None in stock, but I'm on the back order list...
I would love to get this but $89.99 is highway robbery. Looks great though and thanks for the heads up.
Dock is in stock now. Just ordered mine. FWIW the shipping is free... Agree that $90 is steep but there are still no other POGO options for i515 that I've seen.
Now all I need is the POGO car dock...
Not that GSM version is any cheap also, but you pay for a really high quality made accessory, any original accessory cost more than aftermarket..

I don't know if you use a case or an extended (2100mah) battery but if you do, could you post whether or not they fit or if you think they would? I'm really looking forward to this thing but before dropping $90 on it I'd like know cause my phone always has the extended in and rarely ever leaves the cruzer lite tpu case. Thanks!

I agree. I ordered the GSM model from Expansys earlier this week and it arrived today. I couldn't be more pleased with its fit and finish. It also happens to be just tall enough for me to squeeze in one of my Tagstand NFC tags.
Ordered mine yesterday and shipped today... we will see!

The pogo pins are for charging and audio out... no reason to suspect this would allow for data transfer without pins analogous to D+ and D-. Samsung even lists it as being merely a charger in the spec sheet.

DIY if you just want a charging dock without audio out, it's real easy to make, made my in 2-3 hours.
Of course if you DIY, you can't throw abuse it it, it's gona break faster than the original Samsung one, but it works
Any confirmation of it working with the OEM extended battery and back?
mine will show up in about 24 hours. I have the OEM 2100ma extended battery and will post results as soon as I know them. Based on posters who bought this dock back in Feb when it was first introduced, I expect it will fit w/o issues.
Can anyone confirm whether plugging an MHL adapter to the micro-USB output on the dock will provide one with video output?
This guys says yes, but I'd like to hear from others to believe it:

The accessory I am most looking forward to for the HTC Thunderbolt is the multimedia dock.
I love my desktop dock for the Nexus One and will definitely be getting the multimedia dock when it is released.
Does anyone know the timeline for release for the dock?
I will believe it exists when I see it. IIRC, there was supposed to be a dock for the incredible too. No links for sale at VZW, Amazon, or Best Buy. With the usb on the side, this is a much needed accessory and is keeping me on the sidelines. Oh, that and root/S-OFF. And it appears the battery life is still an issue. My incredible gets me through the day, but was about 4-6 hours when it was new/stock. Hopefully the thunderbolt will only get better.

Its listed in the accessories section of the Verizon website. Well, it was listed on my corporate discount page anyway.
Not seeing it on vzw.com in accessories or via search.
Search for: thunderbolt dock
No results found for your search.
Can anyone post a screen shot of it from their corporate purchasing site? This phone has been coming soon for months, so it really doesn't make much sense not to sell the dock on the release date.

same here, local storeS lol, yes stores are outta the extended battery and never got media docks!
havent found anywhere to get the dock yet.
when I got the og droid they had combo pack with car dock and mutimedia dock all for 50 bucks hope they do that with the thunderbolt
Doubt that will happen considering the price for the Dock by itself is more than $50.
I got the car dock for free along with one of those double cases, screen protectors and cleaning wipes, and a car charger when I got my TB..
bought a dock for my og droid and barely used it tho...never used the car mount either. wont be getting a dock for the TB..
blablablablabla
So they just gave you $50 in accessories for free?

I'm wondering about the connectivity options for this Multimedia Dock - can it provide a TV out connection for example?
It's not easy to find out and I have tried to search high and low to find something about the connectivity - the name Dock implies that it also offers the possibility to hook it up to an external stereo or TV set etc.
It would be greatly appreciated if someone has a link to more information about this product.
That would be great

Based on the title and photo that looks like the Verizon version. So it does not have the gold pogo pins. It's a big piece of plastic with holes cut out so you can plug your individual cables into the phone (power/AUX).
If that's what you are looking for then go to town, otherwise you might be disappointed.

The Verizon one is confirmed to not have the pogo pins. Also look at the pics on the ebay listing. On the base of the mount there should be two connectors one for power and one for the audio but there isn't anything there.

My Nexus One accessories took weeks to months before they were available. I guess they want to give 3rd party manufacturers a chance to sell their knock offs.
The Ebay description does say, "The Vehicle Navigation Mount automatically puts your Galaxy Nexus handset in Vehicle Mode when docked." It might be legit.

Vehicle mode only means that it will activate the car dock screen, or at least that is what it has done on my other phones. This doesn't really mean that it will have the charging pins though. After reading the description of the dock on Ebay I came to the conclusion it is like the current Verizon model and does not charge or have audio hook ups. It says something to the effect of "has cut-outs in the plastic so you can still plug in your USB cable to charge the device". I have no doubt that it is legit, it's just not the legit charging/audio dock.
Legit or not legit, the GSM car dock with the 3-pin connector isn't available as of yet. The few websites that have offered them show a pre-order status so there is no way to check for sure.
The Official US Samsung Car Dock (i525) part number is:

I looked at that mount. Verizon had a universal on in the store that can work with my Defender case still on, so I went with that. It was only 19.99 plus I got 25% off.

Does anyone have any link to a good deal for the verizon "mount"? Cheapest i can see while doing random searches is about $35 which is still over priced for a glorified holder...

According to tweets from US Reseller Negri Electronics (@negrielectronic) - Samsung has cancelled the 32 GB GSM Galaxy Nexus as well as all phone accessories except for the 2000 mAh Battery and the Car charger.
This means desk dock, car dock and a couple of others have been cancelled.

probably because they're moving towards 16 GB versions only...hopefully that doesn't change the accessories available.
From what I've heard, it's because they have the Galaxy S III coming out, and want to be sure people go after it as well. Would be kinda messed up if this is the case.

At this point, it seems more realistic that we will see no new accessories.
I'm making a trip to buffalo this weekend.
I'm going to see if I can get my hands on one of those Verizon car docks and then add the pogo pins. I believe that the guy who modded his Verizon dock said that it fit the GSM version.
I wouldn't be surprised to see some aftermarket versions show up, and maybe at a cheaper price. Wishful thinking, but even that will take some time.

I'm pretty sure they have done this at least twice already.
I'm willing to bet that when the 28th hits, Expansys will report a push back until March 13th.
Ok, I am a little bit ticked off right now.
I had a Nexus One. When I bought the N1 dock, it came very nicely packaged and with its own power cable AND audio cable. Its cost felt justified.
So, since I got my Galaxy Nexus I decided to order the dock for it.
I just got the dock (after waiting a week when it was 2 day shipping), I open the package and I pull out the cheapest flimsiest packaging ever. I pull out the dock (which does feel solid), and THAT'S IT! There is NO power cable and NO audio cable included. $68.xx for a freaking dock with NO cables.
I seriously feel like I've been ripped-the-****-off here.
I know their site says no audio cable included... so whatever, but to not include the charger either... that's pretty damn ****ty in my opinion.
I just thought I would vent here since I had not seen this mentioned any where else before.
Damn. At least throw in a cable!
Sent from my SPH-D710 using Tapatalk 2
Definitely! At least the car dock came with a lighter socket charger. I guess Samsung though it wasn't necessary/wanted to cheap out since we already have one from our phones. I'm more irritated by the fact that there's no way to manually turn off the screen when docked.
I thought the same thing when I opened my dock... I also had the nexus one and the dock... At least we got a second charger with that...
At least you can seek solace in the fact that the LTE dock is, for all intensive purposes, the same exact dock... for $90 and there still aren't any cables included. I actually bought the GSM dock for mine and sanded it down to fit my more portly LTE version because the price difference is bollocks in my opinion.

Also, while this will fit under your otterbox I don't know if it will actually charge it through it. Worth the $45 though!

This looks like a damn good price tbh. $68 for a receiver and charger is cheaper than any qi combo that I know of currently.
The bonus is that it's also Qi technology so even if you change your s3 out, you should be able to get another phone that has qi tech in it or even modify that charging pad to work on other electronic devices (with some copper tape/wire)

Thats exactly what i was thinking.. The odd fact that i just so happend to find this today and apparently it just went live today i am pretty excited to snag it at this price.
But As im sure the capabilities to wirelessly charge are inevitably going to be included in future phones it isnt like this tech is likely going to be easily replaced. And it also seems like Samsung is going to abandon using our phones tech as wireless charging.. or at least thats what i gathered from thsi article..
http://www.theregister.co.uk/2013/03/11/samsung_s4/
the thing w/ samsung and wireless charging is that they really have no idea who the hell they're really going to back. Yes, Samsung co-founded A4WP, but they're also member of Qi's group as well.
To me, it just looks like they're sitting on the fence and waiting to see who will come out as the standard before going all in. I also don't think Samsung will build it into the phone itself due to its current ambivalence on the 2 standards and most likely leave it open like the s3 and note 2.
While the article talks about a4wp having a few cm of range, he also did not mention that a newer revision of Qi offers up to 4cm of range as well (last I checked).
I don't care much for too much range for wireless charging, just enough so that any non-ferrous case will charge regardless of thickness. I have a Qi set and it has so far worked with the ballisitc SG (although it Can get picky, but that's due to the fact that I also modified the charger to be at a 45 degree angle and the case's bottom lip [on the hard plastic side] curved up a little for no reason)

I was holding out for the wireless charging where i didnt need to have it directly on the base. and every few months i search around for a viable option.
So far, since my free time is limited, this seems like the best all in one solution that doesnt require me to change my case, and its a good price.

Well.. I bought mine for $47.90 with the charger and receiver, so if your willing to spend just another $2 then you can get that with less of the wait.
that's great. any link for others who might be interested?

Hm.. I like how there is radio silence as soon as there is a mention of link to provide proof.....
I wonder if the smart one works with those thin protective cases?

That was for Tenchuboy, not you.
He claimed he got a set that was cheaper and all that, so I asked a link so he can prove it. So far, complete silence from him.
OOOhhhhhhh....
i got it. i know i could make a set with the palm pixie stuff, i priced it out on amazon and total with a charging dock its like 20$... but i dont have the time to. im only actually home about 3 days a month. id rather be lazy..
Just an FYI i got my wireless charging kit from this company and it works great. Its a small device that attaches to the back of the stock battery. Its very small and it fits perfectly, very small buldge from the device but the back case fits on fine and my otterbox fits it perfectly.
the best part, it works with the stock otterbox. there were no issues with wireless charging whatsoever.
How is this one any different than any of the other wireless IQ receiver pads & chargers for the s3?

That it works with all variants, doesnt require you to change out your battery door, although they offer a solution for it, and its pad and reciever for 40$
