I wouldn't wind some of the apps apps being ported but I think a full port bow would be a waste of time because if the minimal software upgrades between tw4 and the tw on gs3

I actually snatched up a 300mB .zip of SGS3. I need some guidance, ghosty!
I'm basically having the issue that the one guy was having.. instead of properly installing it is ending up orphaned. I know nothing about libs and it's up to YOU to save me!
I've been "starboarding" it!

Screenshot it home and power simultaneously. Also what's the update say?
Are you rooted? If so don't go through with it yet and go to a root explorer and go to the root of your files and go to /cache and pull the update (update.zip) and then upload it to something. From there we can have our own magic of a ROM.

*Edit*
Now that I have time I'll fill the OP in a little more.
Thanks to the efforts of our usual crack team we've now got stock tars for the US Cellular GS2!
It's closest relative is the Sprint model, which is why I posted here.
BIG NOTE:
THIS IS NOT FOR THE EPIC 4G TOUCH (SPRINT/BOOST/VIRGIN).
There are h/w differences so please do not try to flash this on your SPH-D710.
Both builds - FI24 and FD10 - are GB builds.
You should be able to Agat's recovery enough to apply my root.
Ideally I'm looking for a R760 owner with ADB to PM me.
If that person can wipe their phone and do a few steps we can probably make one click root packages for at least FI24!
With that said, here's the link to the stock builds.
More as it is available!

shouldn't be too hard for those that know how to build from a source. Should come out pretty stable also. I'll give it a go of course, but doubt I'd be able to stay on it for too long.
So far, i personally like the way it looks and acts.. But it suppose it'll depend on performance and stability, functionality.

i'd suggest you not flash this right now, as it's clearly stated that the ROM is only for the Verizon Galaxy S III, d2vzw.
flashing a ROM from another phone could cause your device to hard brick.

Technically, it's the mounting points that differ. You could go into the updater-script and modify the mount points to match our phone.
I assume it has a while sperate kernel though? (I haven't looked). If so, that would clearly be a problem too.

If one has the issue there is a 95% chance they all have the issue. It is a VoIP thing, and is a known issue. I'm guessing since it isn't fixed yet, it has something to do with source not being released fully, to help aosp with making it function properly. Just assumptions as I haven't looked deeply into it.
