I know your "foreign" its okay I was just fooling with you. Too bad I didn't take french. All I know is Comme Tapelle tu? And I'm not even sure that's correct.
Anyways....
If you don't see a difference its probably not functioning correctly. If I remember correctly he removed the ability to shut off one core, he said that the kernel already shuts off one core when the screen shuts off.

He said it about generic hotplug and he disabled it.it is different thing when core shuts down in screen off and on.
If you use your phone minimally,so you may not need the second core and you can close it.but i prefer full speed all the time even scrolling around pages.
And you shouldn't talk about his english grammer, even you use you're and it's wrong, so for us,foreigners,it is normal to make mistakes

no way !!! it cant happen because once upon a time i have also asked the stupid question to samsung service center to change the board to ace when problem occured with my sgy board they said it cant work..:'( then they replaced with sgy board..
You can change your touch screen size
I think that
I tried it on a nokia 7500
If we have the ic size similr to the one in the phone then we can have bigger screen but new case is also required and we need to change build property too to set resolution

No, over 1GHz every Gio reboots. Fake
I underclock it to 672 mhz:-D
no lag
My gio works with 960mhz, buut it's unstable in 3D apps and games, same on 940mhz. I managed to overclock it to 987mhz. This is a short preview, how does my phone work on a frequency like that:

PS: It's not bricked, my friend took a photo with his LG Swift GT540, then I reinserted the battery and he sent me a photo through bluetooth
PS2: It was working for a couple of seconds, I was able to move to the launcher, then a launcher crashed (FC) and then a WSOD appeared ;P

first you need root acces
then a custom kernel
then a app that can change cpu frequencies
tutorials for root are all over XDA, evencas the kernel installation, but that has to be specific for our gio.
if done that, you can overclock
I have giopro v1.5, px kernel for gio and I use no-frills cpu for overclocking.
Mine reboots in 5 minutes on 942 just like your, I use 864.
And what are those things?(noop, smartass, ondemand, deadline, cfq, etc)

Overclocking makes your phone faster. You overclock processor, so it jumps from 800MHz to - for example - 920MHz. You just feel defference in speed
Yes it increases the speed but the battery drains really fast.big problem for someone like me..

Hi there. I've updated my GNex to 4.1.1 (GSM version) and at the very beginning everything was superb. But after some time, my GNex starts to lag. And under "lags" I mean home screen freezing.
When I'm using some programs and after that I pressing a home button and immediately switch to the next home screen - its freezing and switching to the next home screen like in the slideshow.
I've used CM10 jelly bro and AOKP nightlybuilds - and they doesnt solute my problems.
If someone had this problem and already got reed of it - can you say me the ways of solution? Thanks.
Btw,excuse my for my English. If I wrote something wrong - try to understand it,or ask me about it again.

Could be an app you have installed using a lot of memory.
Also perhaps try custom kernels, I recommend AK currently.
