[Q] Battery percentage in rempuzzle rom - Wildfire Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I was wondering that if I could have battery percentage on my status bar with Rempuzzle rom?
I have seen it with some sense themes but the download links to those themes seem to be dead.

You can make your own at uot.dakra.lt.
That's what I use on non-CM7 ROMs.

1. If you know ROM building use the UOT kitchen
2. If you don't then take the Jokerdroid rom extract it and copy the framework-res.apk from \system\framework to your rom using es explorer or root explorer and restart. This ROM uses battery percentage.
hope it helps

There are some awsome themes on the link below Thanks to Sonnysekhon thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=854907
I myself am running the new Gingerbread theme with CM6.1.1 from this thread and it looks amazing. To install just download the zip file from the thread above, install to the root of your SD card, make a back up of your current rom in case you dont like the theme, use rom manager to boot into recovery, install themed zip from sd card, no wipes needed and then reboot, and enjoy.
Please note: The themes have been updataed to run with CM 6.1.1
Can you give me the link for gingerbread theme??
Thanks I thought it was like this but wasn't sure!

About an hour ago, i used uot kitchen to customize my status bar.The zip was made but when i try to flash it via recovery it will say something about systemuis and force close. Now,the statusbar wont work... Can someone help me please?
Restore a backup if you made one, if not hahahaha unlucky.........
Lol only joking just flash your rom again without wiping, that should replace the files you modded with uot.

Hi, i think the difference between a Odexed and Deodexed ROMs is that the Odexed ROMs you cannot use themes our customize your ROM, but have a Optimized Dex, and the Deodexed ROMs you can customize the ROM as use themes, etc but doesn't have a Optimized Dex.
I think it have more differences, if someone could add more differences...
Is there any link ? ? ?

Hi, for you have a deodexed rom you have to flash a customized rom, search in "Galaxy W I8150 Android Development" section here in xda developers, you have there several different roms.

For official Stock ROM, in /system/app and /system/framework, the apps consists of two parts: .apk and .odex. .odex helps to increase the loading speed of apps as part of the app is stored in .odex file and it will be preloaded in memory. Technically, original ROM with odex files will be faster than deodexed ROM.
Besides, it also makes hacking those applications difficult because a part of the coding has already been extracted to another location before execution.
This is why applying theme in odex ROM is not very possible.
If u want to deodex ur ROM, u can try xultimate. Search it in our forum.
Extended Power Menu
Excellent job yewsiong!
Do you no how I could only install the "Extended Power Menu" in the stock rom?
I thought about flashing a custom rom which already has it, but I really like the stock one I'm using and it would be awesome if we could have the "Extended Power Menu" since I'm always running nandroid backups...
Thanks in advance!!!

LOL, since stock rom has not been deodexed, it is difficult to edit framework-res.apk and framework-res.dex. It is beyond my knowledge at this moment.
Nice1 bro. I very happy. .
Good job man.
Just wondering. why does the flashlight last 2 seconds only ah?

It is due to the java coding for 14 toggles. Its creator lidroid hasn't fixed it yet. I will update it once it fixed.
hi, can i use this mod on the xlma8 or not?

changing stock rom?

I just re-flashed stock rom. I was running modpunk's ics rom for marvelc, but since he does not update it anymore, i decided i should switch to stock until i find a better ROM. Does anyone know how i can change the status bar on the stock rom? i do not want to flash hensemod, or any other rom because i do not like the ring on the new sense. So if someone could help me to either figure out how to flash hensemod and change the lockscreen, or change the status bar on the stock rom, help would be greatly appreciated

The problem with that would be....I am using a MarvelC device. There is no marvelc support on that ROM sadly :/
You can give it a good run through the uot kitchen. I've made many modifications like that.

Extract the htclockscreen.apk and htclockscreen.odex from a ROM that has the lock screen you like, then flash hensemod and replace those two files using a root file explorer
