thing would be to flash a sense bases rom to get signal back.
