I'm running AOKP b36 and I installed the "Mixer - CM9 & AOKP Theme" https://play.google.com/store/apps/...sMSwxLDEsImNvbS5tcmRzbC50aGVtZS5taXhlcmljcyJd
I really like the theme and everything but there's that one thing... THE KEYBOARD!!
It doesn't look good at all!!
So since i liked the keyboard from the Foxhound rom i took the LatinIME.apk form the foxhound rom and put it into /system/app.
But it didn't change anything at all.... but when i change to the normal theme (system) it uses the foxhound keyboard...
So my question is: How can i change the keyboard of the theme???

Hi,
I'm running Black Ice - and the ROM itself is good, but I'm not a huge fan of the skin. The lockscreen is very dark and the symbols have changed, and also the statusbar has different icons which I'm not that keen on.
How can I restore the default cyanogenmod theme, is there a flashable zip that removes all of the custom skins?
Thanks
You should just switch back to cyanogen. Devs take a base and add a theme to it because they are targeting a specific look. If its not for you then switch to something else. If there are other themes available for a Rom they will be posted in op or someone in thread will post a working one. I don't think they are interested in going for the cyanogen look since cyanogen already has the vanilla look down.
I know the black ice devs don't want the vanilla look, and I'm ok with that. But you can skin roms in different ways, so surely one is the default cyanogenmod look?
The thread mentions copying systemui.apk and framework-res.apk but I'm not having any luck.
And blackice has some great tweaks, which is why I'm using it
Black ice is derived from cyanogen so you should be able to extract those two files from framework in cyanogen and push them to your phone and then reboot. What problems are you experiencing while trying this? You could try using the kitchen to swap the files.
This is the MMS.apk from AOKP B40 that i modified to replace the smiley with the Enter key, which many people miss. It should work in all roms, but backup before you install. Install via CWM. Also made some other cosmetic changes, like holo blue icons.
As is please do not ask for any other changes.
Hi. I'm getting a force close on this one. I've flashed it on a 4.0.4 stock rom.
Whoaa... it works for my aokp wildlife s

I have a question..
I have yesterday installed custom rom for the first time..It was CyanogenMod 7.2.0 Official Nightly..
Only problem I could find is that i have no choice in keyboard layout..on a 2.8" display, qwerty keyboard is really to small, and there is no 4x3 keyboard to choose..
I tried to put original stock LG keyboard app, AIME.apk, and installed it, but it constantly gives me FC..So i guess that doesnt work..
Is there a flashable zip of stock keyboard app, like there is for LG P500
I know there are alternatives, but i don't want to install app for that..
Thank you..So my main question is, why in CyanogenMod 7.2.0 Official Nightly I can't choose 4x3 keyboard, and where to find it..
Anyone?
No. You must use download an app for that.
Ok, but why you can't choose 4x3 keyboard in cm 7.2?
Why did they remove that?
So, that stock keyboard mod for p500 won't work on p350?
Go Keyboard has that layout, I believe... You can check that out... My personal choice? A swipe keyboard, SlideIT, Swype, Kii...

Hi, I love Cyanogenmod 10.1 by Maclaw, but I want 4x3 keyboard instead of latinIME.. I DO NOT want to install other keyboards apk, I really want a zip file that contains a 4x3 keyboard like the stock GIO keyboard.. So there is any way to mod latinIME adding 4x3 layout ou a way to install stock GIO keyboard to CYANOGENMOD 10.1 ? Please help me! If it's possible do that on a flashable zip file or if it's not possible, simply send me a keyboard that has 4x3 layout and can be on system. :good:
There is some way to download only the stock keyboard that comes with this rom?
I Want it so bad.
I already tested it for 2 weeks and it is great but now i'm running a touchwiz ver. and i'd like the Stock keyboard that comes with carbon rom
I'm almost sure that Carbon keyboard not working on TW. Different frameworks if i remember right.
Powered by CM11 M11 snapshot
you know if the opposite is the same? Because i tried to install a TW keyboard replacing the app in /app and it didn't work
@Seikushim If you want the latin ime keyboard like on carbon rom you can try this lightweight app+lib combo.
Attached zip down below. Not meant for flashing. Extract and put apk in system/app and .so file in system/lib. Give proper permissions and reboot. Good luck.
