Just got an ARC today and want to know how I can root the phone but I wish for it to be UK generic and not global like in the tutorials. Is it possible?
im also confused,,i came from uk generic and guides provide me a generic world would that cause any conflict?when ill be flashing it back to generic world 181?

I know there would be no issues with global but I would prefer to have it as UK since when upates come I would have the correct basebands and so on? Or is arc updates different to x10?

hey guys, I put the generic version of N. A. firmware on my play (r800a-fw) but to be honest i kinda like the stock att firmware more (i know-i'm crazy). I was sure i would like the generic i did not back up my original firmware. So does anyone have or know where i can get the stock at&t 2.3.3 firmware - OR ANY R800AT FIRMWARE VERSION??????

I really need everyone's help, I did update my xperia arc s to ics, except that my smartphone was full of problems so I need a lot of his original rom. I'm from Brazil, I need rom lt18a 4.0.1.a.0.266 Brazil. Please help me, I'm desperate, I can not stand the lags and bugs from my mobile

EDIT: Solved the problem with an ICS LT15a Baseband. Works great with my carrier (Claro).
