I've just updated Apex Launcher and it's removed a whole row of my App Icons from my homescreen and made the size of my Widgets bigger so I can't move them up or down to fit the row that dissapeared back in... and they haven't just been moved to another screen either.
It took me ages to get a set-up that I liked and Apex Launcher has fuxed it up!
Has this happened to anyone else?

Weird, it said it was on 5x4 for the portrait grid, so I put it up to 6x4, the icons came back but were floating too high, so I put it back down to 5x4 and it's solved itself...
I wonder why it had done that.
Thank you for your help.
you could do a backup of apex settings, then if ever it were to happen again just restore and all should be good. backup is under apex settings> backup and restore

How can I get my launcher pro like this?
I think those there Icons were from an older version that is gone since around January or so.
Too bad. o_o
Those icons are for Myn Warm 2.2
MYn Warm 2.2
Scroll through the OP and you should see stuff about Launcher Pro themed and such.
You have to purchase the pro version first of all.. But then I just go to Google images and type in Launcher pro docks and you can find tons of them. Save them to your phone somwhere.. Go to your Launcher Pro settings by hitting Menu.. Preferences.. Appearance Settings.. Then Dock Background..Choose Custom.. then browse to your background you downloaded and select it.. That's it.. custom dock background Then just add the icons to your dock that you want.. For the text your seeing in that dock you'll probably have to find the theme that provides that look but I'm sure you'll have no problems finding one that you like.. Good luck

that is launcher pro warm theme which can be downloaded HERE
hi i saw from somewhere where you can have numerous docked icons for the bottom row where normally just the 4+1 buttons.
not sure if its an app or widget or rom.
Can anyone verify?
Anything related to the dock, home screen or app drawer is due to the launcher used.
What you're referring is a scrollable dock where you can have many rows of docks when you swipe. Apex launcher has it and many others too.
Im using Nova Launcher and you can set how many apps you want in the dock, plus you can swipe the dock left and right for extra docks.
thanks for the feedbacks!
it got me started on Apex
and i've now also tried Go Launcher as well.
I'll try nova soon.
so far i liked apex more
there are so many random launchers out there its confusing!
just tried Nova.. its almost 95% identical to Apex?! lol
i guess we'll just have to choose one and stick with.
cheers.
thanks guys! this is exactly what i have also been looking for!
after trying few launchers around.
GO LAUNCHER is probably the best so far due to popularity (hence more themes), i can actually make everything look transparent and neat
But there is one really annoying point when used on ICS4 devices, which is that there is no option to disable/hide the menu bar on the bottom of the screen.
here are my screens:

"lightbox_next": "Next",

}
I downloaded ADW ex in hopes I could change the dock to look more like ICS. I downloaded the ICS icons zip and the dock bar image and put each image in their proper places.
The problem I am having is that the dock bar image is butting against the tops of the icon images and the icons seem a little spaced in from the sides of the screen (squished towards the center of the screen).

I don't want a full on theme or ICS rom at the moment. Anyone know of any settings I can tweak to fix this or is this as good as it gets?
ETA: if you copy the img link and paste it you can see what my home screen looks like at the moment. Not sure why the image link is borked
Can't see ur picture but I'd just download holo launcher from the market if u want the ics look.

Here's the screenshot that he wanted to use..........
Can't see the image but maybe if you change the icon sizes in the launcher settings your problem will be fixed

The squishing in fixed itself / happened again / fixed itself again. Must be an ADW bug. The dock background is still a problem but I have already gotten used to it. Can't expect real ICS looks outside of flashing an ICS rom I guess.
Guys mostly people who have run cm9 love trebuchet but many people use rr,aokp, etc but they can get the settings for launcher in aokp like in cm9 setting so i request devs to add launcher settings to trebuchet itself
In 0.1 version of Trebuchet the launcher settings were itself in Trebuchet which could be achieved my pressing menu but in new versions this feature has been removed
I used 0.1 Trebuvchet but it looks very old so i request to make a similar mod for new one or theme 0.1 to latest
Screens of 0.1 vs latest

You can access the settings using adb. Its a roundabout way of doing it but who need to access the settings more than once. The other way is to use another launcher Apex for example and create a shortcut to the settings for trebuchet, set what you want then uninstall apex and your set (Again a roundabout way).
mate the thing that trebuchet really needs is faster transitions ,its damn slow when compared to nova and other 3rd party launcher..the only reason for it to survive on my phone is cuz of the stock look it has
I am trying to create a custom launcher for my Nexus, and having a hard time getting a widget to go where I want it to go. In the image attached, see towards the bottom center there are 3 different sized empty looking rectangles?

I want to be able to put the date in one of those, temperature in another and battery percentage in the last one. But, even after I create the widget for these object using UCCW, I can't get the widget lined up with those boxes. It simply snaps to other areas of the screen, typically nowhere near where I want them to be. Is there a way to get them located exactly where I want? This is the first launcher I have created, so somewhat figuring things out as I go, but this one piece has me stuck.
Thanks.
Is it your own launcher? Or widgets on another launcher? I'm fairly sure you can change the grid size in most Play Store launchers. Set it to maybe 10x10 and you can drop things very precisely.

I think you are right, I am using Nova Launcher and put my own background with UCCW widget hotspots over it. I am sure I left the grid at the default in Nova, changing to 10x10 will likely work. Thanks.
I use SS-Launcher. No grid, put anything anywhere:
