[Homescreen]*New WM6.5 homescreen by AlekSS* Update 9-7-09

Hello! Today i make the homescreen. I think you like it. Its working 100% with my ROMs.
This homescreen ONLY for WM6.5!!!
Now is version 2.
This homescreen will change yours bronzeres.dll, therefore make a backup copy!

Looks good.....but the last panel with wrench and screwdriver,all my icons are the same....white envelop with yellow insert.

it looks pretty good, but the larger icons look kinda pixelated, is it just your image here, or is it like that also in the phone?

jdogle, do you use wm6.5 ROM? I install it again 2 mins ago- installed sucsess.

Yes, I have your 6.5. I will try again, but just to make sure. Unlock phone and install , correct.

If you have time, I quess I need help. I unlocked the phone, reboot, and transfer your file to phone. Then when I try to install it give the message of unsucessful. Am I not doing it correctly?

Hmmm, my ROM is registry/application unlocked. I dont know why you cant install it :|

Icons are too big so image becomes blurred...otherwise nice...I´m keeping the htc sliding panel...

I like it.Nice job.But the last panel (settings) ,all six icons are the same;white envelop with yellow insert.I deleted then reinstalled.....same .Went back to titanium panels and everything fine.Went back to your homescreen,still no good. ........so i`m back to titanium panels.

Hiw do you root your Slide without Screen ?

My Slide just got a Touch Screen Fail message at boot. I am trying to root it so I can try to load a new ROM, to see it it might help.
I can boot phone normally, but I have no touch screen, so I cannot change to USB debug, nor use the phone for anything else.
I need to be able to root it from the Bootloader. Anybody has any suggestion how to remove the S-Off and be able to reflash phone ?
Is there a custom Esprimg file that can help ?

Well you CAN actually use the trackpad to navigate without the touchscreen. Bit difficult, but it can be done. What's the message you get exactly? Even a picture would help

How could you get that if you weren't rooted?
You should take it to T-Mobile and get it replaced.

Afaik, you most likely need the touch screen in order to root. Then again, I am a noob at this stuff. If the touch screen showed as a failure it may be a hardware problem. Other than that you can navigate just fine with the trackpad and select with it or with the keyboard to tick "USB Debugging".

Multifunctional lock in the lockscreen

For example I move the lock down to access the music, left to access Internet, right to unlock, exc. Is there any app or mod which allows me to do it on the nexus 4? I don't like stock lockscreen at all

If you have a custom ROM, it's probably in the settings->security->lock screen->slider targets
Not sure if there's an app for it.

Cyanogen mod, aokp..Pac..and other roms have it if you have root accses on your phone maybe you could extract only lockscreen app.. From any of those roms and replace in sistem app folder in root manager..or download widget locker or similar app from playstore

Both good ideas, i'll first try widget locker, then i'll try to replace lockscreen app, do you think it will work?

You cant just assume any rom will have this feature. PA doesnt have lockring targets.

I managed to do it using Widget locker, it's not as useful as i thought ehehe thanks anyway everyone!

Hello guys! Here a little update. I downgraded to 4.4.3 from 4.4.4 and the message doesn't appear anymore! Though I still don't know the reason for the message, I can finally use the widgets I want!

Hello everyone! I have a problem that I’ve recently discovered.
I flashed stock image to 4.4.4 not long ago. However, whenever I want to choose widgets after 8 pages of widget to put on the homescreen, my nexus 7 (2013) would crash and the message” Unfortunately, launcher has stopped” would pop out. I tried to reboot and try again but to no avail. I certain think that there is a bug that prevents me from choosing widgets after swiping for 6 pages because I can choose widgets in the first 7 pages. But I can’t choose them after page 7.
I think the problem originated from upgrading to 4.4.4. Since my device is rooted, I tried to sideload the update but failed. So I followed a website, suggesting flash 4.4.4 using Nexus Root Toolkit. I followed the instructions and “go to the Options and head over to the Flash Stock tab and tick the box next to Enable “No Wipe Mode”. Then a message box popped out as the following image (picture 2). Is it the cause?
Is there a way that I can solve this problem? Can I arrange the widgets not alphabetically so that I can put the Jorte widgets in the first page? Thank you very much for your help!!!

Odd... I did no wipe also and had no issues... I'd try to flash 4.4.4 again with wugs toolkit on the no-wipe function.

Do you mean that you upgraded to 4.4.4 using other tools, without wiping data?
Can you tell me how you did that? Maybe flashing to 4.4.4 again using your method can help me.

Title says it all, want to swap the back and apps button. They moved the option is system tuner from Android 7.0

You probably can if you can get your device rooted bit without root access I don't think so

Go to THIS link then go to the download page and grab the Stock SystemUI + Framework with minor mods – DOWNLOAD and install it. Then go into System UI Tuner in settings.

Unfortunately, I can't find it again, but one of the OTAs had a tool built in to do this in the UI Tweaker. It might have been the "V" version but I haven't been able to get it again.
