What happens is that everytime i try to add a photo frame widget a gray screen appears on top of my picture. I've tried with other widgets and it happens also.
Has this happened to anyone else?
AOKP B36?
.jpg?
I can confirm this glitch.
Same will happen if you attempt to set it as a wallpaper.
Seems to be random images...not all.
The team knows of it, but haven't experienced it so may or may not fix by the next build.
Im running liquid smooth 1.4 =S

Has anyone else noticed that Google maps is constantly open in the task switcher. I close it. And even force close it. And its back open in a minute or so??

what rom are you running. I've only noticed this with tranquil ice and gummy. However, in checking battery usage, maps doesn't show up

ive noticed it in bixie rom and now I am using AOKP. and its the same if i go into app management and kill it 2-3 times when its there it seems to solve the problem. but as you say its not in battery stats
Related to one of the options when you initially set up the phone? Sending location based data to Google for one reason or another perhaps?
I noticed it a couple of times but doesn't seem to be happening these days... Running latest Bigxie build aka Apex 1.0.0...
I'm running on 4.01 stock and sometimes it's open and sometimes its not! Pretty annoying if you ask me...

Hi all,
Sometimes when I'm in an app and go back to the home screen, my wallpaper will scale down and show black bars up top and at the bottom (letterbox). Only fix is restarting. Even re applying the wallpaper doesn't help.
Any one else having this issue? Running the 4.0.4 ROM from the dev section.

Bump.
Just happened again after opening exDialer and going back to home.
Would love it if somebody could give me a pointer as to how to troubleshoot this. There are no wallpaper setting apps installed, FYI. Just the stock gallery.
Here's a screenshot of before and after. You'll notice the top and bottom letterboxes in the after pic. Just randomly happens, and only a restart fixes it.
I've never experienced this issue. Maybe its an ADW Launcher bug? Does this happen with the stock launcher?
Never had the stock launcher on long enough to tell, hah. Guess I'll try it for a day.

It's an adw ex thing. I installed apex launcher beta, which is a lot better and faster on ics imo, and the issue went away.

Bumping this, as I recently started having the same issue on Nova Launcher. Its doing this on every ROM I try. Any ideas?
Don't know if it's just me but tried the new Instagram app I love it except I can't upload pics from my gallery if i try I get a alert saying android process stopped or something.. My setup is the cm9 alpha 2 btw. Anyone else have this happen?

Works fine for me on Codename. Have not had a single problem with it.
think its a size issue cause it either f/c or says size too small ...
mine will fc whenever I go into the actual picture taking part of the app. The social parts of the app work perfect though. Running the goodness rom

I am having the same issue. When I try to take a pic, it force closes. I am running MIJJAHZ rom. Any ideas?

I have CM9 alpha 2 with the FC02 kernel and I can take the pictures fine. Where I run into problems is if I am listening to music or podcasts and snap a picture, Instagram mutes all audio until I force close it and then all my sound comes back. I'm pretty sure it is muting it for the shutter sound and then won't un-mute so it has to be killed. Anybody else getting this? Any possible fixes or workarounds?

In CM9 alpha 2 you have to keep Advanced Camera on or it will crash after you take a photo and accept it.
I actually just wiped my phone and it works fine now! Made a backup of my important apps first though : )

Sounds like the issue lies with people on ICS? I've been experiencing the same thing with calkulin's 1.3a rom.
Latest update fixed it for me!

The problem is when viewing flash video in full screen from the browser, the screen automatically shuts off after a period of time. This never used to be an issue with ICS. I have tried to take steps to fix the problem however I have been unsuccessful.Does anyone have a solution to this annoying problem? Cheers

Well I didn't had any problems like that, but found flash to be unstable, which is because Adobe stopped mobile flash and jelly bean is unsupported

This happened on my mytouch 4g slide. Its a flash issue. This doesn't happen to me on my gnex I'm using com.adobe.flashplayer-111115012.apk on jelly Bean

Is that the latest version of Flash Player or an older version which has been tweaked to make flash work better?

Did you try different browsers. I have a similar problem when using XScope, the screen goes totally dark when switching to full screen.
This doesn't happen with the default browser.

I'm having this same issue on a galaxy s3 running jelly bean, I didn't have this issue when running ics. Did you ever find a fix?
Hey guys, I'm currently on rasbeanjelly with trinity kernel. Whenever I connect to my WiFi, it connects, but when loading anything it just hangs. Sometimes it would load for a little bit then it hangs again. Really annoying. I was on mincov7 before this, hoping that it was a ROM issue but the problem carried over to rasbeanjelly. Could it be a hardware issue? Anyone else experiencing this?? Help is appreciated!!

If you had same problem on both custom ROMs maybe you should try flash google factory image (stock) to see if problem still persist. If so, then it's a hardware fault

Yea this happens to me as well sometimes on stock android.
It seems it maybe possible that it could be a software glitch.........
