I want to increase ringtone volume.
Some people recommend using Volume +.
Will it suffer the phone by using Volume+ ?
Uhh... you mean harm the phone? No. I guess there's a chance you could really crank it up high and blow the speaker playing music but I doubt it.
Been using volume+ for several months. no harm that i know of. of course the max i placed my settings at is just +7
Used it on my Revolution and now this and it works good no issues.

Does the app really work well? I've been skeptical about it, but would like my speaker to be louder

Yeah it works good. The system audio API is exposed and available for anyone to write an app ans tweak it. Google purposely opened it for this.

Root should give us these options, it did with the HD2 at least. Until then I'm not sure.

[Q] How is your volume during calls?
Mine seems to be very low through the earpiece and even worse with the provided headset. Is it my phone or just the way it is?

Same with mine. I had HAC mode enabled on my Vibrant which helped the same issue. Enabling it (different name) on the S ii doesn't really have any effect for me.

Anyone use this? I've heard that this app greatly increases the volume coming from the speaker on some phones. Anyone try it on the nexus?
I use it and it works great, night and day difference. The dev offers it for free directly from his site

Do you have a link?
Also, don't you have to put in certain settings? What settings do you use?

I've seen that happen.
Quite annoying.

Has anyone else noticed their Note 2 making a slight pop sound every now and then?
I noticed it when the keyboard tap sounds are on, it sounds as if the speaker hisses then pops.

Many devices have this. Nobody has been able to figure it out, so we just chalk it up to normal - but still annoying.

Not sure if anyone is experiencing this issue with other devices but I am. I have a Motorola Bluetooth that works perfectly fine, yet I also have a HMDX speaker that used to work fine but now, the sound is extremely low on it. Its fine on the Motorola. But not on the HMDX. Tried on my bros phone (9900) and the Hmdx works fine... What could it be? I already tried charging it fully. Reset it... All of it. Simply sounds super low on my nexus...
Thanks and happy holidays.

So, as always, I managed to fix my problem.
Volume+, which I deleted since its worthless as an app, was conflicting with it.
In fact, once deleted, I tried it and it works perfectly well!
Go me!
