So I've done a few cycles on this battery and I got to say its the best bang for the buck. For $4 I am able to heavily use my phone for about 5-6 hours. I was playing GTA 3 on max settings and it got really hot.
This is the battery that claims to be 2300 mah btw.
I've attached my screenshots.

This eBay battery is really great as a supplement to the stock battery if you don't have enough power to get you through the day
It has about 80-90% capacity of the stock battery I would say.

I don't really want to endorse anybody and lead to bias-ness but here's the link anyways.

And now for the diffrence between covers and batts-
Curious to see how long this 3800mah battery lasts. Maybe twice the stock 1900mah battery?
Fair to say charge time from near-zero to full will take twice the time?
hiya.. i got one also.. and im pretty displeased with the performance of mine.. anyone else chime in??
i got one of these for £10.
its not pretty, but i wasnt buying it for the look!
pretty happy with it. it easily doubles the time i get with stock battery. and more !

hmm.. something is up with mine then.. i am on LiQUIDSMOOTH-v1.1 with franco milestone 2 kernel..
I recently got a hold of Anker Extended Battery for GS3 and wanted to do a quick review.
First is all, this is not very scientific. I did not use any specific tools to measure battery so there can variables.
Battery comes in nice retail packaging with extended battery cover including warranty info.
Over all, I am very satisfied with performance of the battery so far but its too early too tell. I am really not sure if its really 4400 mAH but under moderate use, I was able to get 1 days 7 hours and 50 mins of use with 5 hours and 50 mins of screen time. The great thing is that I have not recycled the battery yet so currently, battery is not at its full potintial yet.
I will post more updates.
Here are some pics of battery stats with screen time.

the GS3 is 8.6mm thin and this case is 19mm thick so this is like adding 11mm to the S3 since the phone goes inside the case.

Wow that's pretty hefty.
Is a GS3 with an extended battery thinner than 19mm? Might be a better route.

yes it is thinner with an extended battery... it is just over 16mm with the extended battery AND honeycomb case from hyperion.. and it is 4200mah.

Hey,
Anyone ever tried this out?
http://shop.sprint.com/mysprint/shop/accessory/ao_details.jsp?accSKU=67400182&accCatId=acc9002cat
They don't sell them at the Verizon store. They're at the Sprint store. It uses the OEM battery that comes with the phone. It piggybacks on an extra 1620mah battery.
I tried it and still have it it works great and u get the battery door, rubber case, and the plastic phone clip, its sweet but it does make ur phone pretty fat thou take that into consideration.
Ur battery will last a day and a half wit heavy use it did for me. Like 34 to 40 hours with like 6 hours of screen on time.

How large does it end up being? I recently stopped using a QCell battery because I didn't like the way the battery cover messed with flash pictures. From the picture on the Sprint website, it looks like the cover and case do not interfere with the flash like the QCell does.
The case does not interfere with any of it because it has all the rite cut outs, and its not that fat. I actually have a 4200 mah battery that I ordered from batteries plus. And they are both the same thickness. Hope this helped out.

I was bored, so i 'modded' a Book stash into a Wireless Qi charger....
Just place the N5 on the cover and it starts charging, i keep it on my nightstand for now.
I plan on buying another stash, or making a stash myself using a cooler looking real book...
Charging seems to function normally through the 5mm thick wood cover
What do you guys think?
