Try using smartass V2.. It offers the best of both the world!
I use Scary governer for saving battery. It is basicly modified conservative.
Ok for gaming I will use performance
N normal smartass
Battery saving scary
What about scheduler?
SIO ofcourse is the best IO sheduler out there....

No device is made equal, what may work great for someone else might not work for you. Its best to just try going up step by step

how do I change the governor from Ondemand to SmartassV2?
among the options Performance / Processor / CPU Governor there are only: Ondemand and Interactive Performance
thanks
You would have to replace the kernel with one that has the smartassv2 governor.

In theory yes. But you will sacrifice gaming fps.
Lupus kernel takes time to boot
I'm using Neo V with cm10 and Lupus480p kernel, but this Lupus logo which appears during boot takes like forever before the cyanogenmod animation starts, any way to improve the boot time? If not which is the best kernel to go with my configuration.
My stuff
min= 0.1ghz - Standby clocks to lowest saving alot of battery!
max= 1.2ghz - little tiny bump for gaming as my rom can already handle most games i play
govenor= inteldemand2
schedular= row

Usually I use max 1,6 Ghz with performance governor and sio i/o, this always runs the CPU @ 1,6. Drains battery fast, but great gaming...

I personally recommend SIO governor, it's good enough for me or maybe if you're on CM10.1 you could try the FIOPS or BFS governor to from Hurtsky 3.4.xx version one. Cause it could even handle switching from whatsapp and light games to.
Could try which one suit you better..
