Hi. I think the Google search on the home screens. I do not want to delete the apk just to have a blank field without having the opportunity to have widgets placed at the top of the screen. Do anyone have any suggestions to make the filed active?
You can disable Google Search and that search widget goes away. Do you mean that?
If that's the case, then you need to go to:
settings>apps>all apps>Google Search>Disable

No he didnt mean that.If you disable the search or uninstall the appl this area in homescreen is unusable.I think only launcher modding can solve it

Yes, you are right, even removing the search bar does not allow that space to be used.

Only way to do it right now is to install adw launcher ex.stock launcher needs modding

So silly me read the first to post and hey great removed the widget but after reading more where space is not used tried to get the search widget back and its not where it was when I disabled it , how do I get it back ?

Go to settings-apps then tab "all" go to the bottom of the list.google search must be there disabled

questions belong in the q&a section.
Apps with a black background and light lettering, that are normally the other way around are known as "inverted apps".
search the nexus themes and apps forum for " inverted messenger app " and you will find many.
and remember to post questions in the questions section, and search before posting.

I just flashed my HOX with monxDIFIED rom by Kanged. But the GUI looks similar to that of Ice Cold Jelly bean.
How can I get that exact look?? The home screen shown in that pic looks fabulous!
Is there any app that does that, that I don't know about? Or just any help how make my HOX look like that.

That's done using nova launcher. You can change the icons for apps in dock. The text icons you can make using simple text available in play store.

This screenshot was posted in "Post your GN2 Home screen" on page 43, post #424. What is the widget used for the clock on this one? I really like how it reads like "Fifteen minutes to Eight...." or whatever. Thanks!

The original poster of that Home screen replied to my PM I had sent. It's 'One More Clock Widget' available via playstore. It's really nice as it has more than just that one theme, along with a decent amount of options to change the selected theme.

Hey, Thanks for the information.
But you know the xda community is very big so for posting a little bit knowledge means that the people have to search hole the community before posting and its not possible .
And this thread was maid when the Beta version of App was launched and its not available in the other forums or in App. So i was post in this forum.
