[Q] Supreme Desire ROM - Desire Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello
i am trying the supreme Desire ROM, based on the CyanogenMod7
so far, it's a blast.
very fast and great.
the only serious problem for me, is that it doesn't support HEBREW FONTS.
that's a big down side of the ROM. it's very difficult to install hebrew fonts manually.
CyanogenMod7 does support hebrew great.
can someone help install FONTS? or adjust the Supreme Desire ROM?
Thank you.

I am using MildWild CM-4.6 based on CyanogenMod7.2 RC1. This ROM is very fast, has lots of memory, a good battery life and supports Hebrew (I just tested it successfully). I know this is not the answer you expected but could be an option if no one else can help.

Stock 2.3 with Sense 3.0 question

Hi guys, I'm really sorry to post this but I can't seem to find an answer on here already... And its probably a stupid question too.
Does anyone have a way of just updating to sense 3.0 without installing an entirely new ROM or is it deeply woven into it?
I used to install WM roms back in the day but I'm only just getting to grips with Android... Although I have to say its already put a massive smile on my face.
If installing a new 2.3 Rom with sense 3.0 is the only way forward could anyone recommend some good ones?, which have people found to be the most stable and with the least bugs?, I'm really looking for the closest thing to the Desire HD stock Rom that I can find.
Thanks guys.

I'm thinking about creating a stock only rooted + busy box and with speed tweaks ROM so devs dont have to root it all the time, will be up in next few days.

Come on dude, just search the forum. If you want the whole Sense 3.0 experience you must flash a new rom.
Or else you can flash some Sense 3.0 components from here.
PS. Wrong section. You should post in Q&A.

Sorry I thought I had posted it in the Q&A section, my bad.
Thanks for posting the link to Sense extras but I might have to go down the full ROM route, as for the ROM choices, I just thought I'd try and use the experience of some more knowledgeable users as to the closest ROM to the stock as I was UNABLE to find any definitive answers.
Thanks anyway.

this one it's the first port and I think it's the best because people in there make the m10 decoder....

Personally I found i00's sense 3 Rom to be more stable with less fc's.
You're posting a question in the development forum [bad practice btw]; do you expect us not to recommend you flash a full rom?
Most sense roms are now including parts of Sense 3.0 in their build.

yeah, Q&A would have been better
I use LeeDroid 3.0.3 as a base, it has an add-on what contains weather, lockscreen and message app, and you can use MDJ's camera add-on, and than you'll have most of the new stuff and a faaast, stable ROM

Am I to understand it then that many of the current ROM's with Sense 3.0 aren't full ports?, if that is right what things are likely to be missing?, I'm basically after the closest experience to the new HTC Sensation.

i00's 5.3 and RCMix3D Kingdom port are full ports, but not fully stable
try one of these and than what I suggested, and you'll see what the differences are
and maybe start an other thread in the Q&A

Thanks guys, I'll be looking into it much more this week now, you've given me some great insight.
Also sorry once again for the wrong forum post, I honestly thought Iwas still in the Q&A section - these pills obviously aren't working!!
Cheers

There is no stable ICS/JB ROM for daily use.
You can try Sandvold's release but it's not good for daily use. It's still beta.

There is no ROM comparison thread in the desire hd forum as it can be some kind of disrespect to the devs for their hard work.
You are encouraged to try all the roms by yourself as people tends to have different preferences.

You can select roms a tad easier using this list though:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2002349
Other than that it is all about your preferences.
no "best rom" threads for the mentioned reasons.

[Q] I need an advice, which ROM is best for me

I love sense 4, it just looks great, but i feel my phone become slower and slower. iam ready to give up sense for a good performance.
i tried costume sense but i didn't find a real difference in terms of performance.
and my power button is almost broken so i currently use KISS kernel which support Swipe 2 unlock. but KISS is for sense ROMs only.
can i have this feature on another kernels?
thank you all

No one can answer this question correctly except you. Try the various ROMs available to you and decide which one is best.

There is not such thing as a "best" ROM, its down to the individual needs of the person. As each user has their favourite, discussions can quickly get out of hand. This is why these sort of threads get closed.
