I recently bought a GSM Galaxy Nexus from Play store. Here are my questions :
- I heard about extended battery from samsung, how much it compare to the original one ?
- I'm going to buy SILICRYLIC Case from Incipio, can I use extended battery on that case ?

I made a thread about this:http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1658422
Still waiting for mine to arrive which should be soon.
14% capacity over the stock battery. Most cases that have flex will fit.

Is there any problem with NFC if I use case ?
No.

I see there are cases for GSM and LTE version, (I know LTE is a bit thicker than GSM)

Just got my sprint gnex today and I am wondering if anybody knows of the highest charge extended battery that doesn't involve replacing the back cover.
Also NFC support is a must.

Where?
If the Sprint battery is compatible with the Verizon battery then Verizon sells the 2100mAh for $25 at a store.

I don't have one either, but I think what's not compatible (without slight modification) is the Verizon back cover. I think the Verizon OEM battery would work fine on the Sprint device, otherwise.
Would be nice if Sprint launched with their own back cover and extended battery options.

The battery is a little larger than the 1850mah version that comes with the Sprint Galaxy Nexus. However, the back cover doesn't fit perfectly. You'll have to use a nail clipper or something similar to cut off the 2 small plastic nubs to fit the Sprint phone. There is a little bit of a flex on the cover where the nubs were cut, so unless you have a phone case, like a Cruzerlite case, I would not recommend using this battery/back for the Sprint version of the Galaxy Nexus. It's not major though, so it's possible to live with it if you're not really picky about the fit not being perfect.
The original back cover for the 1850mah battery will not fit with the 2100mah battery.

How do i tell if its for my GSM phone or a CDMA phone?
http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=sr_nr_s...:2407758011,k:galaxy+nexus+battery&sort=price
And also is a seperate back needed for a 2000mh battery compared to the stock 1750?
Amazon or eBay.

Look at the model number. Verizon is i515 or something and GSM is 9250 and if it says lte its Verizon. I got two 2050 mh batteries and a wall battery charger for around $25 on amazon. They fit like the stock battery.

I've been looking for a battery as well. I tried Amazon and found some good prices but I couldn't find one that supports NFC. I found a battery from Mugen that does but they're out of stock.

Verizon is i515 and the battery is blue and more "square". GSM is i9250 and the battery is black and more "rectangle". You do need the extended battery cover. Most legit Samsung batteries + covers are ~$35 on eBay. Get a legitimate one.
Does the Sprint 2100 mah OEM extended battery + cover fit the Verizon Nexus?
Thanks in advance

The battery does, the cover has different tabs. You can use your stock cover with the extended battery. It's a snug fit though.

Are you sure? I don't want to stuck with a battery I can't use...

False till proven.
Beamed from my Maguro.
The battery is the same but the cover is just a bit different.

So does the verizon stock cover work with the sprint extended battery like Mike is claiming?
Yes it does
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using xda premium
1) Battery from either networks will fit phone on either networks.
2) Cover from sprint needs to have a slight modification to one of the tabs to fit (i did this myself with a dremel). I've never tried the other way around because I don't have a Sprint Gnex
Hey guys! My town just got 4G and i was wondering what would be the best battery to get because i know that the drain on the phone is pretty fast with the lte connection. i already have the official Samsung extended battery.

I bought this from ebay, works very nice.
Genuine Samsung Google Galaxy Nexus GT I9250 2000mah Extended Battery Case + Cover
It keeps the phone to a very decent size and it also has the NFC built in.
I use it with MiNCO rom and I must say the battery life is amazing!
PS: This is for the GSM (GT-i9250) model, what is your model? I don't think it would work with the LTE model
The stock battery is just shot on my Galaxy Nexus and this one looks good how much time are you getting between charges, and does it make the phone bulky? Thanks in advance
Will that work with the Sprint version?
My Gnex is white... There is an extanded battery whith a white cover for it?

Hi guys.
Does anybody know a good case, that would fit the gsm version with extended OEM battery?
I have now the SGP Ultra hybrid, but it`s not a perfect fit. The sides are not in the right place. Maybe there`s a case that will fit perfectly.
Share your experience please.
Thanks :highfive:

Invalid link.
I've searched here, didn't find answer to my question .
So, i'm asking for personal experience. Maybe a Verizon case should fit, to a Gsm gnex with an extended battery?
I use an otter box from Verizon nexus for my gsm nexus with the extended battery. Fits perfectly with the 2000 mah battery.
