I work at Best Buy but don't know all that much about SD Cards. All I know is I want the biggest fastest one that Best Buy carries to put in my phone!

Looking at:
PNY Technologies - 32GB High Speed microSDHC Class 10 Memory Card
SKU: 3026197
and
Polaroid - 32GB microSDHC Class 10 Memory Card
SKU: 5559941
Cant decide which is better? If there is any difference at all.
Read some reviews. On paper they should be the same (32gb and class 10 each). I heard some bad things about PNY cards. Look the two up on amazon and read the reviews, that's probably your best bet.
Thanks! I will go check that out and see what I come up with. I was hoping to find a good deal at work since I get a discount, but Id rather have the right card than a cheap card!
Samsung 32GB sd cards can be found on ebay for a pretty decent price. There's a post down below this one about the Samsung cards.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1683785
Polaroid is just a name brand that is licensed to go on stuff because people are familiar with it. Not saying the card is bad but there could be several different suppliers providing those cards. If you work there then buy the cheaper one then use sdcard test apps to make sure the speed is good and if not return it. My card is a sandisk class 4, its faster than its rated speed and good enough for my needs.

Could you recommend a good app to test them?
Thank you!
Sdtools and sd card tester are two I used. Slightly different results between the two but both read higher than rated speed.

Update, most people on forum are saying model number is a brand new packaging where A is Android
http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/51b75XutX9L.jpg
Highly it is class 10, since it isn't the european packaging.
Reviewer also didn't actually buy the product just going off from the model number so I guess it's still a chance of being either right or wrong.

I bought a class-4 32 GB card a few months ago, and I had to buy another one soon. It was so slow, it would take a few minutes to copy 100 MB of data from the computer to the phone via USB. Not to mention that apps2sd would cause a lot of problems. I then bought a class 10 card and it's significantly better. Be careful not to waste money on a cheap SD card that you're going to throw away soon, like I did.

It's still better than the class 2 that came with my phone as far as speeds go. I bought this one to replace a 16 GB class 4 that I was using and I'm super happy with it. I don't care for the read/write speed to much as I do for the space, so to me, it's not worth spending the extra money to get a class 10.

Ah ok. I stand corrected. I just remember this question being asked a few times before and that was the reasoning.
I gave in and purchased one of these cards from "Buy.com" on the authorized re-seller list at Sandisk's website. Buy.com sold them for $107.95 when I bought mine. Compare that to the $219.99 suggested retail price and that's one hell of a deal. However, it looks like Buy.com recently upped the price to $145.50... Still a good price though. The 64gb card arrived in the mail today and after plugging it in and formatted the thing it works wonderfully. The fact that it is Class 6 doesn't seem to have any bearing on how the phone handles it.

What is that notification that shows the system values? Also is there only 38G or do you have roughly 20g on it?

Thanks for sending this along. I'm going to dive on one too.
Not sure how to delete this post. I accidentally posted twice when rewording my review of the card. So ignore this one I guess, thanks!
The card formats to 59.4gb. It displays 38gb free in the photo because I transferred ~21gb over from my old 32gb sdcard. As of this moment the card has 53gb of data on it (music and offline GPS maps). No noticeable slowdown of the Android OS far as I can tell. QuickPic takes a while to load up, however, I did change its cache settings two days ago so that might be the cause of it. PowerAMP had a few glitches as well when first dealing with the new ~8700 track music library but that seemed to mellow out once I upped the audio buffer to "Huge (+750ms)". That might have been unnecessary to do though since the "Auto" buffer doesn't have audio skip/glitch anymore when playing tracks and browsing the library at the same time. Could have just been system internals configuring caches and what not. Other than those two things it is a great card.

It's worked fine with bone stock rom and CM7.2 and MROM
Kinda wish there was a 128 gig card cause then I could have my whole music collection on board.
So excited to try this out. I wonder if the rom has anything to do with it...
Sandisk recently started selling 128 GB microSDXC cards. I wonder if they too are compatible with the Droid Incredible 2.

Just thought I would let everyone know that the hit or miss 32GB Patriot class 10 is back on sale with a MIR of 20 dollars making the total to 25+taxes. From the SOUND of it, they might have shaped back up and reduced failure rates on these cards.

I just bought and received a Samsung 32gb Class 10 SDHC card that tested at the correct speeds for $51.00 on amazon.
You can get burned really easily buying dirt cheap SD cards off of Ebay and Amazon. As the old saying goes, "If it sounds too good to be true; it normally is." There are tons of counterfeit and fake cards on those sites.
I hate to say it but the same Samsung card is selling for 35+tax+ship on frys right now til thursday.

Generally, Samsung cards are of very high quality. Not sure if you've ever used one but they are very reliable and are made to work. The class you pay for is the class you get.
There are other reputable card manufacturers of course, but with the widespread availability of them now, there is a much higher risk of a fake or being duped with a low class one.
As far as I know, rip off samsungs are rare if even in existence. I could be wrong.
As someone said Samsung makes good quality card, and this one is Class 10 so its speedier. I don't understand the shock/water resistent bit. Isn't flash memory shock resistent by nature?

I own this card and it is specifically rated for 1080p vid plaback and top transfer rates. You have to look beyond that someone stammped "Class 10" on thier card. If you don't believe me, buy a Wintech card and tell me how its treating you when your data is just gone one day and the card cannot be reformatted.
I payed $50 for this card and it is worth every penny.

Got my card in the mail today. What kind of speed test results do you get (using SD Tools)? I'm showing 5.1MB/s write and 8MB/s read. I also don't see any "card info" when in SD Tools. Was hoping I could see manufacturing information and a serial to prove this isn't a fake Samsung...
Real-world writing yields about 10MB/s write.
I always thought Micro SD cards were faster... then I remembered that just full-sized SD and CF are even remotely fast!

Be careful with this item!! Just read the reviews and it's apparently a fraud!
Fantastic find, I'd buy it if I didn't already have a 16 GB SD card...
Got my card today I am really happy that I bought this. It came unopened with it's original samsung packaging. Comparing with the one I bought from amazon... check the pics below.
Mistaken entry.
Ordered mine about 4/5 days ago and received it today. Although I had a 16GB (not from Samsung) and didn't use all of it up, I still went ahead and got this. Can't go wrong with it, glad I got it.
I got 10.22MB/s writing and 32.16 MB/s reading using the SD Card Tester app.
Transferring music over seems to be a lot slower than it was using my 2gb card though. Is there a preferred way of introducing a new sd card to the android operating system?
OK I'm in the hunt for a 32GB class 10 SD card. I have been reading a lot about one called Komputerbay. Seems as though it may be made by Samsung or for Samsung. All the reviews that I have found seem to be pretty consistent, however, these reviews are like any other review, you just read them. No response from people in real time. I want to direct my question to those that I can trust and have direct contact with in real time. Does anyone have any info on this product? Or have any suggestions, or recommendations? 16 or 32GB not really a concern. Main concern is speed class 6 or 10, who has the true tested speed? TIA for all who help.
EDIT
I have also found one called 3C Pro, any info here too? thanx
Komputerbay is nothing to do with Samsung.
It's a SD card adapter see here
You can see the speed test here for the class 10
Not a very smart idea to use a class 10 on the OG evo. Its meant to only be compatible with cards up to class 4.

either way, be careful. Make sure whoever you buy from has, literally, thousands of sales and at least 98% positive feedback.
