Goodie cuz I just downloaded the whole /system/app from the leaked firmware. But none of the apps will install time to hack em.

Looking forward to seeing how this progresses!!
For those trying to get s-voice running, edit your build.prop to show this:
ro.product.model=GT-I9300
ro.product.brand=samsung
I am looking forward to a few of them like S Memo, not really interested in S Voice, but I'm glad others are having fun with it. I'm not sure of the consequences of editing my build.prop...

S-Voice isnt even that great... and now samsung has blocked all other phones from using it... pretty soon they will use other tactics... im pretty sure they know somethings up if a bunch of "GT-I9300's"(which hasnt been released yet) are using an application they have to do something better. Im looking foward to the launcher... i even have the app... but it wont install
I am working a S3 port, touchwiz is a pain in the ass to port.
Im using a custom build.prop so s-voice and all the other **** is working fine.

Awesome I'd run the newer ics touchwiz. I don't think it is that bad. But I didn't like it as my only option.

Okay well check out the screen shot I took, there's a big gap between the apps and the nav. Also you need permission (thinking root) to add widgets, and but from there and on I love it. Help!

S voice is not working.
I have root access, busy box, and it is just giving me network error and I can't say hi galaxy to it when it does kinda work. Can anyone help???
I have S memo and Super Video ported on my Verizon Galaxy Nexus. If this gets fixed or someone helps me solve this problem, I'll post a dropbox link for the apps.

This thread should have some content, if no new threads are to be created. There has been questions on how to install S-Memo, but no answers. The generic thread on porting S3 has more than enough info http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1662255

Ok guys so here it is, after a lot of trying to figure things out and a lot of testing, I think I've got a perfect gmail app. I have to give credit to fatsix, B-boy, and MM for their work on this apk. I have taken what they started and continued the modding. If you notice anything off let me know and I'll try to fix it. Although, my knowledge is still rather limited compared to some others on here. In any case, the screen shots are below (sorry in advance for blacking out most of my info):

INSTRUCTIONS:
If you are running a custom ROM, install the .zip below in CWM then reboot. Once rebooted the gmail app will force close, so simply go to your apps list and delete data and it should work fine!
As always, I am not responsible for anything that happens to your phone and make sure you make a back up!
If you like what you see, then please use the thanks button, then just flash this .zip in CWM and you should be good to go!

This is strange. I'm running on a stock rooted LTE 4.0.2 build and it works with no errors. Perhaps someone with more experience can shed some more light as to what the issue may be? I'm wondering if one of you guys give me your framework-res.apk and then I decompile and recompile the app using your framework if it will work? Can some of the more experienced xda-ers shed some light on this?

I'll just leave this here: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/81287587/SMemo/SMemo.zip
This is the SMemo.apk, SMemoProvider.apk, and the related odex files. Enjoy.
I couldn't get SMemo to work with my E4GT on CM9 a4. The APK may need to be modified for our DPI or something. I'm going to poke around and see if I can't figure it out.
UPDATE: After poking around, I have found that the SMemo.apk uses the TW libraries, so those of us on AOSP ROMs are SOL when it comes to using the SMemo app. Anyone on a 4.0.4 TW ROM should be able to run SMemo by pushing the apk and the SMemoProvider apk to /system/app.
Hey guys,
I have been working on a Galaxy SIII port alot of time and in this thread I will show you the progress I make + photo's etc just to keep you updated.
How am i doing this?
-Use the latest stock Galaxy SIII rom
-Latest CM9 nightly build for libraries, vendors etc..
-Modified CM9 kernel with TouchWiz parts (bootclasspaths, mounts, etc), I compile a new kernel daily.
-Use my brains alot
I will post in this thread daily with answers and that kind of shizzle.
What's working so far?:
- Screen
- Touch
- Almost no FC's
- HW Acceleration
- Multi-language
- Galaxy S III accuweather widget
- Boot animation
- Shutdown animation
- SNote!!
I will keep you updated with more news and photo's soon =)
