Hello
This full Sense 4 ported from "Back to the Futureal" Rom for Desire HD to the Desire Z/G2.
The Desire HD Rom is based port of the One S rom to the Desire S by trapacska.
This is my first ROM which I release here, so please be patient with me, I'm still a beginner .
As there are many bugs in the Rom I'd be very thankful if someone could help me with getting rid of them.
***Credits***

For anyone who can't get the rom to boot, use this kernel. Flash the rom then flash the kernel. It removes undervolting which can cause problems on some devices. Hope it helps!

There are some bugs left in rosie which can't be resolved until we're able to edit *.m10 files. For tempfixing some of them use this tutorial: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=26678197&postcount=3
When you want to connect to your wifi but the phone just says 'network saved' and doesn't connect, you have to check your mac adress. I don't know why but mine changed and I had to enable the new mac adress in my wifi router settings.
Again: I'm still a noob. If someone, who has more experience than me, could help, I'd be very thankful. As I'm still a student, I have many exams in the next weeks so I don't know how much time I can affort to work on the Rom. The more people work on the Rom, the faster we'll have a stable, bugfree Rom.

Pre-Alpha 1: Initial release
Ohh I just saw that napior has posted his port while I was writing my thread. Sorry I didn't see that...
I can't wait to try your rom!!
Sent from my Xoom using Tapatalk 2 Beta-5
Downloadlink is online. Have fun but remeber: it's not a DD, even calls don't work.
Thanks! I was waiting for this! I am thinking of using Go Dialer which is included in Go Contacts instead of stock dialer!
EDIT : Even GO Dialer does not work. It throws FC.
P.S. : To be added, http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1644938 this one works.

How about uniting? Also, I found that trackpad wake patch that was used in Primadonna's was working. However, Rosie did not rotate even if lid gets opened. I think that is related to framework problem.

It isn't full sense 4.0, this Rom have framework from lite. Maybe here is problem.

Rosie doesn't rotate because rotation is disabled. I'll try to rezise the rosie properly then I'll try to enable the rotation.

You mean the complete framework is taken from the 4.0 lite?
I'm gonna look into this tomorrow.
I'll make an update tomorrow where more things are going to work than on this build (at least I hope so).
I really have a lot to do for school at the moment, so I'm not a 100% sure that I'll release it tomorrow but if everything goes as planned I'll upload the new build tomorrow evening.

Update your build, we just pushed an update. It should fix calls, skins, resizing of some apps, and give you 3D transitions

Okay, here's the changelog for the update:
-New base
-FIXED CALLS!
-Fixed bluetooth
-Reverted to Lite Rosie with cube transissions (the Full Rosie needs to be resized first)
-Lockscreen fixed
-Fixed USB mounting
-Leedroid tweaks added but they don't work.

New bugs:
- Widgets are not 3D (due to using lite rosie, I think)

I already (successfully) added the Extended Quicksettings in a testbuild but I'm waiting for permission from j4n87. They'll most propably be included in the next release.
I'm starting to upload now. I hope it's finished in ~ one and a half hours.
If you still want to use the full rosie, I'll make a flashable zip later.
edit: Recent apps actually work but I broke them again in the new build. I'll release another update tomorrow.
btw: napior is right, some parts of the Rom are taken from 4.0 lite, like the rosie (only temporarely) or most of the framework. In the future more full parts are going to be added
edit2: unfortunately the upload got stuck at around 95%. I'm going to upload it again tomorrow. Sorrry I have maths exam tomorrow, I should got to bed now...
After 3 times getting stuck while uploading, it finally is available. Link added to first post, or you can download it here (http://d-h.st/SLB 445.79 MB.
Have fun
btw: recent apps should work, when you press the search softbutton. Maybe someone can test it, thanks.
YAYYYY! Call works, downloading now!

Friend Stream and People Lockscreen doesn't work.
Productivity need to be resized.
Recent apps are now working when long pressing the home button. I'm going to wait before releasing an update until I get more things working...
Good news:
Quinny managed to resize the full rosie (from an older base) and will include it in an update, he's going to release tomorrow together with some other fixes. Depending when exactly he will release it, I'm gonna make an update tomorrow or the day after.

Edit: noticed it was in the G2 forum - is that the only phone this ROM works with? The European Hero?

My goal with this ROM is to achieve that stock gingerbread look and feel. I'm one of those people that just prefers a fresh stock feel and I'm hoping quite a few of you guys are.
Much love to the guys at Cyanogenmod and everyone that helps them, please donate to them and continue to support all of their hard work.
This ROM is as close to what you get when you pick up a Nexus S as I can get it for now.
This ROM features:
Gingerbread Stock Launcher
Nexus S live wallpaper
All Nexus S/Gingerbread Ringtones & Notifications
CRT Monitor animation for display sleep
Whats not working:
Microbes Live Wallpaper (I've got the wallpaper loading, but freezing after a few times locking the phone)
Trackball Wake/Unlock (Will work on making this standard tomorrow, should be an easy fix)
BUGS:
Wifi needs Fix Permissions & reboot on most devices.
Please note you must use Clockwork Recovery 3.0 or higher
V0.7
Changes phone model from Gingerbread to MyTouch 4G
Speed Increase
Phone will no longer default to "Silent" ringtone upon first boot.
Fixed USB bug when connecting to computer USB connection would crash.
V0.6
Update includes stock apps that were left out of V0.5 due to me rushing to complete.

I didn't change the GAPS, are you still able to go manually change the wallpaper to Nexus S live? I'm still working on getting the microbes wallpaper fixed I have it running but then freezing after a few times locking the screen. Hopefully I'll stumble across whatever it is causing the problems with the wallpapers.

Meizu M9 Q'n'D port for Vision
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
03/20/2011 update: no progress made, throwing in the towel
I can't figure the framework out, every edit I make breaks something else. Long story short, this is a little too in depth for me! Between work and family life, I don't have the time to sink into this to figure it out. For anyone interested in picking the project up, I'd recommend trying to merge an updated Meizu /system dump. Once you do, you'll need to baksmali services.jar and make some major edits. Here's 3 more up-to-date /system dumps I've found around various fora:
system_v1.0.0-13940.zip - Mediafire
system_v1.0.2-14504.zip - Mediafire
system_v1.0.2-15033.zip - Mediafire
Good luck to anyone who decides to pick this up, it's no joke!
END UPDATE
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Here's a working port of the Meizu M9 ROM for Vision! I need your help debugging and testing the ROM. This is to be considered totally experimental, and is still in need of further development. I wouldn't recommend using it as your daily driver (although I suppose you could ). I'm looking for input from other hackers on fixing what's broken. Thanks!
Flash it with CWM. It will work with the latest version available in ROM manager.
Thanks to:
siulmagic - he started the port and got it booting. This wouldn't be possible without him.

hey guys,
i just tried it out on my gsm htc vision and i had a lot of problems even if the rom boot.
no sim detection. no keyboard/trackpad/buttons working.
i just can't try it more since i can't lock/unlock the screen and can't use the home button.
hope you'l lfix it, this rom sounds really interesting.
This is a gingerbread based sense rom, the sense version included is 1.0, this is the update that htc gave to the Htc desire users, yes its the old sense but its fast and its based on gingerbread. this rom has alot of free ram(for a sense rom) about 107-120, it mostly stays at 100+.
This rom is mostly for people looking for a light weight, not feature rich sense rom, based on gingerbread.
The only stuff i removed was bloatware, the rest is in there.
Changelog:
v1.2
Now included into the rom:
Rmk40 Oc Dameon and Optimization Scripts
a patch to De-sense the rom(remove sense) it will be in the optional downloads section
Please download OC UV Beater, as i cant configure the Dameon settings as i dont have my g2 with me right now.
v1.1
included the following patches/fixes
the stock camera apk to record 720p, htccamera apk removed
tun4f1sh keyboard backlight fix

nope, not compatible.
Damn, this ROM is smooooooooooooooooooooth.
Just what I wanted, smooth sense without all the bloated features, now to skin it.
Exactly what i was looking for, a fast Sense 2.1 Android 2.3.3 rom!
Besides the camera and keyboard ligt does it lack anything?
Also what Radio RIL is included (to avoid the SMS issue)?
What is the difference compared to the desire s leak build of sense 2.1 on android 2.3.3?
This is like some weird mix between Sense 2.0 and Sense 2.1.
It doesn't have the notification bar stuff, it only has some of the 2.1 widgets.
It's buttery smooooth though
Is it possible to flash the DZ camera to regain 720p?

The DZ camera have framework dependencies and therefore might not work on an older sense
I think I'll give this one a shot too.

posted a fix for the in call mic volume and made a optional download section, were you will find the stock camera apk to record 720p videos.

True. or you can use a different launcher.
The thing i am wishing for the most is the keyboard backlight. the. launcher issue i can live with.
Can someone try pushing this framework to /system/framework to see if it fixes the button/keyboard backlight problems?

here's the original just in case something goes wrong and you need to push it.

yup it does work, awesome work tun4, im gona zip it up and make a flashable zip for everyone else to use.
I've used Maxwen's unofficial CM10 for about half a year now. Despite its best performance among all tested ROMs on my One V (PRIMOU) my mobile still had its times of complete denial of service, at times I couldn't even pick up a call.
Restarting took me up to 4 minutes, because it didn't respond to the power button! The non removable battery completed the mess.
No idea if my One V is an exception, but I read about others having similar problems.
For one week I use a beta testversion of Maxwen's CM10, slimmed down to 130MB - and it runs almost lag-free! I love my mobile again!! :cyclops:
It seems my system was overloaded and could hardly keep 20MB RAM free.
Since DerGraf1997's test release, I don't want anything else.
Some bugs, like the choppy presentation of Googlemaps or the out-of-focus movie recording have been there before, I can live with that.
Someone reported a missing headphone icon, which I cannot verify, I never had one.
But the drive-you-mad lags are a thing of the past :victory:
For those capable to understand German - find it on the German Android-Help site Android-Hilfe DOT de
As a newbie here, I am unable to post external links, so look for FabiansModV by DerGraf1997 and find the links there.
(I will add them when I can)
If you already use CM10 - it works with the same Kernel - HELLBOY, no need to update.
As always: Try at your very own risk! Back up first!
It has the same functionality as Maxwen's CM10 without some standard crap (browser, explorer, live wallpapers...) you can choose yourself from the Play store. Great work, Kudos to DerGraf and his predecessors!
Long live the underestimated One V(ictory)!!!
For you lazy people

Nice o-o
Tried this rom. Works good, but i have problem with alarm. It rings but dont pop up. So i have to sometimes slide notification bar first. Maybe it is a kernel problem. I have used latest Cm10 kernel.
Really slow comparing with CyanVivo

Weather fix
I had problem with the weather widget, then applied the fix from CM10 thread. Now it works!
Here is the fix for the weather on the lock screen:
