i bought the 2100mah extended with cover for my verizon gnexus but the last 2 cases i bought on ebay didn't fit. ive heard the otterbox commuter fits pretty well with this battery. can anyone confirm or recommend a decent case that doesn't add a ton of bulk?
Best fit for me has been my diztronic tpu case, but it's a bit bulky and I don't like cutouts. I bought an ebay bumper but it's loose and creaky. My favorite has been the sgp neo hybrid even though the fit isn't 100% perfect.

I'm wondering what case people are using with extended batteries. My buddy bought this battery. It is working well for him, so I was going to order one. However I need to have a case that is going to protect my Evo. I'm currently using the Otterbox Commuter and would prefer one that offers similar protection. Any help is appreciated.
I don't use a case. I just use the screen protector. Granted, I don't have any kids around, so it's just more taking care not to drop it on concrete or something.
I just ordered the Trident Electra case which comes with a 2800 mAh battery:

Seidio also has cases for the extended battery:

If you do a quick search on eBay and Amazon, there's also a few silicone and TPU cases out there too.
Hope this helps!
Search for "case" in reviews.

I second the trident case. great case. Comes with a hard protective shell that has a built in screen protector and a rubber bumper in a variety of colors.
any thin case reccommendations?
seidio case
Seidio cases are the best.
Would you guys recommend the seidio extended case and battery over the Trident extended case and battery?
And why?
Edit: NM, I'll figure it out

I prefer the trident case over seidio for the simple reason that seidio, customer support stinks.
The moretalktime.com website has a tpu case that works with a 3500mA battery

Any case fits i9250 with extend battery cover?
Honestly you'll be hard pressed to find a case that DOESN'T fit the i9250 with the extended cover. Some might fit better than others but they'll all work. Verizon users aren't as lucky.
There are a lot of cases that fit the GSM Nexus. For example, Pop case, commuter, silicrylic, trident aegis, etc.

The Otterbox Defender fits.
Does the bumper case work?

All the otterbox cases fit, you might have trouble with the hard cases that are about 5-10 bucks, but if its silicon you should have no problems. I have not at least.
the aluminium bumper fits any battery door
Cases
Most of the cheap TPU cases on ebay are flexible enough to fit the extended battery. All you have to lose is a $2 to $3.

Guys, Im looking for a case like the Rearth RingKe slim case but with a clip on section (like seidio's).
The cases that seidio and otterbox make are just too thick. I do want the belt clip part though.
Edit: Im looking at the Seidio Surface Combo.. If you guys know of any alternatives, let me know.
I have the ringke slim and it works perfectly with the belt holster from the kickstand case from vz. Have been using the combo for a month or so with no issues. I also use the oem extended battery and it has been my perfect setup.
Hope that helps.

The only thing that worries me about the ringke one is all the reports of the paint chipping or peeling after a couple of months..
Using the ringke white case with the seido 2100 extended battery clip works pretty good together
I ended up getting the Seidio surface case and holster, but I really wanted the Ringke SLIM for the case.
What Im not liking about the Ringke is the reports that they crack and the paint starts to peel off.
I have a Trident Cyclops and it is just too bulky
I have one off of ebay it was like $10 it protects well and fits the OEM extended battery http://www.ebay.com/itm/Laza-HTC-Th...t=LH_DefaultDomain_0&var=&hash=item43ab091826
Any tpu style case works great. They slim, have decent protection & cheap.

+1 for TPU - $3 example:

I personally have the Seido Active case and I love it. They even make an option for the extended battery.

i agree. Way to bulky!
I have a Galaxy S3 (i747) with the new Samsung branded 3000 mAh battery, but I need a case. The Otterboxes do not fit, and IDK if the Incipio will (I had incipio before my old GS3 was lost). Which cases will definitely fit this new size?
Seidio Active
By leaving the back cover off the phone this one will fit. It has a hard plastic outer shield for the back so it offers plenty of protection. Works for me until a made to order case comes out. I had the kickstand model first. I think it sucks. Would not hold the phone vertical, was ugly and it bulged too much. That be my opinion.
nothing else?
i have the same problem.. someone solved it?
are not there any case for the original 3000 battery ?
Diztronics makes cases specifically for this battery.

Unfotunatly to italy is not possible to recive from their store
thanks for the info ill' call my london friend.
I have this battery + the Diztronic. The case fits perfectly and is very well done. It is available via Amazon or through the Diztronic site.
There is a long thread about this battery here but you have to go through the entire thread to find the cases that work. Mentioned as cases that fit: the Zoogue Social, the Eclipse, the Case-Mate Emerge Smooth, the Urban Armor Gear case (if you do not use the included battery door), and the "fake Spigen Neo Hybrids" from sunsky. Others have modded the Otterbox Commuter and the Invero Hard Plastic Bumper case (from amazon UK).
I have ordered some cheapo silicon cases that I hope are stretchy enough to work with the extended battery as I would like some more colorful options.
Anyone know which case this is?
