Galaxy note or galaxy nexus. Like them bouth cant decide

my experience with google devices was very pleasant, since they all have no bloatware on them like touchwiz. if you're going to use a custom rom than it doesnt matter on the software side, the hardware i. e. camera of the galaxy note is better from my experience and the bigger screen is a +. the touchpen is also cool for draw something if your going to play that the galaxy nexus has also a big screen but the big bottom nav bar with the buttons removes a lot of space and there are very few apps that go fullscreen from my experience. the home button on the galaxy note is for me a little outdated since on screen buttons should be the way to go in the future, i saw many phones with hardware key problems after 2 years i. e. iPhone 3G/3GS Volume and Home Buttons, with on-screen buttons like on the galaxy nexus these defects can not happen.

I really hope they made this phone something wild for a big eff you to Apple. Like that leak a while back of the sleek metal looking phone. Come on Samsung, take a chance and do something crazy!

AWFUL, FAKE render. The chrome parts on the back are really offset. And why in the hell would it have ON SCREEN buttons AND A PHYSICAL button? 0_o

This is not for our devices its for global, carrier unlocked versions. The First gen galaxy S2 with the hardware home button. And wont help us much if any at all.

+1.
It is somewhat good news nonetheless. Means we will get a bite of ICS soonish...

spelling and device are wrong. Tell us alot less about the status of t989 builds than the skyrocket leaks.

hopefully ours get updated before the GSIII announcement, or else Tmobile might delay the update so more people will buy GSIII (although I doubt they need much convincing). they're already doing this with the HTC phones

I thought that from ICS/Galaxy Nexus forward, hardware buttons would be phased out but then the One X and SG3 brought them back. Or is this only applicable to Google's Nexus phones?
After having the ability to customize the navigation on screen buttons through rooting, it's going to be hard to go back to a hardware/capacitive type setup.
Can safely assume only Google knows. I doubt they'd switch gears at this point, but that's my personal opinion.

I really don't like speculation posts.
It's a manufacturer thing. I'm sure the next Nexus devices will have software keys only. I dislike hardware keys...
Google is trying to kill physical buttons.
Look at there success with tablets.
Only a matter of time before we see phones following the example.
I hope.
They should patent it just in case

Not sure why you think its a "manufacturer thing". Google tells the Nexus manufacturer what to make. And they'll choose on-screen buttons again.
The note 2 is awesome.. ok with that said, do you guys know of a program that will give me ics buttons? I could defintely use a back button thats right by my thumb. Those software buttons would be very handy. Im talkin gabout just the ics back home, multitask buttons Thanks
ps. also as a gs1 user, im used to softly pressing the home, which I tend to do on my note 2 thinking it's software lol. i actually prefer light touches but appreciate the hw button as well
I tried a popular button software from the app store but it was pixelated. (dont remembe rthe name but it was the most popular one with where you pull the ics menu from the left or right side of the screen.) id even pay for it if someone made one thats super clean just like the real thing.

If your phone is rooted you just need to edit build.prop

Cass Art is world famous. Is this stylus fully optimised? Apparently it works with nearly all tablets...our screen deserves better since it is a full blown wacom digitized screen. Anyone tried it yet?

I can't justify paying £20 on it let alone £40, I'm a beginner and have just started attempting to do sketches. I think this brush would be pretty awesome. Maybe when I get good I'll biy one however thats probably not ganna happen anytime soon lol.
It's just a stylus. It's not pressure sensitive nor is it active. They made a squishy nibbed stylus. Big whoop. I don't really see many digital artists using pain stylii. They use active pens. Granted, some art on pen.UP is really cool and done with a stylus or finger, but actual professionals use active pens. They also don't use tablets like is for much more than drafting, though there are a fair number of modestly powerful tools for the hardware.
