Hello all,
Is there any way to replace the cm9 boot animation with the ICS boot animation?
Thanks in advance!

I just found a zip of the boot animation on a different thread but it didn't work.
Any ideas why?

Hi guys!
Could somebody share the original boot animation files? or a bootanimation.zip would be better.
Thanks in advance.

I thought it was inside the boot.img? (The kernel?)
The actual boot image is in the kernel/boot.img...
If you're looking to change the boot animation... you can put a different boot animation - "bootanimation.zip" in /system/media
I posted in the wrong thread... :sly:

This will flash in recovery and as long as your rom has a kernel that supports custom boot animations.
Here is my thread. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1906092
There is an inverted version as well as the original version in recovery flashable format.
Thanks.
