[Q] Battery history details question - HTC One X

In the battery history details, the mobile network signal alternates between green and gray. What does each color stand for? I've included a screenshot so you can better understand what I'm referring too.

Bump.

It's details about how good your connection was. The greener it is the better your reception has been...

Thanks. I thought it might had something to do with whether the signal was GSM or WCDMA.

[Q] Custom LEDs?

Is this possible on the HOX or are we truly restricted to two colours?

The leds are physically only on two colors (it makes me sad) So you will have to live with that orange-green thing...
Thanks, I was hoping you'd say that there was hope for a full rainbow.

Nope I think the galaxy nexus/galaxy s3 have multicoloured led's
i thought it could do red?
My HOX has red-green.

Display rotation no function renovate 3.0

Hi @ll.
I installed renovate 3.0 with boot.IMG fastboot erase cache and wipe.
Now my hoc display will not rotate anymore. On calibrate g-sensor the bubbles are frozen, no movement.
What can I do

That's quite interesting, my One X is currently with HTC for a warranty claim. The phone is just days old and none of the gyro sensors were working, no rotation etc. The phone is totally standard other than receiving the 2 OTA updates. I actually never noticed if the phone worked before installing the updates.
Could be, but my sensor works quit good till the moment I flash the Rom. I will not go back to stock for checking if it goes because I want use it on custom rom.

It's a relatively widespread hardware issue :/ had it on my hox and went through 4 phones with different issues before claiming my money back...
Get it exchanged if you can...

Omg, today on work I had m hox in my jeans. The powerbutton should be pressed for a min. Or so. The hox vibrates for two or thre times. And now my gsensor and acceleration sensor are working again

This is a very weird issue.
Issues like this are all over the HOX forums, but they are not unique to HOX.
Check the SIII forums, their just as bad
In my opinion they are making such complex technology now, that its getting to a point where the tech itself cannot handle it and they are un fixable as they're that complex.
Whoever designed the internals of the HOX was silly, attaching it all to the screen was not a good idea, I know they had to do this to make the Uni Body, but I still think it has complicated everything.

[Q] battery thoughts?

Im on blade elite rom and stock kernel, i just want to collect thoughts about the battery, i charged to 100 percent then i played an offline game, specifically "rope escape" after playing 10-15 mins, drastically my battery jumps down to 85-87. Any thoughts? Advices? Thanks!
Thats normal that when you play a game that the battery drops...CPU need power...especially more while running games...so that should be answered...

Thanks! Im just wondering. Our device eats up battery fast. unlike other android devices. For example i played on my brpthers s3, at 100% after gaming for about 15mins, battery only drops to 95 can undervolt help? Ty in advance
HTC one x battery is crap, undervolting has minimal effect. What you can do is underclock on custom kernel, but still, crap battery proves to be à limitation

New bade and sense 5 is a battery sucker.
When I was on it I was hardly getting 2 hours screen time.
I jump back on venoms old base (ven 3.6.1) easily get over 3 hours

I disagree I managed close to 5 hours screen on blade.

Emulator questions

I'm using drastic ds emulator and I'm wondering what the best setting are for battery life, I understand that battery life is never going to be great but what is the best way to stop it dropping by 10% every 10mins. I can't play pokemon for very long haha
Sent from my HTC One X using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
you won't be able to play any games especially with this emulator that long...this emulator needs really MUCH power/performance ...so if you want to save more battery you will loose performance and the games will run really really bad...so there is no way to save more battery at keeping same performance....
Are there any other which are better for battery and performance. Although I assume the answer is no

Under clock means less performance and not always prevent the heat...especially Nintendo DS emulator needs a more powerful phone with bigger battery

I can't get it to change i have tried
There's orange red and green so i think it will in the future
It can shine in different colours but the software doesn't allow it yet.

I heard it was only 3 colours, or something around that line.
Same as m7 I thought

As far as I can see only orange/amber and green.

Thread cleaed and closed.
For the sake of argument, HTC only have a single bi-colour LED - there are no others. The 2 colours produced are Green and Orange.
