MIUI Australia Control Panel is a wonderful work but sadly it is only available for some limited devices. Therefore I decided to port this Control Panel to work on all MIUIAndroid ROMs, so that the users can enjoy the MIUI Australia Control Panel on his/her device as an add-on for MIUIAndroid ROMs.
Additionally to the Control Panel, I added some MODs that I find useful to make MIUIAndroid ROMs more complete and those transform the Control Panel into Control Panel Suite.
Features
Center/Switched/Normal Status Bar layout
Custom Carrier Label, hide Carrier Label or Carrier Logo (via mtz theming)
Resizeable On-Screen Keys
A virtual navigation buttons at the bottom of the home screen like in Nexus.
4/5-Way Reboot
Added a sub-menu to “Reboot” menu: Normal, Quick, Recovery, Bootloader, Switch System (only on Mi-1 and Mi-2).
Smooth Scrolling
It disables the scrolling cache thru out the entire OS which in return it supposes to make scrolling smoother in all apps.
CRT-Off Animation
An old tv off effect during turning off the screen.
Installations
Make backup or make sure the original rom or the restore zip file is on the sdcard.
Flash mod in CWM.
Wipe cache & dalvik cache. (Optional)

Make sure your that your HBOOT is 1.31 or greater
Check if you CID is supported, visit http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1957376 for updates. Cheers Mike
Unlock your bootloader via HTCDev and install a custom recovery.
Download the ROM and place it on your virtual SD card.
Do a nandroid backup!
Extract boot.img from ROM zip and flash it using ‘fastboot flash boot boot.img’.
Use 'fastboot erase cache' to avoid boot issues.
Go into recovery and install the ROM.
Please choose fullwipe if you are asked, highly recommended if you go from one rom from another rom.
Reboot the device and enjoy!
Q: How do I install the rom?!
A: Installation instructions are in thr 5th posts at the bottom.
Q: Whats the md5 sum thing?
A: It ensures, that the rom is downloaded correctly and completly to avoid weird issues when installing/using the rom. Google for "md5 sum checker" and you should find what you need.
Q: My phone stucks on HTC splash screen
A: "fastboot erase cache" in fastboot and flash the boot.img or use the boot.img flasher provided here.
Q: Whats the boot.img. Why we need to flash it?
A: The boot.img is the kernel and have to be flashed if you want your rom running well. HTC Dev Unlock doesnt allow to install the kernel directly when installing the rom in recovery, thats why you need to install in manually.
Q: I found a theme or mod, will it work on this rom?
A: It's NOT recommended to use mod/themes that dont clearly state, that they are compatible with our rom. Thems/Mods always use framework files which will brake mods/stuff in our rom.

sweep2wake is kernel related and makes it possibel to turn screen off and on by swyping your finger from back to menu key.
swype2unlock isnt a kernel feature. it makes it possible to unlock your lockscreen intead of moving the ring by sliding your finger from back to menu button and NOT to wake your device and put int into sleep.
Q: Volume wake isnt working after some time when the device is in deep sleep.
A: This is a kernel issue, no way I can fix it in the rom.
Q: I need someone repackaging a kernel
A: Kernels dont need to be repacked for our rom. We dont have ramdisk tweaks. So you are able to flash the kenrel straight from the kernel devs thread.
Q: What are the correct sizes for the App drawer and notfication pulldown background?
A: Try 720x1280.

A: No custom (htc source)kernel for that yet.
Q: Missing C in Clock/Weatherwidget
A: Known issue.. fixed in 3.3.3OTA
Q: After installing OTA i cant go into recovery.
A: Remove OTA.zipp from SD sd/download/
Q: Changing Fonts not working
A: Select mount system as read/write in Tweaks

Q: CID you SAY?? What BLASPHEMY is this you speak OF????
A: It is your Customer ID, this is based on where you purchased your HOX (VodaFone, Car Warehouse, Crack Dealer, ETC ETC)
They are not universal and are not supplied by your local hook up and there is nothing Team Venom can do to change that.
Q: How do I check my CID?
A: Use THIS simple app
Q: My CID is among the privileged few what now???
A: Check THIS thread for the safest and easiest way to upgrade your HBOOT to ViperX JB compatiblity.
Once on the needed HBOOT, you may flash ViperX JB and ENJOY a REAL CUSTOM ROM
Q: I used OMG SUPER MOD zip on ICS Viper, will it work on JB Viper.
A: NO, unless your developer has updated the MOD/APP for 3.14.401.31 base it wont work.
ViperX also has an extensively modified framework-res.apk and any mods that modify this apk WILL break VenomTweaks.
Q: My battery drains fast/look my battery stats
A: If you want to discuss batterystats/usage (on custom kernels in the future) Go to Goku80,s thread

This is the custom Kernel Flasher for the ViperX Rom.
With this script you can easily flash custom kernels.
Make sure you are on the home screen and connected to your computer and have usb debugging enabled.
After that run the script for your OS.
Mac: start_mac.command

Instructions to Install
Download the latest ROM zip and GApps from the download tabs above.
Connect your Nexus 7 into USB Storage mode to the PC via USB data cable.
Drag the downloaded two zips to the root of your storage (and not in any folder).
Power off the device, press Volume Up + Volume Down + Power buttons altogether until you see the Recovery screen
You are now in Recovery mode.
If you are flashing this ROM for the first time (coming from another ROM): wipe /data (factory reset) /cache, dalvik-cache and /system
If you are updating this ROM (coming from previously installed version of this ROM): wipe /cache and dalvik-cache
"Install zip from sdcard" > "choose zip from sdcard" > select the ROM zip and press "Yes" to flash.
Follow the above step again to flash the GApps.
When all is done, select "reboot system now".

Ok,i flashed the rom,i like it,especially the customization options.
One small request and suggestion,if i may.i'm using 240dpi and at this value,the answer call button is off centered to right.chasmodo from n7000 section gave me the solution,but it's up to you if you test it or not.

Great rom! Everything seems to be working fine. Why is there no option to edit hardware key functions in lockscreen? I've never seen a custom ROM without that option.

If you have unlock the bootloader, for our devices it's volume down+power then you are in bootloader press twice volume down then power to go to the recovery.
Guys, make sure you have cwm recorey,not twrp.
I flashed latest touch recovery with romtoolbox. With twrp i softbricked my phone when i tried to flash official cm 10.1 few days ago

It depends on the devices as in done on my F180K I have to press up/down volume at the same time + power...

Cyanogenmod and Cynogenmod-based ROMs have a few issues on the XPERIA Arc. These are mainly no 720p recording capability and no Wi-Fi tethering. I'd like to know whether these two function well on this particular ROM. What about NFC? Additionally, will flashing a ROM wipe the EFS partition? Do let me know, because I'd really like to make the switch over to this ROM. What bugs have you all encountered, if any?

How to install :
Use CWM6.
Warning: Only use this recovery to flash New build with new partitio layout.0. Otherwise, you risk bricking your phone, or you might experience boot and stability issues!
Wipe data and cache.
Format /system (only first time coning from older recovery)
Format /data and /data/media (only first time coning from older recovery)
Flash update*.zip.
Flash gapps*.zip. You must flash gapps after every upgrade the since /system is formatted, wiping your previous add-ons.
Reboot phone.
After you setup your Google account, reinstall the three apps from Market in order to restore most of your apps, call log and SMS history.

If you restore a bad backup with cached settings in telephony.db in data/data/com.*.*.telephony it can break MMS.
It seems that restoring backups can also break Calendar sync.

Yup, it similar in hardware such as gpu, camera, cpu, etc.
cant detect external sd card
did fresh install from stock, the performance was good, better than cm12, but i couldnt detect my external sd card and doesnt detect usb, i took the ex sd card put cm 12 and did fresh install back again, than flashed k^kernal exuv, alot of random freeze, after that i flashed again with uv, rom seems to be okay, bit still lags and freezes sometimes when i try to type msg, had to took out the battery and on the phone again. thanks alot for the effort, deeply appreciate what you guys doing for the old phone

For calibration miui compass: I read many guides ..... works well for me my method I use for some time, with all my devices with Miui rom:
position the device horizontally in the hand, the head of Z1C must be oriented toward the magnetic north (approximately)
away from magnetic sources (also PC)
Shake the phone for some time, by moving towards the north. (easier to do than to explain) - the device must always be in the horizontal position
or:
Turn on itself by 3 to 5 times, the device, in the hand (always in horizontal position)
I attach screenshots comparison with Xperia J My MIUI rom 4.12.5 - and successful calibration (sorry for fingerprints on the screen -)

Why strange? Its so simple question! Hope you understand diferencie between miui ports based on Cyanogenmod and miui ports based on stockrom? Its a big diferencie, you must know that! For example - stock rom based ports have all features from stockrom, but Cyanogenmod ports have nothing from stock rom, only Cyanogenmod features! My question was so simple: did our rom have micode patch over Cyanogenmod rom or our rom have micode patch over stockrom?

Exactly. I know the difference between Cyanogenmod and Stock rom. But certainly not your level of expertise, because if I'm not mistaken, when you already you produced from your kitchen rom - for MITAC A701 WM6.5 - I knew only turn on that phone.
But I learned to use kitcken wm6.5 I found a hobby that I'm in love.
I understand now! I have look into build.prop that you posted few posts back and it looks like build.prop from stock rom, so probably our MIUI is probably based on stock rom! Stock based roms is always better than CM so don't gave up since your rom is diferent than miui which you mentioned in first post (this)!

this does not change the font type
but always Miui changes DIMENSIONS character!
In fact, entering the menu: small miui / standard miui / Miui Medium / Large Miui.

Is there a possibility to control apps like Spotify via lockscreen?
Basically a music control option on lockscreen?
I don't need the internal music app... Unfortunately everything seems to be based on it.
Everything else seems fine to me

Yes thats possible. You have to choose one of the miui theme witch support it. Apply one of these and you will be able to activate the music app control via double tap on the middle of the lockscreen.

Yeah I read that earlier in a thread. Tried it with v6 Extended theme... I get the control buttons on the lockscreen but they don't work for Spotify
Not a huge problem since I mostly control everything with my Bluetooth headphones directly but still a major feature missing.
Plus the media controls in the notification quick settings only work with the music app from MIUI.
Maybe there will be a mod some time where you can change these things
