Anytime no matter what from I use the touch screen stops functioning properly when I go to charge the phone. I'm using all they stock cables and such except for the Samsung galaxy nexus battery even though it does it with the original battery as well.

Probably a bad charger. Usually that's the issue.sucks that your oem one is messed up. Amazon has them for like $7 including wire

Should just be volume down and power, I assume you've also pulled the battery and let set for a while before trying again?
At worst you can actually make a USB jig with supplies easily gotten at like a radioshack. Zedomax started a thread on it

Some phones do. Both the skyrocket and vivid for at&t as well as some of the other galaxy s 2s on other carriers.

The cause of the issue is usually the charging port. But a few times it can be the battery. Have you tried using a different charger?

My phone has been charging for 6 hrs and it only made to 75% I also experienced this with my GS3. This only happens from time to time, had anyone else experience this

I figured it had something to do with the charger cause when I switched charging cables it would charge properly. Thanks for the response.
