Has anyone got a Bluetooth dongle working on kindle fire?

Without driver support in the OS I don't see how it would work.

I saw that thread and was wondering what happened to bluetooth considering our devices have the capability, but I don't see any ROMs with it enabled...
It's pretty much well established that Bluetooth on the Kindle Fire will not work. The only way is to use OTG and a Bluetooth dongle.

Is that very complicated? I like my torque app so I can see my engine temperature and stuff in my car since I only have a tach and speedometer, but my phone can only fit one large gauge on it, the fire could fit 6-10.
beep beep, anyone?
Bluetooth dongle works now?

As already stated above, OTG adapter is needed. You can find them at Amazon, and elsewhere.

the kindle fire doesn't come with an internal microphone
Just plug in some iPod/iPhone headphones, or get a trrs adaptor
tried ipod and droidx with mic no go
The fire doesn't come with a mic....use an external one.
I'm planning on buying the dongle soon and was wondering if anyone here has used it and if it works well. Also, if anyone has heard of a fix for the allsharecast not working on root.

Is there any way, perhaps using an OTG cable, to make my kindle fire as a secondary display unit for my Android smartphone?
I am using hellfire's cm9 rom.
Thanks!
While I am just a user and no expert, I do not think there is an available video input/output on the USB port of the fire.
