So every time I flash a new custom firmware like PA, slim bean, etc. my home button stops functioning. I cant enable it in any way. The rom will work perfectly but the home button wont. If i reflash it to stock the home button works just fine. The This has happened with both turbo and lupus kernels. I have no idea what the problem could be. any ideas?
I have no idea but on JB you can enable the nav bar and just use it for the home key if you can't find a solutions

Flash new ftf and then try again. If you are neo l user it might be a problem. Never h happened to me though. It happened once on my friend neo v after I've flashed xperia play rom on his phone, it was smooth though ^^

I have the same thing. It started happening after I tried going to ICS and jb ROMs. Any GB didn't have it but even if I have a GB ROM now it does it. Its a weird issue.

Never happened to me.
Flash ftf
Flash kernel
Flash ROM
Restore with TB
That's the fix for most of the issues.

No thanks. I've reflashed too much already. What's weird is home worked for the first few reboots, but now again its dead. I'm on a job ROM so I have on screen buttons. I was just "reporting" that its not an isolated incident.

Dont think. I think froyo is too old. Thats why i no more use sense based roms.

I think that not the age is problem. With cm6 it worked well. I think there is some hole in system scripts or build.prop. i can't find anything which match to sense );

True. Same way gb sense would be better than cm9. But alot of things in froyo ( related to software ) such as google sync, contacts, dialer apks and alot.
Cyanogen offers way too much.
Anyways gb vs froyo, definitely gingerbread.

On this page link change the end nos to 2122258 (and phoof..)
lazy to type whole link
cheers
I am not sure if that's possible because I wanted the same) I asked some devs but nobody knew if it's possible :/
As far as I can remember it needs to be implemented at a rom/system level. It involves changing how the rom interacts with the volume buttons. The rom I am on offers volume to change song, but only when the screen is off. So its possible on all sense roms, you just need to know where to look. Unfortunately I don't remember

hi there,
Recently i flashed custom GB rom and found out my wifi going to sleep in about every 20 min on standby mode.
so flashed another and another GB rom. same problem..
its working fine froyo and ics rom.
can anybody tell any solution to that..
thanks in advance
it's not a problem. if you red something about that then you would know that is one of good solutions for battery saving (; after 20 minutes in sleep mode wifi loses connection but when you wake the phone up then wifi connects again

Never had this issue, once connected remains connected. Only experience it while i left wifi range and came back to wifi range it doesnt connect back.
So i go into wifi and it automatically connects to wifi.

Just as the topic says, is the glonass in the rom? in the kernel? or in the baseband? I have no idea and I'd actually would like to have this feature considering that it's possible for our phone- it was brought to us with .42 update... I'm just not sure wheter it's working with custom roms and kernels
To anyone which was curious about the same, I tried to investigate my problem and I did successfully. App called "GPS test" is able to distinguish glonass from GPS and it did, even on custom rom and kernel, so I reckon that glonass is actually in baseband which makes sense.

Is there a spacific use for glonnass or is just like gps
Sent from my Droid using xda app-developers app
It's just like GPS but it's Russian. More satellites you use for locating you, more accurate location is and faster it locates you.

Ohh I see thanks for the clarification

What I'm looking for is the latest xperia play game launcher. It was probably introduced in ICS beta Rom for our xperia. It was floating somewhere on the board and I can't find it anymore.
I need it for GB rom.
