As it is based on CM7, I'd reckon it's based on Android 2.3.x

is based on latest rc .2 cm7 aka android 2.3.7

Ro: Suporta teme?

Do we need to flash gb gapps with this?
Sent from my GT-I9000 using xda premium

So far so good. Flashed it one hour ago, the system is smooth, autorotate sometimes works, no FC in Camera.. Let's see how the battery life is.
EDIT: Can't access to external SD.

Sorry for the double post, it's also to up a little the thread.
Would it be possible to also port this iPhone theme please?

Youtube on HTC Tilt 2 is already installed.

My first post on xda.
Tools > File Explorer > Windows > YouTube (444K sized file will do just fine)
Copy the file and paste shortcut in Start Menu> Programs
The next step is very important.
Goto:Settings >Connections>Connections>Advanced Tab: Select Network button: Change bottom drop down to Media Net. Both drop downs should be Media Net.
Thats it.

Hi,
I did as you stated but my YouTube program does not launch from within the start menu, it just stays highlighted when I click on it.
I did a soft reset and nothing changed.
It works if I go to Tools > File Explorer > Windows > YouTube 444K and click on the file.
Any one else had this problem and know how to fix it ?
Thanks
It works for me, but it take forever to connect and sometimes just end up ERROR can not play. I spend more time watching the 'connecting' on the screen than the video I want to watch.
The only YouTube file that works for my Tilt2 was downloaded from google mobile- by using the MS IE, not Opera. The only issue (minor) i get is when i select a video file- it will go into landscape opposite the native landscape of the Tilt2. not a biggie. However, it works fine when using ''changescreen" app (enabled).

i am having the same issue. it highlights but doesnt activate the program.
if you go to the exe file in fileexplorer and then press and hold the exe file, a screen will popup with the options to "send shortcut to programs" hope this helps
I feel pretty silly...
I was able to find the YouTube files on my phone. I copied them over to "Program Files" (which, as I've read here, isn't the way to go about it) So I deleted the files I copied over to there. Problem is, it deleted both the "copies" and the original files :/
How can I retrieve the Tilt 2's version of the YouTube application without completely wiping out my phone?
Thanks for any and all help.
no sound on youtube app
I was able to copy the shortcut over and when I double click on it the client works but there is no sound. What gives?
How do u copy and paste it to the start menu? I hit copy, but when I tap the start menu to open up the menu so I can paste it, it wont let me.

You don't paste it to the menu directly, you have to paste it in /Windows/start menu/programs directory on your phone
Youtube app in start menu
i had the same problem puttin the Youtube app that comes with the Tilt 2 on the start menu and actually getting it to work, but after a whole day of messin with the settings, i finally got it on the start menu, and workin!
first what i did was
opened the file explorer<windows
from here you will sort by name so it appears from a to z(only if u need to because mine showed from z to a)
then you will scroll down to the Youtube folder, click and hold down to copy.
after you copy it you will paste it under the program files (my device<program files)
after that you will need to copy the actuall app and add it to the start menu.
the app will be found under the my device<windows: scroll very closely to the bottom of the list to find the app, click on the one that says 25b. click and hold on it then copy it and paste it under the start menu folder at the top of the windows<programs.
now when you click your start menu there should be the youtube app and should work. i have only tested it under my wifi settings at the house but it should work on 3g.
GOOD LUCK TO EVERYONE!
and if you want to rearrange the start menu, i recommened downloading the JWMD-Icon-Changer at:
pocketpc-freeware.net/jwmd-icon-changer-get-12511.html
i downloaded it fomr my pc and sync my phone to my pc after saving the app and draggin and droppin it into my phones file explorer and then installed it from there.
we already had it on the stock rom? I downloaded it from google mobile with google maps :X...anyways, no probs with the way I did it...idk
thanx vic1307, your method worked perfectly!

Any reason we don't cut and Paste, instead of copying...doubling the file?
You can't "paste" into the start menu folder....you can't paste into any folder that is already full, because there is no empty space that you can place your cursor on and hold to get menu to pop up.
If you try it ends up clicking on an item in the folder, because there are no empty spots to click on in the folder..
This is one thing that really annoys me with wm6.5....thank the idiot that designed this feature.
ok, I just cut everything out of the start up menu file, and pasted the youtube file into the blank folder, then pasted everything else back into the start up menu.
annoying, but affective. Deleted Google's youtube. Like the stock look one much better. ;D
Post #8!!! That is your answer!!!! Do NOT COPY the exe file to the start menu!! Either copy the YouTube.lnk file to the start menu, or send the exe file to the start menu as a short cut. Also, if you are using the native file explorer, then you may not see the .lnk or .exe file extensions to know the difference.
You should see the files in this order:
*at$t rom*
YouTube.exe (with YT icon) 458k
YouTube.exe.0409 (windows icon) 10.9k
YouTube.lnk (YT icon) 25b <-- file size should be another clue it is just a short cut.
You want a copy of the .lnk file in the start menu.
There are two YouTube apps, one is an HTC app that is hidden on the phone, the other is Google's and it has to be downloaded. I like the HTC app better myself btw.

[TUTORIAL] Sense 3.0 lockscreen from HTC Salsa

Hi,
Krakatoa, a Spanish member/dev, cooked a custom ROM for the Wildfire S which included the Sense 3.0 Lockscreen from the HTC Salsa.
For the people who wish this new lockscreen (with the silver ring to slide up), but don't want to flash a new rom, I made this little tutorial. I guess Krakatoa used the same method in his ROM.
IMPORTANT: Your Wildfire S needs to be rooted (and thus, S-OFF)!!
1) Download the attachment and copy it to your SDcard (from your phone offcourse...)
2) Download ES File Explorer from the market (free), open it and go into Settings, then tap "Root Options".
3) Check the "Root Explorer" box, tap "Yes" on the popup and accept the Superuser prompt.
4) Check the "Mount File System" box, and exit the Settings.
5) Navigate to /system/app (you may need to tap the SD card symbol on the top left to switch between internal memory and SD).
6) Tap and hold on "HtcLockScreen.apk" and rename it to "HtcLockScreen2.1.apk".
Do the same for HtcLockScreen.odex --> HtcLockScreen2.1.odex
7) Tap on the House icon at the top left to switch back to your SDcard and press+hold the downloaded HTCLockscreen.apk and choose "copy"
8) Tap the SD icon at the top left to switch back to the internal memory and navigate back to system/app/
9) In the system/app/ directory, tap the "arrow up icon" at the bottom and tap your HTCLockscreen.apk. This will paste the file into the system/app/ directory
10) Go back into Settings > Root options and uncheck both boxes.
11) Exit, reboot and enjoy your Sense 3.0!
PS: if you just rename the files and not copy the new file, you will get the standard Android lockscreen back.
I tested this and it works 100% (including new message widget) on stock European ROM with root access.

[Q] CM 10 stock file manager problem

Hi,
I have installed successfully CM10 alpha7 on my I-8150. I have a strange problem, however. using the built-in File Manager (even in root mode), when I try to move a file, it replies that "Operation not permitted in the current folder". That situation is the same for a wide number of files and directories that I have tested.
Select the file/s that you want to move/copy. The navigate to the destination folder. Tap over 8-dots icons and select paste selection or move selection.
You can not move the file over the same folder.

That is OK now  I was used to the PC way of life, so I was convinced that one should select first the file, then "Copy/Move" and finally navigate to the destination folder. Thank you, jruesga

[Statusbar] Change the icons and background of your statusbar for all android devices

FOR ALL ANDROID DEVICES
Note: Take a complete nandroid backup before doing this, though there is no threat. It is still compulsory to take nandroid backup!!!
Follow the steps carefully, they are very easy:
1) Download NinjaMorph from GooglePlay, https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=stericson.ninjamorph.free
2) Open it, you need root of course. Click on New Project.
3) Now browse down to system, and choose it, then choose app folder.
4) A long list will appear. Search SystemUI.apk and choose it. The app will extract the apk. Stop!!!! Don't go any further.
5) Join your mobile to pc and allow USB storage.
6) Go to your Mobile's sd on the pc and find a folder named android themes, open it. Then open a folder named workspace, then SystemUI and then res.
7)Now open a folder named drawable-Idpi in which you will find many files.
8) now we start changing!
9)You should set your windows to show the folder in tiles. So now you will see the quickpanel icons like bluetooth and wifi with names like quickpanel_icon_bluetooth_on etc.
10)Find a desired icon and change it with, but remember the new icon should be of the same pixels and should also have exactly same name as the old one, EXACTLY SAME!!!!!
11) Do not only change the icons which represent a function is on like bluetooth on but also change its off icon like quickpanel_icon_bluetooth_off. REMEMBER IT SHOULD BE THE NAME AS THE OLD ICON'S NAME!!!!
12) Now find icon named statusbar_background.9 and change it with your desired background. Do the same with title_bar_portrait.9. Remember the new icon should be of the same pixels and should also have exactly same name as the old one, EXACTLY SAME!!!!!
Now disconnect usb storage, go to NinjaMorph again but this time choose Finish Project, choose SystemUIapk and click yes on all that pops up.
Now your status bar will disappear but don't worry just reboot. REMEMBER ALL NEW ICONS SHOULD BE THE NAME AND SIZE AS THE OLD ICONS!!!!
IF YOU MADE ANY MISTAKE IN THE STEPS AND YOUR STATUS BAR IS RUINED THEN EITHER EDIT IT AGAIN CORRECTLY OR DO A NANDROID RESTORE.

8.1 update and Ringtones

Prior to the 8.1 update, I was able to download a whole song from my drive, then long press on the file, press on the tp right three blue buttons, select "Move to", which I was then able to select Pixel 2, which would then take me to a handful of file folders (included Alarms, Ringtones, Data, etc.). I would select the Ringtone folder. I would then exit and open my ringtones and the full song would be listed.
Now with the 8.1 update. The Pixel 2 option no longer is listed when trying to move or copy the song...what gives?!
Anyone know of another way, without having to download an app or connecting to a computer?

Thanks, I figured it out...the following are steps I took to add a full song/s to ringtones:
1. Download mp3 file (song/recording) to your Pixel 2 XL
2. Open the Downloads app and verify that your file downloaded and can be played
3. Once you verify file downloaded and is playable, exit the file, taking you back to the Downloads list page
4. Tap at the top right 3 white bullet points and the following pop up should display:
New window
New Folder
Select all
Show internal storage
5. Tap on Show internal storage, which will then cause the popup to dissapear
6. Now long press the file, which will cause the file to be highlighted, marked as 1 selected, and giving you the option on the top right corner
to Share (icon), Trash (icon), and now 3 black bullet points,
7. Tap on the black bullet points, the following pop up should appear:
Open with
Select all
Copy to...
Move to...
Compress
Rename
8. You now can choose to either Copy to... or Move to... I chose "Copy to" (not sure if it makes a difference in storage space if either Copy to
or Move to is chosen). Pop up will disappear, but now the option to CANCEL or COPY (highlighted) will pop up at the bottom right.
9. Do NOT press COPY yet. Instead, top left corner press the 3 horizontal white lines, following pop up should appear:
Downloads
Pixel 2 XL
Drive (I have two of these because both personal and work are linked to my phone)
10. Tap Pixel 2 XL
11. Now Pixel 2 XL Files/Folders (Alarms, Android, data, DCIM, etc.) should be on the screen (the CANCEL or COPY options should continue to
be visible at the bottom right)
12. Choose Ringtones, and do not be surprised that when selected this folder is empty, it just is...unless you downloaded ringtones prior to
the update, maybe
13. NOW press the highlighted COPY, this will then take you back to Downloads screen, which you may close at this time
14. At this time tap on your Phone icon in order to make a call
15. Top right corner you should see 3 dark bullet points, tap on those points, and select Settings from the 3 options that it gives you
16. In Settings, select Sounds and vibration
17. Under Sounds and vibrations, select Phone ringtone
18. Now your whole list of Phone ringtones is displayed allowing you the option of selecting ringtones, which should now include the one
you just added, following the steps provided. Select your ringtone and press SAVE
19. You are done!
Again, probably too many steps...but it did what I needed it to do. Now I have a full song as a ringtone. You could do the same for alarms, but don't. Alarms actually allows you to add a new alarm by scrolling up and pressing tapping + Add new option in your clock app, when choosing sound. Don't understand why they don't have this simple option in Ringtones!
I haven't tried it with an entire song, but I just edit a song file to make a ringtone or notification, and move it to the sdcard > media > ringtone or notification folder, then reboot and all my newly added files are available for selection.
More specifically:
Once your file is in the download folder, long press > select copy (two pieces of paper on top of each other at top of screen) > hit back button > navigate to the ringtone or notification folder in sdcard > Media, then hit the clipboard / copy here icon

Copy to makes a duplicate. So you now have the file in downloads and ringtones folders. I would do move. I thought you listed too many steps at first but you literally went through every tap needed. LOL.
I figured that if anyone out there was like me, every single tap would be appreciated. Lol!

Plug phone into laptop
Pull down notification area and change USB to transfer files
Open file manager on computer and copy MP3 FIle
Paste MP3 File into Phone Notification/Ringtone folder
File should be immediately available for using as ringtone/notification.
