Please Rate this thread based on your reading and tweaks that I provided. If the rate is too low, that means I'm doing a bad job in here! Please don't rate this thread with the only reason that I do not provide the tweaks for your rom, which you are using! I'm using my own time for this just like lots of other users. [Quick uptates]
I just found that some of the cpu tweaks are not working on current kernel. So it needs to be changed. The coming new version of Kobridge tweak pack v3.0 will have the adjustment on it. Because kernel does not suppot some cpu function, you may see no difference between the different mode of tweaks. v3.0 is coming soon!
What's this?
The flashable zip files including the build.prop (known as Super build.prop, thanks to Team ERA for naming it) for rooted stock based ROMs and other very useful init.d scripts.

Which ROMs supported?
Basically, these tweaks only work on stock based ICS Roms like Calkulin's (tested), sfhub's (tested), Agat's (tested), VeNuM_ICE_Rom (tested), Frankenstein's Ego (Tweaks on TeamERA thread), MIJJz BLEND ICS (not tested), AnaKonda Rom ICS (being tested), HyDrA (being tested), etc.... Do not flash this tweak on any other ROMs.
How to install?
Just go to the Recovery mode by press vol up + power at the same time and flash the zip file. To flash the zip file, you will need repacked kernel kernel like Rogue Recovery or sfhub's kernel plus.
Note: Be sure that you have your nandroid before doing anything. It is not required but recommended just in case. This flashable zip file don't format or erase anything but replace build.prop file, install-recovery.sh, install-recovery-orig.sh and init.d tweak files if there's already same named files.
So, before flashing this zip file, be sure that you make the backup files properly just for in case you want to go back.
What's going to be installed or replaced?
build.prop - Be sure that you have the same version of stocked based ROM. If you rom is different with the rom version in the title, you need to find a different build.prop which is based on your rom version.
install-recovery.sh, install-recovery-orig.sh - Thanks to sfhub. sfhub created this file originally to support the init.d scripts from stock or any other type of roms. If you are using sfhub's auto root tool, the original install-recovery.sh would be saved into install-recovery-orig.sh. So, be sure that make backup these files if those are already there. My flashable zip file will replace the existing install-recovery.sh and install-recovery-orig.sh files.
init.d - will be created if it's not there and will replace the existing same named files. Otherwise, tweak files will be placed into init.d folder.
busybox, sqlite3, zipalign will be placed into /system/xbin folder.
If you don't know what you're doing, please don't use this flashable zip file and ask first. I'm not responsible for any bricked pnones by using this tweak. So, do it with your own risk if you want to try.

What's in attchment?
Kobridge_xxxx_Tweaks_v2.4A.zip - aggressive tweak (all the tweaks are same, except cpu tweaks). Focused on more aggressive battery savings. So, sometimes you may see the lag time specially when you do the batch jobs. If you feel, it's kind of slow, use M tweak.
Kobridge_xxxx_Tweaks_v2.4M.zip - moderate tweak. should be fine for most cases and battery saving is still huge.

Last screenshot added - more than 3 days. Huge drop at the last moment (phone call - check the signal bar )

Note:
For any previous stocked based ICS ROM users, you can use the most recent one but you will lose your current build related information. If you don't mind, flash the zip file that you want to use.
[Useful Hint]
If the batch job is taking long time when you use 'A' tweak, you can temporarily increase the CPU speed to maximum 1.2GHz by using a tool like System Tuner (Pro). By using this tool, if the job (something like removing bulk applications thru Rom Toolbox or backing up apps thru Titanium Backup) is slow, go to CPU settings and click the '+' button to increase the CPU speed until the job finished. After the job, just reset the CPU speed to 1GHz. In some case, the lag time is unavoidable because CPU is slowly trying to increase the CPU speed based on the CPU overload. If we make the CPU frequencies to be changed very fast, then it uses more battery. There's always pros and cons. If you use System Tuner (Pro), do not use the tweaks provided by System tuner pro with my tweaks in here.

3. Reboot
How to change the tweak mode:
1. do not download zip file again. Just go to kernel recovery mode (not stock kernel)
2. choose zip file from /sdcard/VeNuM_Tweaks
3. Flash and reboot
How to go back to VeNuM default tweaks -
1. same as changing tweak mode but choose Kobridge_VeNuM_RL5.5_Tweaks_v2.5S.zip file.
2. flash and reboot.
My recommendation to select the tweak mode is, first try 2.5P tweak and if it's accpetable, then try 2.5M and 2.5P... If the lag time is not acceptable for you, just stay with VeNuM default tweaks.
Performance (from fast to slow) -
VeNum default > 2.5P > 2.5M > 2.5A
Battery savings
VeNuM dafault < 2.5P < 2.5M < 2.5A
VeNuM_ICE_Rom_RL5.0 - Download Kobridge Tweaks for VeNuM and flash it. VeNuM's default files will be backed up /sdcard/Venum_Tweaks folder including build.prop and install-recovery.sh. I decided to only place my tweaks into init.d folder because lots of overlaps. If anyone want to run default VeNuM tweaks, copy/move those tweak files from /sdcard/Venum_Tweaks to /system/etc/init.d. Be sure that I also moved VeNuM's build.prop and install-recovery.sh files to /sdcard/Venum_Tweaks backup folder. So, to go back, just place the all files from backup to the right places and reboot.
AnaKonda_Rom_v1 - Download Kobridge Tweaks for AnaKonda rom and flash it. AnaKonda's default files will be backed up /sdcard/AnaKonda_Tweaks folder including build.prop. If anyone want to run default AnaKonda tweaks, copy/move those tweak files from /sdcard/AnaKonda_Tweaks to /system/etc/init.d. Be sure that I also moved AnaKonda's build.prop to /sdcard/AnaKonda_Tweaks backup folder. So, to go back, just place the all files from backup to the right places and reboot.
[Updates] oldest (top) -> newest (bottom)
* Blu Kuban Rom - Sorry Blu Kuban users. I spent couple of hours to check this Rom. It appears that Blu Kuban requires its own build.prop and there are lots of settings here and there. No one wouldn't able to support this rom except the Dev.
* Just checked out VeNuM_ICE_Rom_RL5.0 - It seems like there's no problem flashing kobridge tweaks into this rom. No conflicts on build.prop. After flashing, goto /system/etc/init.d folder and change the file permission of 1VeNuM1 & 9darky_zipalign to 644. For 2VenuM2 file, keep the permission 755. If this file's permission is not 755, do not change and just keep the same permission.
I saw many useful tweaks on 2VenuM2. So, I do not want to prevent this tweak running on boot. After changing the permission, reboot the phone one more time to run the tweaks selectively again.
* Update for VeNuM_ICE_Rom_RL5.0 - it's working but need some modification. I'm working to release the flashable zip file for this rom. Thanks to bigpeng for testing this tweak out on his phone. 5/19/12 Added flashable zip file.
* AnaKonda_Rom_v1 - Not been tested yet. Need someone to test. Please report if you are using AnaKonda rom and willing to test it. If you want to apply this tweak, do it with your own risk.
* Update for VeNuM_ICE_Rom_RL5.0 - 2.4.1P version released for test purpose. If you experience the lags on VeNuM, try this one.

That's right. It's based on Rom version and not Kernel.

Just to 100% sure, if Im running Agat's tFE10_v0.1.0 Rooted, which of the 2 .zip files below should I run?
Also what is the difference between these 2 as they seem to be based on the same ROM version?
1) Kobridge_FE10_Tweaks_v2.4A.zip
2) Kobridge_FE10_Tweaks_v2.4M.zip

A - Aggressive power savings mode - slower than 2.4M but batter saving is huge
M - Moderate power savings mode - faster than 2.4A while still extending the battery life

I'm running Calks FD26 1.5 ROM, the aggressive tweak and had the 3 or so second lag before screen wake on an incoming phone call.
I only bring it up to get further input from other users running the aggressive tweak as I've only seen it reported once before. I'm going to stick with it to see how that issue goes since it only happened once so far with the new set of tweaks (and everything is going VERY well).
Please report any other issues as they occur for Kobridge please so he can address any ongoing problems. Cheers! TD

Since the script has been changed a little to fix that issue, please use the latest one in this thread. It would make your phone more responsive than previous tweak.

here's a suggestion but I could be way off..
why not take the build.prop out of the flashable zip since it is version specific and instead just have it as a txt document with only the tweaks. and have the user paste it at the bottom of their current build.prop.
that way you wouldn't need to create flashable zips for each new leak..
maybe I'm just thinking about this all sideways..
I always just chop out tweaks from the build.prop of roms and have a big list that I paste at the bottom of the build.prop on any rom I use..
anyway, once again big thanks for your contributions kobridge.

I've already considered that option but incorrect editing of build.prop could be a reason of boot loop.
What I'm thinking about is, we may need to separate the build.prop and any other tweaks. So, user can flash the other tweak files separately. For the build.prop, because it's rom dependant, I may need to create a new one each time while keeping the other tweaks same.

Posted last screenshot from FE14 at OP - couldn't spend more time on FE14 because have to move on to FE16.
Too busy... FE10 -> FE14 -> FE16 in just couple of days. Maybe some of my tweaks are useless because none uses the previous ROM. Hope FE16 stay a little longer.

wish I could use all your init.d tweaks but I'm aosp for life..
I've included my build.prop tweaks.. basically I compiled a list of tweaks I was able to find about a month ago.. I think I may have incorporated your initial release not sure, but probably many redundancies. just thought I'd share.. I usually just jam this whole file at the end of the my new fresh build.prop..
can't give proper credit cause I went thread to thread reading about tweaks and then rom to rom checking out the build.prop..
so I guess thank you xda..

Couple of things for AOKP users.
1. build.prop needs to be updated since because AOKP check the build information during the boot. Based on build info, if it's not AOKP, phone wouldn't boot.
2. 31CPU tweak need to be modified or should not be used because it's causing a boot loop.

One time, I tested it on AOKP build35. Because there's no way to check my tweaks on AOKP, I flashed AOKP to my phone and tested it out.
Build.prop and 31 tweak had the problem.
But again, currently I'm stick with stock based rom and I do not formally support AOKP or any other non-stock based ROMs.

[MOD] one pack tweaks compilation (gps-net-memory)

lately I've found that some people are looking for more tweaks for SGY. you might have heard about v6 and adrenaline engine which can boost up our device performance. however, these script are usually only change the setting on memory management and kernel setting. I can't found a branded tweak with a script not only for memory management but also tweak gps, net speed, and build.prop properties tweak.
well...this mod is an one pack tweak for all that stuff. it contain all init.d tweak which used daily in my device. don't worry about the modules stuff since I already put them inside.
1. tweaks for modules : droidwall modules by mikstev and bacem patch by irfanbagus
2. tweaks for memory management : kuro1
3. tweaks for build.prop properties : kuro2
4. tweaks for net speed : sysinit --> sysctl tweaks
5. additional tweaks : zipalign, sqlite optimize, minfree, data cleaner, sdcard tweak (these last four are in kuro1), and gps tweaks.
6. add blocker tweak (new)
important notes:
1. this mod is only tested on SGY. please use it carefully if you intent to use it on another device.
2. installation guide: flash it via CWM.
3. I highly recommend to delete (or temporary move) all init.d script before install this mod (just in case, for your safety and to ensure that my tweak will run). you can put your favourite script later if the installation succes.
4. a kernel with init.d support is a minimum requirement for this mod.
5. to check whether if the tweak run or not go to /data and see if all of 4 log file tweak created there with correct time when you turn on your device.
- kuro_zalign.log : contain the log file for zipalign
- kuro_tweak1.log : contain the log file for kuro1 tweak
- kuro_tweak2.log : contain the log file for kuro2 tweak plus test for undervolt with bacem tweak
- kuro_slite.log : side log file for kuro1. it contain the log file for vacum tweak inside kuro1

Sparepart app
this app won't give you a boost in your device's performance. its an app comes from aosp rom. you can use it to set the animation effect in your device. set the speed at 'fast' and you'll get a feel that your device is running zoom zoom zoom.

yup...I only create kuro1, kuro2, sysctl.conf. I've also edited gps.conf (previously made by hellstorm) and bacem tweak. however the other script is almost untouched.

Can i flash this tweak pack on galaxy y which is already using adrenaline engine....plz answer it....

you can but better if you don't. if you still want to use it, delete kickass kernel, kuro2, darky zipalign, sysctl, complete and sqilte optimize from my zip file then flash it.

can i flash this on galaxy y duos ????

@leo: i'm still using it but i've got report that it has bug. I never experienced it but they said that the connection sometimes doesn't stable. Thats why i didn't put that in this tweak.

using internal mem as swap have a risk that the internal memory might corrupted (and eternally couldn't repaired). --> the main reason why no one ever interested to use internal memory as swap.

first of all you should flash a stock kernel with odin. after that you could install repencis's kernel with usual method.

[Tweak] Kobridge's Universal Init.d Enabler + most commonly used Tools

Kobridge's Universal Init.d Enabler
(I decided to bring this tweak to top thread from my stock rom thread because it would be more benefitial to most of E4GT rom users)
I saw so many users wonder if their init.d scripts work or not. So, I created a simple flashable zip file and this can be used on any ROMs and should work on most of Roms (any E4GT stock based ROMs - JB, ICS and GB)
My odexed and deodexed ROMs are not including this initd enabler. So, if you just want to enable init.d, then flash the zip file in here. If you are already using my tweak pack, you don't need to flash this zip file. It's already there.
How to use :
Just simply flash it and reboot (but you must follow the recovery rules that I wrote at GB27 OP. Don't complain if your phone does not boot)
How to check:
Go to /data/log/kobridge_tweak00.log file. If it's there, then now your rom is able to run init.d script.
Want to check more? Open the kobridge_tweak00.log file with text viewer and if it shows the text
"If you can see message then now you are safe to add any init.d script. It's working now "
then it confirms that you are able to run the init.d script.
This initd enabler won't delete any existing init.d files and it will enable to run other scripts if there's already some scripts in /system/etc/init.d folder.
So, this can be used on any existing system without any modification.

If this is a dumb question i apologize. I've flashed the comadose version for jellyverse and was wondering..if I flash a repack to flash mods then the stock kernel do I need to re flash the tweak pack or is it going to auto start upon re boot? Again sorry if its a dumb question

You should be good. Flashing just a kernel doesn't change system ui, if you flashed a rom then it would clear any mod or tweaks you may have installed. The rom will reset the system ui to stock, unless its a custom rom and it already has moded sys ui.

I was so disapointed first times that this powerful high end tablet never reach its potential. And missing developpend.. I was planing to sell but there is no altertane powerful than this one really.
So I decided to wait until it gets android 5... hoping there will be a good firmware by samsung with renewing all apps.
after losing hopes of development I wasnt even looking this forums for months.. today it was all randomly...
I will install the rom this wekkend. !

No problems here, try reinstalling the rom, no need for a full wipe.

Hi, thank you for posting the rom, and your hard work, I tried to install it several times, I do a full wipe before installing, after it finishes I restart and it just come back to recovery every time, Any suggestions? I would appreciate your help. Thanks

Go into Advanced Wipe, wipe Cache, Data, System, Dalvik. Install rom again. If you still get a boot loop, start over from scratch by flashing back to stock via Odin, flash TWRP, then try to flash the rom again.

I've found a GREAT PROGRAM that'll fix ALL your lag issues after rooting the S7, called Gov-Tuner.
I've tested by ODIN-ing back to stock (PE1 firmware) and my results were INCREDIBLE, though you do not have to (YMMV)!!
I'm also including Install instructions for Viper4Android Sony Beats 4.8 Universal Edition, SELinux Mode Changer, and what apps to freeze with BootManager - An XPOSED Module - below as these will also help speed up the phone AND provide even more compatibility to install most apps! (for example, SELinux MUST be set to permissive for V4A if you want to install any version OTHER THAN V4A Sony Beats 4.8 Universal Edition).
UPDATE: I just tested a "Ram Expander" type program and I had VERY different results each time I tried. However, my overall result was that it DID help - though there are costs. Read More Below!

6) Change governor ONLY IF YOU WANT - (interactive, ondemand, etc) -
I suggest selecting "INTERACTIVE" governor if it's not already running.
7) Open terminal app from phone and run GOVTUNER with the following commands (link to GovTuner Thread above)
7a) in terminal, type "su" (without quotes and hit enter)
7b) in terminal, type "govtuner" (without quotes and hit enter)

As a side note, Viper4Android requires SELinux to be set to permissive (EXCEPT Viper4Android Sony Beats v4.8 Universal Edition located here with install instructions)! Can anyone confirm that V4A's latest version worked on the S7 with SELinux set to permissive? I will be testing later on, but please let us all know if possible! Thanks!
ROEHSOFT RAM Expander
(Additional SWAP File) To Speed Up S7
Here are the install instructions -
1) Download ROEHSOFT Ram Expander from the Play Store: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.swapit.expander.de&hl=en (There is a FREE & PAID version - get paid version IF it works for you!)
2) You will now need to create, on your MICROSD card (External Storage) a 4GB partition - Please be warned, when you create a partition you can lose ALL your data. I would suggest MiniTool Partition. I'd make the first partition your storage partition (where you store pictures taken, music, etc), and the second partition as the the SWAP partition. Again, ONLY MAKE THE SWAP PARTITION 4GB! You can format the swap partition as a SWAP file system OR in ext4. Either way, it's your call. I found the SWAP file system to be a little better, but you'll need to try them out and see what works best for you.
3) Put microSD back in phone and launch ROEHSOFT's Ram Expander. Give SU permission. Click the menu at the top right and select swap location.
4) Run the app - At the bottom select the "Optimal Values".
5) It will ask you want profile you want (similar to GOVTUNER, but they have NOTHING to do with each other!). You can select Balanced, Gamers, Multitaking, etc...
6) It will ask you to select the directory to use as the swap location - MAKE SURE YOU SELECT THE CORRECT LOCATION BECAUSE it will DELETE ALL INFO ON THAT PARTITION SELECTED! BE EXTRA SURE as I'm not responsible if you select the wrong partition and lose EVERYTHING!
7) Let it do it's thing and enjoy! You'll only need to change the swappiness and possibly the cache.
7b) DO NOT SELECT PERFECT KERNEL unless you KNOW it will work!
7c) DO NOT SET TO AUTORUN until you know it works and does not cause boot loops, probs, etc..
8) ENJOY!
This really did speed up my phone (G930V - S7), and I was amazed because I didn't believe it would, HOWEVER, there is a cost. This CAN heat up your phone since it's writing to the microSD card. If you're playing games and using it a lot, your phone will heat up and the battery will be drained at an insane rate! But, the speed increase was impressive. Like everything else, it's a trade off...

You can disable ALMOST EVERY APP that is running, however... DO NOT disable ANY SYSTEM apps unless you know what you're doing.

2) L-SPEED
3) Kernel Modification Programs (if Any) - Kernel Auditor, Rom ToolBox, etc...
4) IF by some chance you have an issue after disabling an app, just launch BOOTMANAGER and re-enable the app!
5) You can also "FASTBOOT" through bootmanager where it will disable EVERY SINGLE USER APP you have. Use this if your having a problem with bootup, an app, etc... It's great for diagnostic purposes OR to really speed up your phone if/when needed!

it fixed the INSANE battery drain AND insane LAG. Bottom line, it fixes both, FOR ME! (And the other 16 phones I have installed it on for my employees!) - Full disclosure, I did install it on a 17th phone, but that phone turned out to have a physical defect, so I dont really count that one, heh!
With govtuner, I can go for at least 18 hours in performance mode profile and over a DAY in battery mode profile. (You'd select the profile that you want through GovTuner in a Terminal app on phone).
But it saved my arse, big time. BEFORE govtuner, I would only get 6-8 hours battery time if LUCKY.
Now, I get a HECK of a lot more!

I've got an S7E and S7 -- I rooted and 'tuned' the E but couldn't live with the battery drain, overheating and lag (in order of severity) so I've opted to leave my S7 unmodified but welcome a viable root solution.
Going to give your steps a try on the Edge.

Also...
L-SPEED will help in MANY WAYS to either increase or decrease your battery usage, depending on the settings you use. That will CERTAINLY help a lot to decrease battery drain, too!

FYI, I have mine set to performance mode and changed some of the settings in LSPEED to be even more performance enhancing than was suggested in the post / guide (link provided in that step to the settings suggested. Just scroll down to the LSPEED title). So my phone CAN run VERY hot. however, I've changed my phone to battery profile (within govtuner) and changed LSPEED settings to more battery conservation - taking a slight hit to performance - it ran cool and smooth and I did NOT notice ANY lag. Plus, my phones have close to 600 apps.
Oh, also... I would seriously suggest getting a program that'll allow you to stop certain apps from loading at start up. Forgot to add that to the directions. That's certainly helped as well!

Early read: performance seems on par with stock -- battery life isn't as solid as unmodified, but does appear to be much improved

Have stayed farr away from root, for lag and battery issues. Will give this a try though, thanks for putting this together!

Thanks for the guide sir. Heat is gone using interactive and balanced and lag is noticeably reduced. Great find. Out of curiosity, do govtuner tweaks set on reboot, or do I have to rerun and reset profile after I reboot the phone? Also would love to see what settings you use for most balanced performance under kernel auditor and govtuner.
Update: upon further review, this really really does work. For those of you who have held off rooting because of engboot lag/heat issues, rest assured this does a good enough job that it mitigates any problems I was having. I had followed all steps before trying this (flashing fixes v15, l speed, greenify, doze, amplify) but this is what did the trick. Thank you OP again

Govtuner SHOULD run at boot. You should only rerun the tune (or govtuner) command IF you've changed the governor OR soemthing within the kernel!

I'm sorry to hear that! Plus, that's extremely odd - did you test other governor's on all the govtuners profiles? Did you flash the v15 fix on the PF2 firmware (if you did that, it WILL cause stability issues - I can attest to that, sadly)!
I've setup on 16 S7's and they all work like a charm - no joke! I've NEVER had a phone this fast in my life, frankly!
Further, I do suggest starting from a clean install as that usually works best. PLUS, PE1 firmware seems, so far, to be the best and most stable firmware when flashing v15 fix.
I have setup on the PF2 firmware on 2 S7's, but they were not my phones, and though th owners have told me on several occasions that their phones are much faster, etc... I cannot swear to that because I do not know and have not seen them for some time. But, it did work and has helped significantly!
Anyway, I'd be happy to help you if you want... I hate to hear it didn't work for you!

That's odd... You should try changing setting from within LSPEED app to change that behavior. It may not be possible depending on the profile you're using and the governor your using with govtuner, but... I know my phone has NO LAG, literally. (I'm swearing on my grandfather's gave & my 2 uncles' gaves, too) Seriously!
You may want to TRY my settings from OP - I know they will use more battery, BUT. See if that solves and and work back from there. Maybe you can find what is causing the lag when waking up, and fix it? just a suggestion...
In any case, I am glad it worked (mostly) for you. At least I know that ALL my phones are rooted and have ZERO LAG. That's all I care about. Plus, if you get a MOPHIE case for your S7 you can have WELL OVER 24 hours of battery life/run time!
BTW, the S6 mophie cases work JUST as well as the s7 mophie case - the only down side to the S6 mophie case - they do NOT have wireless charging, the S7 mophie case does! HOWEVER, the S6 case is far superior because it fully locks the phone into place. Whereas the S7 mophie case has a frame that you snap in place around the phone - the S7 mophie case provides FAR LESS "protection" because a small drop will cause the frame to pop off instantly! - Just thought I'd let you know in case you were wondering... heh

Seeder Options
Seeder - Aggressive (This will drain battery a little faster but has given me AMAZING performance increases!) I'd suggest you try aggressive and work your way through each option to see where it takes you and how much battery / speed you gain / lose!
Cleaner (From Main Menu)
Cache Cleaner
(You can run whatever you'd like - I'd suggest running "Clean Junk Files and wipe cache partition & dalvik cache)
Cleaner Options:
Run Cleaner On Boot - Enable (You do NOT have to set it to enabled, but I prefer to clean things up at boot)
FSTRIM (From Main Menu)
FSTrin On Boot - Enabled (Again, it's not necessary to run this, but I do to keep things clean at all times and trimmed, too!) heh
Once finished, PLEASE SAVE THESE CHANGES to you can load them and not go through all this again. Furthermore, make sure you do not disable LSPEED from running at start up! (Several people have had that problem and not realized it)!
I HOPE you're phone goes so fast it flies into the future to tell you the world is going to end! heh

Awesome! What screen on time are you getting? With BT, wifi always on, location services, bunch of data apps, whether on unrooted U firmware, rooted or V firmware, I always seem to hover around 4 hours screen on time. My phone does sleep well though in all cases (90%+ deep sleep if untouched for an hour). With these settings OP, would you say your phone is now faster than stock?

Hey, real quick - take a look on the OP in this thread - there are 2 settings that are missing under the kernel tweaks in my LSPEED settings! (Those settings are a big deal, too! SORRY!!!!)
I really can't answer your question because I ONLY run my BT for a few hours and my WiFi is on all the time. My screen brightness is set to auto (but I try to keep it as low as possible).
All I can say is test EACH governor (android has a LOT of governors that it supports) with govtuner's profiles and see what combination is best for YOU. It's possible that you'll get results similar to mine, where I actually got a near doubling of the battery. (Again, it was in conjunction with LSPEED & GOVTUNER and doing LOT of testing / tweaks).
As to your other question - HECK YES, my phone is FAR FASTER than stock. In fact, when I loaded a large spreadsheet (in excel) it would take about 30-40 seconds to load at best. Now, my phone loads these spreadsheets up in about 10 seconds (or less, though that's unusual)!
So, yes - it is FAR FASTER than stock, and I'm not understating things at all (nor am i exaggerating).
Sorry I couldn't be of more help... But I am EXTREMELY confident that you'll get an improvement - I just do not know how much!

Hi @swick, thanks for the comprehensive guide. I'm excited to try it.
The only problem I had with the steps was with Universal Init.D: it was crashing when I tried to run it. No SuperSu popup, nada. I recorded a logcat to troubleshoot.
It turns out I was using JRummy's BusyBox for Android, but after I installed BusyBox from stericson, it started working, popping up a SuperSu permissions request. Must have been some missing file or something.

When you enter su govtuner in terminal what exactly are you supposed to see? Nothing comes up when I enter it

No prob, happy to help! I was bound and determined to find a fix, or make one, because of thedarn lag. Thankfully govtuner works!
On another note, I am using jrummy's busybox without trouble. you probably just needed to reinstall busybox from within the jrummy 's app again to update links? (Just a guess though)!
I'm glad its finally working for you! Make sure you test each governor & profile to see what works best for you! There are a LOT of combinations, so enjoy! heh
