Hi
It would be great if someone could make somthing like this work on Defy:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1134057
I tried my own but there is no touchpad.cfg.
Yeah i saw the same thing on the atrix forum and was wondering if I could use it on defy.. If there is no touchpad.cfg file, i guess we can try it out and if it doesn't work, we can leave it there or delete it.. Yeah?
Would be great

Hi.
This is my first post on xda forum.
I was trying Paranoid JB on my Desire. It works well but I can`t disable Hybrid mode.
I choose "Hybrid off" on Workspace settings but after rebooting all remains with no change. I try other Workspace options too, but no effect.
I donĀ“t like how some apps (GMail, System Settings) look with right column + left detail.
Can someone help me.
Thanks.
In this thread are talking about same problem.

Another issue with this rom: when activating plane mode phone reboots automatically.

I think this rom needs to improve many things. I will try it again when more stable release be published.
What other Jelly Bean rom can I install?

Hi. I'm experimenting problems with native camera on JellyTime ROM. Concretely with auto focus function that is too much blurred... I've tested with camera 360 app but same problem. I think is a kernel issue. On the other hand, the handset buttons doesn't still work. Any suggestions/fixes for these problems? Thx.

I use Sabsa Prime v8.5 ROM from here with Virtuous Kernel from here and camera work perfectly!
But this is Android 4.0.4... but with sense 4.1
Work brilliant!
P.S.
"handset buttons doesn't still work" this is known problem in all 4.xxx rom's

The problem is due to the STOCK firmware itsellf.
It leaves only 80MB for RAM after a heavy usage App.
And even floods past the ram freezing the phone.
Can not be helped. Stock firmwares are really bad.
Try AOSP builds. They provide a lot of space for RAM to fluctuate
Hi guys, what can you tell about this? Personally, I noticed that games wont keep in memory if I go to another app, like whatsapp, and then return to the game. For example, candy crush, subway surfers...if I do multitasking with paused game, when I come back its gone...

That's almost always been the case for me with android... Maybe I just have too many apps!

My gnex 4.3 is fine with multitasking... just now I check switching from Prince of Persia to whatsapp then to play store back again to the game. Resuming the game went fine.
Maybe you put your background setting limit to none.... try checking your Background process limit on Setting > Developer options
They do when you have enough resources.

You have to understand also that these apps aren't updated with 4.3 api so the apps aren't used to the way 4.3 handles the memory of keeping apps.

sucks in my opinion.. but i have only tried custom 4.2 never been on stock 4.2 soo can't say if 4.3 stock is better... for me custom rom 4.2 and kernel were far more better performance wise..
still you guys know better and more than me coz i own the phone only from the past 2mnths

True...I was with CM, then came to stock just a few days before I update, and dont remember playing a lot, so maybe stock 4.2.2 its the same...

I never use CM, I can surely says Stock 4.3 is far more better than Stock 4.2.2 performance wise... 4.1 is the fastest i think... but maybe it's because the butter first introduce to us, and we came from GB or ICS with more lag on UI.
FYI using stock from 4.1 to 4.2.2, I never had any issues on multitasking... maybe because I never had a lot of apps and games installed, IIRC I can multitasking with minimal 3 or 4 apps back and forth with no problem whatsoever
4.3 should be faster because it introduces a new frtrim (?) function that helps with memory management so the system doesn't start to crawl after a while. Frankly it should work better overall but this might be a downfall.
On my N72, I was playing Riptide 2 and it crashed during a race. Probably just a crash but could have been an emergency memory seizure. Probably not but could be.
We'll just have to see
