Cool, but asphalt 6 doesn't even download cuz it's not optimized for our device. I downloaded Need for speed and it's free but it's just a trial,

That's odd. Asphalt 6 installed fine for me. But NFS was a trial :-(

I posted about the Samsung App store and the free asphalt 6 version being offered about a month ago. Specifically how we can't download asphalt 6, so if you've figured out how to DL that specific title please share the details.

what stock apk do you mean? if you mean the Samsung app store app then the one I posted is stock pulled from original galaxy s 2.

So far I've been able to download 2 out of three apps. The only I had a problem with was Asphalt 6. Thanks for posting.

downloaded to pc but it won't download to the S2
its always download unsuccessful. I even "logged in" first with the browser thinking thats why it did not work.
sending the link download fails. using the qrcode download fails. is it something silly stupid I am doing wrong? (jacking usb now to install)

Thanks Jase, I installed the APK and it works perfectly. Looks like a few good games, others seem like trials. One BIG issue I have with the app, is that it does not seem to show permissions the apps want as you instal them, so you never know. NOT a plus.

When the app is about to be installed, there are permissions being shown. Unfortunately... The permissions down seem to be EVERY SINGLE THING THAT COULD BE ASKED FOR. I don't understand why a ns trial game has to read my text messages, but whatever.
Is there any chance we can get a list if full games on this list? I'm tired of downloading something just for it to be a 3 minute trial.

I'm also having trouble just getting the apk file to download. Everytime I try it just says download unsuccessful. Even tried the QR code and that was also unsuccessful.
I don't have internet at my house right now so i'm not able to download the file to my PC. My phone is rooted and I do have tethering but its really not useful for me right now cuz where I live i'm lucky if I ever get 2 bars on my signal. So without a good signal its hard to tether..
So its there another way for me to be able to download this apk??

All downloads went through, but this app kills my battery...i was wondering what kills my battery so quick all of a sudden and i believe this app was involved. So i removed it, and battery is well

I guess it doesn't work on third party roms?

Try using Rom toolbox pro or autostarts to turn it off at boot.

i think it has to do with cm and aosp versions try ics, jb, ginger. your not missing much.. some of the cool cartoon apps they have are in french only.. its a tease and very short of evetday apps/games

the samsung digital clock is beautiful but it lacks one feature: on click it should start the alarm application and it doesn't. Is it possible to add this feature to this amazing widget?

Hi mate, it's a system app so use a root explorer to copy and paste in system/app directory and reboot your phone.

Aha, makes sense. I read "install like a normal .apk" so I figured root wasn't needed. My Galaxy Tab is rooted, my S II is not

Lol yes I read that which confused me a little bit also? However I didn't even try and doing it via route explorer worked a treat. The blue text looks loads better than the green. Ahh I see you have a trusty old galaxy tab as well like me then!

I wouldn't say "old", it's the 7.0 Plus model the came out in November

The original Samsung digital clock stopped telling the time correctly so i have installed this one instead, looks good thanks.

Perhaps many have heard about the new version of the operating system Android 4.2. Now for our camera phone application is available in this version of the operating system.
This application includes not only the camera, but the gallery to view images. From my own opinion I will say that this is much more responsive arcade version than the previous one and has many more features.
FEATURES:​
Now you have set the camera "on a finger." To change the brightness, white balance, picture size, or turn on the flash, just swipe your finger across the screen, and select the desired item.
DISADVANTAGES:​
This new version of the camera is renowned panorama feature, but alas, our phones it does not work. Talk about the video while it will not, because it has not yet recovered, but there is hope)
CONCLUSION:​
From all the above it can be summed up that the camera and the gallery is much faster than the previous, but it still does not work panoramic photography and video mode.

1. Download the archive. (see link below)
2. Copy it to a memory card (not unpacking)
3. Set the archive through CWM Recovery or other (I think everyone knows how to do it, once the firmware could put )
4. Start the phone and use it.

It works only on JB or ICS (Android 4+). Must be root!

Doesn't work on CM10. I could install it, but when I launch the camera the basic app is being launched. And there's no other app anywhere.

I use the same CM10, and I have enough free space on my phone. Maybe I'm gonna try delete some stuff too.

Can we atleast view the videos recorded using this app through mx player or the video doesn't work at all?

How about the keyboard what's in this package? Did anyone manage to get it working?

I don't have the keyboard either, and I tried to flash another 4.2 keyboard zip and that also didn't work. I guess we'll have to wait.

UM...
Some apks have parse error and half the apks force close. If you could look into that thank you. Clock widget working but clock has FCs.

A new Sony Xperia home launcher has leaked. It updates the stock home launcher from version 4.0.3.A.0.9 (at least on our Xperia S) to version 5.1.S.0.0. Changes include a new graphic for the dock at the bottom of the handset, as well as for the app drawer. It also moves the tray options to the left and includes a search bar to the right. We also now get the option to have a maximum of seven home screens, instead of five.
There is also a new way to install widgets, apps, wallpapers and themes. This comes up when you long press an empty space on the home screen. When you click to install a new theme, wallpaper etc you will see the options for these at the bottom of the handset. Another subtle change we noticed is a new screen transition when moving from one home screen to the next.

Since it is replacing a system app, i wouldn't know how to. Maybe someone can think of an easy workaround, let's wait and see!

It works on non rooted devices, I am using it just now on my XS, just install as normal .apk

no, just download, and install it. It will replace the current version

No need, it's apk so you can install it like any other app would.

Google promised us last year that we can download offline maps for Google maps,is it the case now with this new version?

Why'd you guys need to push it. I s noticed by market there was an update. I guess some people were getting it later

Don't forget you lose off line maps, if that is important to you don't update!

The ability to save offline maps has been part of maps for quite some time now. Look in settings under offline & cache I believe

Except it doesn't exist in v7.0.0.

If i try vocal search, the app crashes.
Anybody have this issue?

type in "ok maps" and it will preload the displayed area. it dont seem to be able to cache as much as the old version does

It was available for most regions for awhile, then an update removed it again for tons of regions. I mean wtf man Google? What's the point of showing me the "Download this area" button if you won't let me click it.

Is it just me or is performance in the new version quite sluggish? On the plus side, I really like how they finally fully integrated and updated the Navigation UI.
