Camera apps don't work from rom to rom if copied or installed!
It has to be ported!

No, it's a different framework.... (fex Camera or conversation) semc apk can be use only in stock roms and roms based on stock.

Because you need to move further to Android 4.0.X / 4.1.X based ROM if you are an Arc or Arc S user these days for getting any chance to install Instagram..

Hello friends..
I am using custom rom Atomic GB 7 (2.3.7) + DooM Kernel v22
but I'm missing facebook inside xperia app in this rom.
I can't post to that particular thread.
please help me if some knows about it.
I have searched about it, but that was for GB 2.3.4 ( my device may go into Bootloop)

I'm using the same rom and it doesn't come with that. Port FBix to the rom would be the only solution.

I have arc s
My arc s has a auto rotation problem in stock ics, but it works fine on gb
I was wondering if anyone can port(or give me instructions) sensor drivers from GB to ICS
I am able to post stuff from GB rom here
Please somebody help
I tried just copy pasting from GB to my ICS but it caused bootloop
P.s i have a locked bootloader and all roms i have tried give me this problem

No app, nothing auto rotates (changes from portrait to landscape) in ICS
But in GB everything is fine
I can easily play games like temple run and etc that involve the use of the sensor (in ICS and GB)
If i open the messaging app and tilt it to the landscape mode , nothing happens it just stays in portrait mode (ICS)
Edit: i have tried UHD 3.0.2, 4.1.B.1.13, 4.1.B.0.587 ICS roms
and 4.0.2.A.0.62 GB rom
also i have locked bootloader
I think making the GB sensor drivers compatible with ICS should work and cause no kind of lesser performance (sorry for the bad english )

Guys my xps freezes with data on,on edge network.Im using doomkernel v 4a on gingerbread.I know there was a problem with wifi but why on edge network.Any solutions
Also if any one can provide me stock kernel of gb stock rom or advanced stock kernel

Just a solution for those who want to use gb with doomkernel.Just flash any gb ftf.Fastboot doomkernel & flash sspeed rom v8.Everything will be fine then
