there is already another thread about this in the theme & apps section
its basically vlingo with a new theme
not in the one x forum their isnt, im letting all one x users know that this fantastix app is now available
Wasn't impressed by this vlingo themed app. Thought Samsung would have created their own.
Flipboard on the other hand works perfectly on the one x, from the s3 extract

vlingo is horrible! Kills the battery like crazy and often dials the wrong people (sometimes with hilarious consequences).
Tried it I don't like it. I didn't like suri on my 4s only thing I used it for is texting when driving. But I can already do that on my hox

I wouldn't bother - android central stated it doesn't work well on the SGS3 that they tested in London.
Also,
http://www.androidpolice.com/2012/05/20/full-hands-on-with-samsungs-s-voice-for-the-galaxy-s-iii/
To summarize, its voice recognition is utter rubbish & they hope it's because it's testing on a galaxy nexus.
Doubt it very much, as Android central stated the same when testing on the sgs3.
Sent from my HTC One X using Tapatalk 2
It keeps saying "Network error. Please try again" via wifi connection. Any idea?
If you look at the apps signature, it's made by Vlingo. That's not necessarily bad as Vlingo's a decent app but it's certainly not some new earth shattering Siri fighter as Samsung's portraying it. I tried it but it doesn't work over BT which is the only place I'd use it. Hopefully Vlingo will update their stock app so it works better on the One X.

Hi,
Same here, but with the fix of BlackElvis79, it's working now.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1664785
I'm on CoreDroid ONE X V3.0.
Not a really great app...
So if this is vlingo in a new suit is it really worth going through all this trouble to get the Samsung version working on HOX? Why not just install vlingo from the market?
i searched and found this apk file of S-Voice that works without manipulating anything.
/?fp04n29phdzeram "add this after mediafire dot com.. i cannot add a link unless i have 8 posts -__-"
i installed it on my One X and it worked when the one here didn't!
Doesn't work anymore, Samsung got Vlingo to cut out all devices trying to access the network unless it's an SGS3 so don't bother.

Hi all, to those that use the skygo app. It is unsupported atm. Just as I got the hang of using a UK VPN to get if working on my sg2 as well

Just tested with my stock rom and everything works good until it reaches the part where I click watch and then it just gets stuck at Loading and then after about 30 seconds it restarts the Skygo app.
This is using the the provided on the link on page 1
Sky have always been incredibly paranoid about data encryption, and they have a lot riding on it with the actual owners of the content they provide. Limiting support to a handful of Gingerbread-based phones that are big sellers (S2, Desire, etc) and trying their hardest to prevent it running on any rooted Android device ensures they won't end up providing free Sky Sports to Orange customers who stick the APK on a rooted Google TV and show football in a pub - or worse, manage to decrypt the stream and throw access open to the wider world.
It sucks, but I can understand the slow rollout. When ICS numbers get above the current 3%, and when the One X proves to be a big seller over the next few months, I'm sure we'll be supported.
Just on this a thought I had is sky will never release it for one x.reason being they all ready block it working with HDMI out,but I don't see how they could block WiFi out to the media link so far that reason is be suprised if they updated it for the one x

Hey guys,
I've recently discovered a loop hole in the Sense 4 lockscreen on the One X. It would be greatly appreciated if you bring awareness to this issue. Unfortunately, since this is my first post, I am unable to include any links to the YouTube video I have made. Hopefully I can post it as a reply to this thread because its very interesting.
I think I'm the only one that knows about this. So please comment if you have this issue too.
I'm guessing you mean where you can get the ICS entry screen on the security lock?

Haha small world! I have the Galaxy Nexus and it was my brothers One X. He always tells me to find a way to disable Sense or find a ROM that uses the Stock ICS. He believes that native ICS on the One X would be the best.

Until you get enough posts to include links, you can always get around that by putting spaces in the URL, which people can then remove.

I was going to get the Nexus, but then the One X sorta got dragged into the equation and it was purely because of the displays that I went for the One X. I probably would have gone for the One S were it non-pentile. I don't care what you say, the One X is pure gorgeous compared to the S3

I'd do a search for you, but I'm using my phone at the moment not a computer and I'm extremely busy. If you browse the development section of the One X forums I know for a fact there is a One X Vanilla ROM. Don't bother searching, just go OneX>Development and browse around those top threads, plenty of other ROM's there too. It'll likely be on page 1 or 2.

I agree, Sense 3 was too heavy, Sense 3.5 was a fail and despite being created in tandem with Sense 4, Sense 3.6 really doesn't improve much.
Sense 4, different story. Still unstable, but give it a few months
Samsung's are only fast because they have **** software on then, that's an opinion not a fact. Touchwiz offers NO functionality more than the Stock Vanilla launcher, so why bother?

The one thing I long for on my phone is the time when the phone is locked. Old devices used to do it, like old Nokia's and the Lumia Symbian devices
For me, Sense improves the overall experience. I see Sense as an OS. Really it is Sense featuring Android, not Android featuring Sense, but that just shows how dedicated to improving and innovating software HTC are, now optimization is the key!
Phones need something like Windows Update, exploits and problems are found all the time, but fixes are never rolled out individually unless they are extremely crucial.

Thanks for pointing the space technique out bro, I was aware of it but could be bothered spacing it as jaaystott has already provided the link.lol
I've noticed a lot bugs mostly with the stock browser which I hardly use (mostly using Chrome), and I think HTC should invest a little more time on it as it's their flag-ship, but I'm also disappointed with how the One S beats the One X in all benchmarks. tsk tsk tsk....
Hopefully a well built ROM (Vanilla ICS) will come along and will get rid of all the heavy stuff in HTC Sense and will give a bit of an extra boost performance wise.

I was thinking this. But I doubt it, as that version was made for the iPad only, so dont think it was ported to Android through the S3.
BUT.... if they make a version for android tablets, then i'm sure someone could port it to work with our HOX.
