Download the file then unzip it you will get
use root explorer to copy ParfieldIME.apk to system/app
copy libjni_parfieldbigime.so to system/lib
then reboot
Backup your phone just in case

Put the zip file in your sdcard, reboot to recovery and install it the same way you install the rom zip.
To use it, say you're on sms app, pull down the notification bar and choose which keyboard that you want, htc input or arabic keyboard.

Got it thx

I add .apk arabic keyboard for Ginger Bread before which shows in the keyboard setting as arabic keyboard.
Any way to remove it to add the new one ?
Now after flashing can't see the new keyboard the old Arabic keyboard still there.
---------- Post added at 11:02 PM ---------- Previous post was at 10:19 PM ----------
Nothing change after flashing since I already have Old arabic keyboard installed from .apk which I can see on phone setting as arabic keyboard.
Please any solution to add the new keyboard rather than the old one ?
I know I have been asking lots of questions.
Thank you any way

SGS II keyboard

In supersonic rom we have sgs2 keyboard, now i'm flashing jetpack mod, anyway to use sgs2 keyboard in jetpack mod?
Try extracting the apk from the supersonic rom and move it to /system/app.
Also Titanium Backup could do the job, worked with swype for me.
But whatabout lib folders?

Yup replacing AxT9IME.apk works
Here is the SGS II keyboard :

Sorry, i thought your rom has the blue icons :/
Just put the apk in /system/app.
It will automatically replace the old keyboard.
Any chance someone can post all the files needed up here? I wouldn't mind giving this a try. Thanks

Yeah sorry about that, had a senior moment after a bad day so my brain is a bit fried. Thanks
You can use this on an odexed ROM. Rename the orignal apk and odex file to .bak extension or move them to different location. COpy this apk and choose samsung key board. You might get force close, as i did but dont worry. Go to Manage Applications, Clear data and reboot the device. You should be good to go

THIS IS A BACK UP FILE FROM ONE OF MY COUNTRYMEN WHO IS CONCERN ABOUT PEOPLE WHO WANTED TO HAVE THIS ROM.
PLEASE FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS.
Instructions
1. Download and copy to your sdcard.
skin1980cwm.zip
2. Download the links below, this will be normaly saved in to your pc's download folder. Do not rename the downloaded files as it is essential for step 3.
CreedsRoomV2_NandriodBackup.zip.001
CreedsRoomV2_NandriodBackup.zip.002
CreedsRoomV2_NandriodBackup.zip.003
CreedsRoomV2_NandriodBackup.zip.004
3.then join it using hjsplit
hjsplit DOWNLOAD LINK

when joining, just click "join" and you need to browse the files. you wil just browse the first one. the program will automatically detect the other 3 files. AND DO NOT RENAME THE FILES.
4. after joining extract it. then copy it sdcard, you need to copy it at /sdcard/clockworkmod/backup/
5. go to CWM and restore the backup
cheers enjoy.
credit to my co-symbianizer
detorresrc
the reason for this thread is that I cannot upload my own powerful mod of the rom.
hope it satisfy you guys.
PROUD TO BE PINOY!
anywy. please do not rename the backups because it is essential in joining the backups at hjsplit..
the name of the backup would be CreedsRoomV2_NandriodBackup
or you can just manually create a folder under /sdcard/clockworkmod/backup/ with the back ups inside it.
thanks bro....
Or you can get the links for the rom (not a backup) from my post in general section. It's in that thread of that guy who was asking for the links for 2.1.

[recovery file] stock htc one v ics 4.0.3 - bloatware free [recovery file]

Hello there !
Glad that you are having a look at this :good:
I love HTC One V's stock ICS rom with sense 4.0, that awesome camera, battery life, stability and internet pass through feature was too good to be missed!
But the only thing that kept me away from it was the occasional lags due to those awful bloat ware n stuffs which HTC packed with this rom .
So I decided to remove all the “useless/unimportant/optional” apps from the stock ICS rom.
This worked perfectly fine for me OR should I say that I have no complaints :fingers-crossed:
I changed to Samsung Galaxy Advance recently, I thought of sharing this with my fellow mates in the One V forum as a parting gift to anyone looking for this (more like a pay back to the help this forum has given me).
A big thanks to Lloir and Maxwen, for welcoming me into this forum when I was a newbie (still am, somewhat … LOL). These guys are real champions! :victory:
Once again, I want to make it clear that it is 100% stock ROM with no modifications what so ever, other than the removed bloat ware!
I couple it with the Titanium Kiss Kernel by Maxwen (Latest Version)
Find it here : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1765687
Also this recovery file works ONLY using TWRP Recovery by rukin5197
Find it here (if you are not already running on TWRP) : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1721749&highlight=twrp
Lastly … I am from India, and obviously this nandroid backup it taken from the “Asia-India” version of HTC ONE V Primo U (GSM version) phone.
So I’m not sure/ignorant whether this might work for other countries or not.
I would be glad if it becomes useful to you guys.

[GUIDE] Cook your own Stock-based Sense ROM with Android Kitchen from RUU.

Since I haven't seen a guide on how to do this in places, I wanted to make one so people can make their own sense ROMs =D
Now on to the guide!!
First, download Android Kitchen from here and set it up for whichever operating system you're using (I'n on linux so I won't be able to help Windows and OS X users set it up)
Once you're done and have set it up, download your RUU that you want to base your ROM off if from here - http://www.androidruu.com/?developer=Primo
After downloading the RUU, follow this guide on extracting ROM.zip from an RUU. If you're on Linux, use this tool to extract it - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=39375422#post39375422
Now that you have you're ROM.zip, you'll need to copy it to the "original_update" folder in the Android Kitchen. After copying it their, create a working folder for Android Kitchen. Android Kitchen will now unpackage the ROM.zip and create a working folder with the RUU's contents in it.
Now you can apply your selected tweaks for your ROM!
Once you've applied your selected tweaks in the kitchen, go into "Advanced Options" and select "Convert update-script or updater-script". Enter the number for the option to convert to "Edify" format, otherwise your ROM will not work!! After doing this, you can package edit the updater-script in the working folder so that it flashes to the One V (You can ask for help with that below, don't hesitate!)
Now, package your ROM and use mode 1. Zipalign and make sure to sign the zip.
If you've finished this and haven't encountered any errors, congratulations on making your own sense ROM! You can now edit and mod the ROM for yourself =D
If you encounter any errors, just ask about them! =D
