How set uninterrupted access to the Internet in cm7.2rc3?
Sent from my HTC Wildfire using XDA

if you are talking about the wifi sleep when screen is off then you can change the settings by going to menu > settings > wireless and networks > wifi settings > menu > advanced > wifi sleep policy. Change it to never.

I talking about mobile network was connected non-stop with internet. This option was in rempuzzlerom.

OK... I presume you are trying to download a large file. Another thing you can do is to set Sleep time to never and or 30 minutes. This will drain your battery. Make sure you have it plugged during your "download" period.
Hope it helps.

I need this option "enable always on-mobile" in cyanogenmod.

!! Confused !! Sorry i really dont know what your trying to achieve. Your data should be constant with the data setting enabled?? The always on setting in sense rom is in my opinion the equivalent to background sync in cm7!! This setting is found via settings/accounts and sync.

For Wifi, you can set your sleep policy under your advanced WiFi Settings (hit menu while in the settings). If you set it to never, it's supposed to keep your WiFi enabled all the time. I'm not entirely positive it works properly, but I haven't dug much into it...

Wifi sleep policy...

Why would my wifi all of a sudden go to sleep when my screen is off and switch to 3g instead? I didn't change any settings and i have it set to never go to sleep in spare parts. I'm using virtuous glite 1.0.3 but even with it set to never go to sleep it still does. Anything i can do to fix this? Right now I can force it to stay on by enabling wifi calling which keeps it connected but is there a way to keep it on without using wifi calling?
Thanks

If the settings you choose were to never put wifi to sleep and it's still going to sleep when you turn off the screen, then there is most likely a problem with the rom. Have you had this issue before while using the same rom?

If that doesn't work, you can always make Tasker fix it for you.

WiFi with unity

Good morning everyone! I flashed unity to my g2 lastnight and since then when my WiFi is on my mobile network shuts off. I can turn off WiFi but the mobile network still won't turn on. Is there some setting I haven't done right or has anyone else had this issue? Thanks in advance!

Did you set your apn correctly?
Sent from my HTC Vision using XDA App
Not sure what apn is. The network connection will stay up for an hour or so then it drops and you have to reboot to get it back.

Theres an app on the market called, "APN Manager" that will take keep your APN settings in check. Other wise...
Did you completely wipe the phone before you flashed it? If not, do a complete wipe and then flash it.

3g network help

How do I keep my 3g network always on? By this I mean sometimes when it goes off I have to turn off radio and turn it back on again in order for it to work. Also I could be on internet and then all of a sudden it won't connect. Again I have to restart connection. This as you can imagine can be very frustrating. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

do not know if this would help but try this. first make sure you go into settings and turn mobile network on. then download an app which link is in my signature. download it from market and install it on your phone..do not worry you do not need to be rooted. once you installed that top option where it says put data connection to sleep untick that.
let me know how it goes for you...
Thanks tried that but it doesn't seem to work. Was wondering if there was build prop settings or something like that?
