get app rom toolbox- go to root browser- try deleting file(s) first-
if that doesnt do the job- remove permissions- read, write execute from game(s). then reboot- This is not a guaranteed fix- But it should work. hope it helps.
Use titanium backup to uninstall the APKs.

If you want to keep your apps download and run titanium backup. Do a full wipe and clear cache. Install your Rom and afterwards reload titanium backup and install your missing apps. I am running virus sense 4.2 and it runs great. You Shouldnt have any trouble.
Edit...
I do not use Rom manager because I prefer psfmod recovery.
Are you fully rooted with s off on the boot loader?
Before flashing any Rom make a nanroid just incase something goes wrong

I am considering flashing to virus Rom. I have a few questions first though.
I rooted with unrevoked, will I be fine?
When I flash will my apps be there if I saved them to the SD card?
Is Rom manager good to use?
Is there anything else I should know before I root.
Thanks in advance

So you are or are not rooted first you said you rooted with unrevoked then at last you ask if there is anything else you need to know before root. Moving on if you are rooted go to the market and download titanium backup use the batch option to save all your apps then after you flash new room use batch to restore all apps I'd you are not rooted you will lose your apps there are apps in the market like app monster that let you back up apps but you will lose your link to the market. Unrevoked will be fine that's whati used as long as its compatible with your phone if already rooted your good. Room manager is good if you use clockwork recovery. Its only compatible with clockwork. You should look up his to back up rsa keys very important if you want 4g. Always backup your phone before you do ANY Mods this will save you allot of heart ach. And last try not to offer money this can be bad In the end but up to you and I don't want any just want to help

As long as you do not flash a the wimax radio you should never worry about this. But you should back it up just incase.

Hey I deleted my stock apps and it prevented me from getting the 2.2 update. Is there anyway I can get that update without having to flash it back to stock rom?

Depends how you deleted it.

What did you use to delete them? SDX, Root Explorer? Which apps did you delete?
just use nubecoders Remove and Restore stock apps zip in the Dev section, its a simple flash to restore almost any bloatware... it doesnt include some things.. but all commonly removed apps are there and it takes a few seconds
Everyone says the kernel must support init.d for the boot animations to work, but I cannot find any information on what do I have to place in the init.d to force the kernel to load bootanimation or sanim instead of the fugly sprint animation.
rooted FF18 + .4.2 agat's kernel, I like my current setup just want to get rid of the sprint animation.
If anybody can lead me to the information it'll be much appreciated.
The new boot animation is placed in the system/media folder. Rename it to bootanimation.zip and reboot. So just download one you like and force it in to the media folder or use ROM tool box and it will put it in the system/media folder for you.

I have it there but the sprint keeps popping up i tried with bootanimation.zip and sanim.zip nothing happens ><

Just like this? If your still having problems use ROM toolbox lite.

Are the permissions set right? Look at g_ding84's screen shot.
Sent from my SPH-D710 using xda app-developers app
Yeah, wow that slipped my mind. Sorry about that. Match the permissions to your ROMs permissions.
Yes the permissions are set as in the picture, also, ROM Toolbox will download the file and supposedly install it but nothing happens, sprint animation still showing.
Make sure you set the install location to system/media. It may want to install data/local.
ohhh
Edit: Changed install location, still nada.
Maybe its because I only have stock FF18 and the only custom thing is I'm using agat's .4.2 ?
Let me know how it turns out
Sent from my SPH-D710 using XDA
Changed the install location, and the animation plays when I select "preview current" but when I reboot its back to sprint.
Hmm...your running agats kernel right?

You're rooted, correct? And have verified with, say, root checker?
Sent from my SPH-D710 using xda app-developers app
Yes I am rooted (sfhubs FF18 rooted) and yes I'm running .4.2 agat's kernel, the only things missing from the rom are most of the Sprint crap (widgets and such) and that's it, rooted stock.

It is the same as the leak. You could have just stayed...

I was stock rooted ICS before. Didn't see a diff was done.
To get root back can I flash the one from the repository with no data? Or is there a simpler solution

You could always flash a recovery then flash superuser and flash back to stock kernel.

(Sorry if I'm asking a repetitive question.)
Does the leak GB27 match the official GB27 that just came out?
I'm on FL24 stock + root. I don't want to use flash an unrooted FL24, download Kies, update to GB27, then root it.
Wondering if I can just use the One-Click method from: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2191954
so I can avoid doing all that work and still have the same result.
I'm only asking because I read that GB27 repartitions the storage (or something like that).
I did what you didn't want to do. Some people stated that they are the same but I don't know for sure. I'm having problems accessing the settings and I wanted root back so I just flashed the no data on top of all this. My settings is still messed up and crashes.

Have you figured out if you can use the same Odin Root?

Did you unroot it before updating? Did you just let Kies do it while rooted and had no problems.

True, but I don't think that'll fix my issue. I need to remove twrp, get stock recovery, and completely get rid of su and anything that vibes with it
