It will work but since the standard came out after the phone went into production, you probably aren't going to utilize the full speed.

Like Right now I have a Sandisk 32GB class 6 and it works pretty fast...
I just thought that it might work faster with that memory?
What you guys suggest me?
Is it worth it to buy it? Should I buy it or should I just keep the class 6 I have?

What's the price difference?
If you do a lot of writing, it would be worth the upgrade in going up the class grade.
If you are writing once and forgetting about it, you don't need a fast class rating because all that means is write speed and not read speed. Just about any card reads about as fast as each other, or similarly enough to not make a big difference.

And today I saw a video of a guy putting a 64GB Sandisk to his SGS2 and it was working.... the phone actually read the card.....
How is this possible????
Cuz according to GSMarena.com SGS2 can use only up to 32GB ???
So how's this possible???

64GB cards didn't exist when the phone was spec'ed out so they listed the current max at the time, 32gb. I don't see why 64gb cards wouldn't work, as the interface didn't change too much when going to the SDXC specs.
128gb would probably work too if they made those.. but that's my guess.
UHS-1 is also one of the 'new' standards. It's an extension of the SDHC 3.01 specs.

Meh, That's a lot of dough for one card.
I got my 32gx10 from Amazon for around 30$.
My 16gx10 backup card from Amazon for around 20$.
My 8gx10 SOL backup was 25$ but that was awhile ago.
None of mine are SDXC, anybody have a reasonable grasp on what kind of improvement SDXC would offer?
I sure do love memory.
I don't really need anything that fast. I'm thinking about stocking up on a couple these:
for backups and stuff
http://www.amazon.com/SanDisk-micro...6?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1336448934&sr=1-6
for daily use
http://www.amazon.com/Samsung-Micro...5?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1336448934&sr=1-5
You should look into the samsung ones they claim that its waterproof and shock proof. I bought my 32gb 10x for 28.99 to go along with a new pentax so far so good

SDXC allows for much faster data transfer when used with the appropriate devices. For our phones and anything that cannot handle them yet, they will just be much higher capacity and have about the same class 10 speeds of a normal micro sd card.

Yeah, it looks like SanDisk has switched over to labeling their Class 2 cards (which always performed at Class 4+ level) as Class 4, and also their Class 6 cards as Class 10 now. There still are only two tiers of SanDisk cards.
So now SanDisk cards are rated approximately correctly according to the standards, combating the Class inflation in advertising which has seemed to occur in other manufacturer's cards, while still cashing in on the general consensus that up to this point, SanDisk cards have always performed above spec. Better than buying a Class 4 which performs at Class 2 levels, but not as good as the little thrill of buying a SanDisk Class 2 and finding that it smokes the Class 6 from another manufacturer you already had.

Thanks for the clarification
I'm telling everyone everywhere I go these next two things:
Double your 4g speeds without installing anything, will post how if anyone wants to know...
And...
Ever have to factory reset due to a "whoops!"? Hijack the Sprint Installer and fill it with your must have apps so you never have to do a tedious apps reinstall again!
The preloader has 300M of space.. and I just tested a factory reset. Sure enough my apps are loaded in.
Why waste?

Anyone have a UHS-Class 1 sd?

I know the card would work, just curious how much of a difference it makes. I have read many things online, and all seem positive. Not that the phone needs to perform any better.
Pretty much everyone I have seen is getting one of those. I think you just have to make sure you format it a certain way (don't remember right off the top of my head) to avoid any headaches. I ordered a 64gb one off amazon last night for 38 bucks.
I believe it's the data transfer speed and because you're mainly using it for music, apps and photos, it should be great. The higher class is for dslr photography.

I bought the 64GB one off Amazon a few weeks back. Came formatted exfat out of the box. I used a card reader to load it with movies and media. No problems so far in my device, HD videos record perfectly.

Different sd cards and classes

I've been trying to buy some sd cards for my phone and my sisters and I've seen some say class 4 class 10 etc... So what's the difference between classes? I've noticed that the higher the class the higher the price is it just quality or what?

Its been generalized already basically, But I would avoid Class 2 & 4. If you can get 6 or 10, The bigger the card or if you know there will be more photos, movies, etc on it 10 will be the way to go. I've had ever C2/4 Die on me within 3 years from adata, & sandisk awkwardly.
I got a Samsung class 10 on ebay actually in march for 14 bucks....so prices are going down (I guess we all have same idea of looking on ebay first for deals...)

Samsung vs sandisk

Which micro sd card do you recommend I am looking to get 32gb or 16gb , just notbsure which to get since they have different speeds and classes. Any help would be appreciated

If you have a micro center nearby, just get their store branded one. I paid 19.99 for a 32gb class 10 with a walk in exchange / lifetime warranty. Best store in the world lol.
Works great, speed as advertised, and best of all its an actual brick and mortar location. Name branded ones cost twice as much and have like a 1 yr warranty. Easy choice if you ask me

I have a 32gb Samsung class 6 and a 64gb Sandisk class 10, both are the ush1 or whatever it is. The Samsung one is so much faster! And not that the 64 had more stuff on it, Samsung was fastest even when it was packed full of stuff. I personally am not pleased with the Sandisk performance.

Best 32gig Class 10 Micro SD

Can anyone recommend me a 32gig micro sd card? I recently purchase this POS http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIA26X0PJ1516 from newegg and I'm pissed off at how bad it is. It is advertised with amazing write and read speeds but is nothing near that! It maxes out around 6.6 MB write and 10MB Read speed, WTF. I'm in the process right now for getting a refund and want to get a reliable SD that does not lie about it's speeds. Thanks
Go for the sandisk one. Or if speed is what you want go for there extreme 16 or 32 GB more expensive but boss overall

Does it really matter on the class, I have always been confused by that.
Yeah as each class gets higher, it means the read and write speeds get faster. Class 2 is the lowest. Class 10 is the fastest. And there's
UHS 1 which is faster then class 10

Yeah it has to do with something relating to 32gb. anything above 32gb has to be formatted diffrrently? I can't remember the exact details about it.
