Has anyone found the Modded Adobe Flash Library file for the newest Market Version (10.1.106.16) yet?
I heard it was floating around unrevoked's IRC channel, but I have yet to see it pop up.
Patiently waiting in the mean time.

Here you go. All packaged up with Hulu. Make sure you update Adobe in the market first.
how about a flash file modified for hulu? the app's there but it doesnt seem to work because of flash

You don't need a modified flash file. The zip file attached above contains everything you need. Pay attention to the last sentence in the post. You NEED to download the latest version of Flash Player from the marketplace. After you do that install the file you downloaded above from recovery.

Doesn't work. I updated Adobe in the market, then downloaded this .zip and installed it via recovery and now I get "Hulu is not supported on your platform".

Check your path for the libflashplayer.so file.
Is it data/data/com.adobe.flashplayer/lib?
You could always try ripping the .so file out of the zip and just pushing it with root explorer or adb.
I tried doesn't work for me either... I tried doing it both ways.

Root explorer method I mentioned above worked for me. I'll try and see if I can get the update script working.
I tried the root explorer way it didn't work for me still get the error.
Ok it works it just doesn't survive a reboot.

Working for me even after a reboot. Wonder if it's ROM related? Are you running an AOSP? Anyway, I'll tinker with it a bit more and see if I have any luck.
Yep I'm on aosp 2.3.2. Either way thanks I can deal with doing it manually.

Is there anyway to get a web browser onto the kindle that has the capability to handle web-sockets?
I don't care if i have to root the device and install new OS system - would like to keep the Android setup if possible?
Thanks much!

I assume you're using stock, since you weren't clear about that part. You may have to get gapps to get it from the Play Store, unless you're able to sideload it.

Ok - correct me if i'm wrong here...
My android Kindle fire OS is likely 2.3.4 which is the GAPPS package I should download. It seems that goo.im is down - is there any other place to get this package?
Also do I need to root my kindle first as you are correct I'm using a stock version.
Thanks!

It's working just fine for me. If you're still unable to connect to it, I can just reupload the gapps you need to a filehost.

If you look up Flipboard in your playstore, you wont find it because its not available for Tablets yet, sure you can go and change the build.prop file and then get it, but there is another way;
Instructions:
Download the Beta Version of Fliboard from here
Then, Install it as any other normal APK, run the app and it will itself tell you to update to latest version, and voila...
(sorry if this has been posted before)
Nice find!! Thanks

I just tried to flash cerberus.zip with the temporary CWM but it says: Error status 255
I've searched info and it could be because the .zip is prepared for ARM. I made some changes to the file following a tutorial and CWM now says that the installation is OK but when I turn on the phone I don't have the apk installed.
Any help?

If its just an apk you can use a root file explorer to put the apk in your system folder or wherever it needs to go. Just remember to set permissions too.

This way if your phone is stolen and the thief reverts your phone to factory status Cerberus should stay installed.

Yep, but it is harder for the thief to erase the apk
I've just uploaded the 4.4 flashable version for cerberus disguised (system framework named version).
You can download it from here: a d f. l y/1o5juF
After flashed it, download the latest version of disguised version from cerberusapp.com, download it from here: a d f. l y/1o5k0M

You said you managed to uninstall the beta but the play store installed it again?

App not installed usually means there is already an app with that package name installed, check to see you haven't still got another version of SC installed
