I've been dreading making this thread for a few weeks now, and I'm finally doing it....
I'm on CM9, alpha3 , 3G worked then all of a sudden stopped... YES, my mobile data is on... I'm no noob... tried factory resets... (nothing) I upgraded to alpha4 hoping that the update would refresh or fix the issue....
Any help???

By the way, *HEADS UP* I should be starting as an XDAtv Producer in the next few months... I may go under a different username, which I will not tell just yet, as things are still in the works.

Only suggestion I have would be to go back to EL29, update profile and prl then go back to CM9 Alpha 4. And what kernel are you using?
I'll try that... I'm new to the EpTouch, can I just flash over CM9 then flash back?
Talk to me like I'm clueless but have a good understanding of Android, and hacking...

What I would suggest is odin one click back to el29 using this made by sfhub. Very easy and safe this way. Once you boot into el29 rom, proceed to update prl and profile. From there, using desktop or mobile odin, odin this el26 cwm kernel. The just boot into recovery which you can then use to flash CM9 alpha 4 rom and gapps. Then reboot back into CM9 and you should be good. If 3g still doesnt work, im out of ideas lol. Let me know if you need anymore help.

Yea I'd suggest doing any backups first then odin one click when you're ready.
there's a warning from xda saying not to flash ICS kernals... I'm scared :-!

This exactly. The CM devs have to deal with both CDMA and Wimax whereas the AT&T version is basically the same as the international version.

Thanks for the clarification. I gave my OG Epic to my brother-in-law to play around with. It's no longer activated so he's just been messing around with WiFi and can use it to make calls with Google Voice via WiFi.
If it was about to get an ICS official update I was going to temporarily reclaim it. lol

That's what I'm thinking. I have an idea though. Try logging into the PlayStore through your browser and see if you can get it that way. Some things that they aren't compatible, but really they are.
