There's already a thread in android apps and games for that request. theo0s, who modificated youtube with 720p, is working on it.

Search the market for pvstar. you won't be disappointed. You'll never need the YouTube apk again

No offense but that's off topic. This is about using YouTube while the screen is off.. we desire the YouTube app.

No offense taken. Good luck finding one. In the meantime...try the app

So bascially an Android version of fraps.
Would be interesting to see one. But wouldn't it slow the phone to a crawl? Fraps does that even on a decent PC.
Maybe, but it would be good for educational purposes, like tutorials n stuff.

Including the app and posting a free Apk are different...people used to include gapps, WiFi tether in their roms or set CPU or other apps but they violated gpl or something...but yes we can post the Skype Apk.

If you are looking for a tool to download YT videos, try TubeMate - it's free and works pretty well: http://m.tubemate.net/
It's also available in a paid version on the amazon app store

Hi all, not all roms have the dlna app installed. To search for nearby devices you need it.
Is the app online somewhere?

You should try the Vplayer app.. Its a paid app but works without any problems !!!
iMediaShare is THE best app hands down. You can send photos, music and videos from your phone anyway plus you can play videos from a variety of sources such as YouTube, Engadget, Facebook and many more.
Works perfectly for me EVERY time with my UE55D7000

Hi,
I used a rom and i forgotten which one that had this. IT was a special version of youtube that allowed you to save videos and play them on your phone. Anyone know what this app is called? Also if you can provide the link for this apk. Thanks
Ya actually I am looking for that as well.
