I for one am a Sense fan. I love the way it looks. I am also an ICS fan. This is a problem since the Sense 4.0 roms aren't stable enough for my liking (at least not yet, god bless the devs), and there's yet to be a Sense 3.6 rom that works well enough to be a daily driver.
I'm currently working on (as well as a bunch of other stuff) a Sense 3.6-themed ROM based on aeroevan's CM9. I don't see it being done for a while, but the launcher (modified/themed Trebuchet) is about as nice as it'll get (for now), so I decided to share it!
Here's a screenshot (icons aside from the "All apps" icon aren't part of the launcher, but the rom previously mentioned):

How to install!
DO NOT INSTALL IT LIKE A REGULAR APP. I haven't tried it but it probably won't work. I've only tested this on CM9 on the Dinc2, but in theory it should work on any ICS rom for any phone (might look weird in anything other resolution, but it should work). To install it, simply put the .apk file in "/system/app". Don't forget to make a backup just in case
Credits
CyanogenMOD team - for making CM9, duh
aeroevan - for bringing CM9 to out humble little device, and providing Trebuchet for me to edit
Giving this a try, been using a heavy themed Xperia launcher sense 4.0.
I'll try to install it as a app through my incredible 1.
It works, I had to copy it into system. I do like it more then the original launcher. The Xperia is still more themed. So ima keep an eye on this, great job so far.

first off, wrong section
second, its all on you. you dont need to download themes to tweak the ui. cm6.1 has customization built in. the first snapshot of my home screen is just cm 6.1.1 w/ beautiful widgets added and is probably my favorite setup i've had, but the second has some negative adw launcher theme with built in support to cm 6.1 that i use to have
there is a lot you can do to customize your phone but it is super easy just to apply a theme to the launcher

Adding to the first reply, you can't get new icons and stuff without editing or replacing your framework-res.apk in /system/framework. If you want a full on theme with buttons and icons and all that jazz, download one of miguel's theme ports, extract framework-res.apk from /system/framework, and then adb push it to /system/framework in your phone, and viola, themed.
Look at what I did. Everything I use is free.
ADW Launcher
BattStatt Widget
Ramdroid Widget
ADW Ubuntu Theme
SetCPU (free from XDA Forums)
Mario LWP
It looks too bright and washed out but on the screen it looks perfect.
Hey all.
I'm still on LeeDrOiD 3.3.3 which, in my book, is pretty darn perfect in every way. No bugs, no hangups and no FCs...
BUT I SO LOVE MIUI's freedom and design
I saw these pictures in a locksreen theme thread about Miui and wanted to know if there is any way to get the same thing on my Leephone?
What I'm talking about is the green "charging" line from the first and second screens. Is that a live wallpaper, widget or what is it? Can it be used on my Lee either as a lockscreen or as a widget on homescreen?

I'd like to get that charge status bar mod incorporated into sense ROMs, eye candy much, though I'd hate to tap, hold & slide the finger to another part of the screen just to unlock the phone.
Yeah. I don't want the slidelock, just the chargethingie.
It's MIUI, you can get the Sense lockscreen with the chargerbar if you want to, but you'll have to join us MIUIans! Come to the good side, we have lockscreens!

I would never betray my sweet Lee... but it's sooo perrrtttyyyy... NO! My precious... Dammit! Noooo. *walks towards miuiandroid.com*
Hahaha Come to meee! COME! Lee is LAME you hear me! LAME!
Backup your Leedroid, flash MIUI, use it the next 53 years, and if you still want to go back to Mr. Lee, then just restore.
Btw, IF you don't like the MIUI launcher, remember that you can use LauncherPro or another launcher. You will still be able to use all the MIUI features.
Edit: I recommend you use the Freshly Squeezed MIUI (check my sig). It's tweaked a little bit, and you'll get the TalonAce kernel which is working very well.
First and foremost, I would like to thank team Sourcery for giving us the best ROM on the planet!!! It was a pleasure to lay a theme down on this!!!
Extra thanks goes out to Eagle, Atreyu381, TDev, and xKape for answering a million and one questions!
Install instructions:
1 - Flash the best ROM ever!
2 - MAKE A BACKUP, MAKE A BACKUP, MAKE A BACKUP!
3 - Go into settings, then Sourcery tools
4 - Under the Device Manager tab, choose Theme Manager
5 - Download, and install!
Hex codes for lockscreen, batterybar, softkeys, etc...
Dark = #ffa52a00
Light = #fff8df00
Also, I made a SuperClock Skin for Beautiful Widgets to match, it's titled BlazingMajikTwo
Since Apex launcher doesn't play too well with themes, you can have a themed version by uninstalling updates in App Manager after flashing. I'm working on the new version, don't know when it will be finished! Im sure in the near future they will change things to be more theme friendly, until then I'm working on a Go Launcher theme to match for you Go users. And possibly an ADW theme, if time allows!
All feedback, positive or negative, is welcomed and encouraged. I will work as fast as I can to make suggested changes!

Thank you, sir
This reminds me of Fallout. Very unique, nice job.
Thanks, you guys should really coonsider switching to Sourcery ROM, you wont be disappointed and you probably wont turn back!
I've been tinkering around making my own roms for awhile now. I just stated back because I was bored and felt like doing something. I am not a dev , by any means, so I am not making a public thread because I simply do not know how to implement bug fixes when I need them. With that being said, I've slimmed down the MA6 rom to my liking and would like help on making a few final adjustments. The rom is as follows.
*Stock, deodexed, rooted(SuperSU) MA6
*No touchwiz launcher(Touchwiz parts still very much in there just not the launcher)
*Stock Nexus 4.2 launcher
*Removed alot of stuff I didn't want or need(file still pretty big, hoping you guys can help with that)
*Not many bugs(At least from what I'm seeing)
Problems with rom
*On first boot, messaging app in default launcher points to nowhere(You have to delete shortcut and re-add messaging)
*Launcher seems to redraw(correct term?) sometimes.( Icons big sometimes, sometimes not)
*Other stuff I hadn't tested
I have provided a link to my dropbox if anyone is brave enough to help me test/fix this thing. It will be greatly appreciated.
Also will post two screenshots.
Rom Link is here Light_Jelly_0.9

I would like to thank all of you in advance for your help/time/consideration. :good:
You're off to a good start. Don't worry so much about the bugs yet. We have a great community here at XDA and people will reach out and help. I'd recommend moving this to the development section so it gets the exposure to other developers.
This is how all of us developers get started. Welcome
Thanks for the advice. Will post over there now.
MotoBlur Theme 1. Credits
The whole Motorola Blur interface has most of the AOSP looks. So, with his permission I have used the JB Domination Theme mainly. Without Vertumus's JB Domination theme, this would be Impossible for me to even come up with this idea. (Thanks to Vertumus and all others who have helped him make that beautiful theme).
Secondly, I want to thank ThilinaC for an awesome dialer that i have used for this theme.
Finally, I want to thank ksr007 for teaching me stuffs on using VRT.
Basically, all of my work was to replace many pngs, remove some, add some.
(Practically, this is NOT my work at all.)
2. About
I prepared this because one of my favorite interfaces apart from TouchWiz and AOSP is MotoBlur. Have been loving it since i first saw and was crazy about Atrix 2 quite some time back. After Motorola STOPPED it's sales and services in Asia, I wasn't able to get a Moto phone. LOL. So, I am forced to make my S III look like a Moto Droid device.
3. What is Themed?
Again, I say - This is most of stock android looks. I did not do most of it.
-Most of SystemUI.
-Dialer (Look alike of Dialer from Elegant theme )
-Statusbar
-Most of the icons.
-Settings
-Camera (AOSP look from theme by Vertumus)
Right now, it almost looks like Moto Blur. Will be updating more after my exams.
