I am looking for a successor to my Desire Z and as manufacturers do not release any new devices with a hard keyboard I am trying to find a solution to have a hard keyboard. I'd like to have an SGS 3 with keyboard. I had found this keyboard case for the Galaxy Note at Brando http:// shop.brando.com/samsung-galaxy-note-reclosable-fastener-case-with-bluetooth-keyboard_p7254c299d57.html. I have asked if they planned to release the same kind for the SGS 3 but it's not in their plans for the moment.
Are you aware of similar products or do you have any idea on how I could build my own slide-out keyboard on the phone or attached to an appropriate case ?
For the 2nd solution I would need to find a closing cover with right dimensions (needs to allow to be closed while phone and device are both inside; the case should be not too loose, I mean if I'm typing from the keyboard not laying on a desk I should be able to have a right angle to view the screen and the phone should stay firmly in place....) and I could attach the keyboard with a scratch.

You really are going to be left behind if you expect high end hardware to have physical keyboards. The whole platform is moving away from physical buttons, best learn to adapt now, many people have wondered why Samsung gave the S3 a physical home button since the GNex went without.

I love the home button, so glad S III has it. Love the tactile FEEL of it. Wish it had camera button too.
I have a Droid. I love its keyboard. I'd buy a keyboard case (like OP posted for Note above) if someone made it for S III.
Although the screen is big it makes on screen keys ok but I would still buy a keyboard case for S III. If someone makes one. There is a thread on this at AndroidCentral IIRC as well...will find a link later if I remember..

This would probably be the best option TBH. I'm not a huge fan of a physical keyboard myself, but I see a lot of people not making the switch from RIM because of the lack of great Android hardware with this (primitive?) feature. I agree with the above poster in regards to the fact that the industry is moving away from physical buttons, in general. Even RIM tried multiple times to "dip their fingers" into touchscreen technology (see BlackBerry Storm or BlackBerry Torch) but (IMO) could not sell enough units to justify abandoning what has been successful for them for nearly the past decade. Of course manufacturers are seeing sales explode as they are producing thinner and thinner phones, simply because phones that have slim, aesthetically-pleasing design profiles are much more desirable for a multitude of reasons. I'm afraid to say that until a manufacturer can produce a device that is competitively thin and light I don't see physical keyboards remaining relevant for much longer.
However, to more directly address the topic of this thread, I don't think that any other "keyboard cases" will be seen for this phone, so you should probably try and request that the company in the quoted post create one. For one, as hinted to above, most people purchasing this device see its sleek profile as a major perk. Many people across multiple forums are discussing which cases are best and are looking for the following desirable attributes: thin with a lot of protection. Some will sacrifice their "1mm or less" requirement for a case that will survive a fall from a pocket or backpack, and these people (sometimes begrudgingly) purchase popular high-protection cases such as the Otterbox Commuter/Defender or Trident Aegis/Kraken. I believe that this is the only reason people would be willing to purchase thicker cases for this phone (or at least enough people for these companies to justify making cases that are purposely thicker). Additionally, these people are paying a premium because the manufacturing costs for making these thicker cases are certainly higher. If just having thicker, more protective materials are driving the costs of these cases above ~$25, how much would you assume the Bluetooth keyboard cases would cost? BoxWave charges $79.99 for their iPhone 4S version at the time of this post - a pretty hefty amount in a market where people are looking to eBay to purchase cases for under $10. It just doesn't make sense economically for companies to produce cases like this.
One might argue this point by using the existence of the BoxWave iPhone 4S model as proof that enough people will buy an expensive, thick case to make it happen for our comparatively slim phone. However, this defense would ignore the main reason why a physical keyboard is more (read: slightly) in demand for Apple's flagship device. When comparing the ease of typing on the iPhone 4S, which has a 3.5 inch screen, to that of the Galaxy S3, which has a 4.8 inch screen, their is no comparison. The larger screen real estate of our phone is vastly superior mainly due to the fact that the key size can be quite a bit larger. Also, one should consider the fact that Android keyboards can be changed quite readily and are becoming much easier to customize. It appears that anyone can find a keyboard that works for them, no matter their virtual typing style. Therefore, I don't imagine the demand being even close to similar.
That is just my two cents. I will request the case for you, but I honestly don't think that it will come to fruition for the aforementioned reasons. People are not looking for heavy, sturdy handsets anymore - they try to keep it simple and light. Keep in mind that Samsung was able to sell 10 million units in record time and the build quality does not even resemble that of stuggling manufacturers like HTC and Motorola.

Requested 1 myself. I've always missed the keyboard that my G1 had. Since the GS3 is fairly large, wonder if a track pad could be added onto the far right of the keyboard. I miss a trackpad/roller ball to move the cursor around for editing or whatnot.

He means even thought the S3 is actually pretty cheaply made (goddamn **** plastic like always), it sells like cocaine to a homeless drug addict. Even though Motorola, and HTC make far superior handsets build wise (trust me, I had the One X, best phone I've owned by far), they can't compete with Samsung.
Nowadays, thinner and lighter is better, and therefore buying a big, bulky keyboard case is silly if you think about it for such a thin and light device.

A co-worker of mine has the Keyboard Buddy for his iPhone 4, and it's actually pretty nice. He said it takes a little getting used to, but once you have it, you can't go without it. The physical keyboard makes typing way easier, and if you're used to sending all emails/messages directly from your phone (i.e. crackberry users), then this is a must have if you have an iPhone 4.
Sorry, I got off on a little tangent talking about the keyboard case for iPhone 4, but I was just trying to illustrate how useful a keyboard case could be for the S3. So maybe for the casual everyday user, it's not as crucial. But if you're a more heavy duty/business type user, a decent keyboard case could make all the difference.

yes most people won't want one, sure. Some people DO want a real keyboard and are willing and ready to pay. I'd pay GOOD money for one. I hope this Buddy Case company makes one. Since S III is such a hugely popular phone. I think they'd for sure make a profit if they were to make Buddy Case for S III. Again...people looking to buy this have tried touchscreen keyboards and already decided they'd prefer a keyboard case. It's settled. We are not changing our mind. I have SwiftKey. Yes it's ok. But I'd prefer a good keyboard case.

As for the "thinner" excuse, the Nokia E7 was right in the ballpark at 13.6mm (say compared to the HTC EVO at it's 13mm, or the iPhone 3GS at 12.3mm but 4.3mm thicker than the iPhone4) too bad it just had a 600MHz CPU and Symbian.
I just had to chime in. We all know that those who prefer form over function (thinner vs keyboard) are the majority, but that doesn't mean we all like hearing those of us who prefer a physical keyboard are relics and need to "adapt/evolve" with the times or "deal with it."

This is just a little research into the market for a new Desire (and other Android phones) accessory I hope to make and sell.
Similar to the TK-421 keyboard case for the iPhone, its pretty much for anyone with a keyboardless phone looking for a more tactile typing experience. I will aim to simplify the hinge more compared to the TK-421, making it more sturdy and have less chance of problems. If you read up some reviews on it, you'll notice the swivel hinge is held together by 1 thin pin and users have a constant feeling that it will break.
I wouldn't have an idea on how to go about making a sturdy sliding mechanism as an alternative (hey, even the phone manufacturers haven't got it right yet!) or even a slider at all.So instead, I've decided to go with a simple flipping hinge for the time being. I can think of a few problems with this already. Just can't win, but I'll work something out.
It's early idea stages so far, but I just want to get a feel for people's opinions, since it's definitely a 2 sided discussion. Some prefer keeping their device thin and sleek, while others love their device apart from the fact that there's no physical keyboard and would not hesitate to sacrifice the thinness.
Keeping in mind, this WILL add a significant thickness to your phone.
An 11mm thick phone + 1mm thick case + ~9mm thick keyboard = behemoth
Imagine a Nokia N900 or Touch Pro 2 (comparable to a bricks), but slightly thicker. The upside however, is that you're not stuck withthe bulkiness all the time.
In other words, switch between brick and slick, whenever you want
In addition: if this project goes through and is mildly successful, I may release a "Gamepad Addon", making gaming more enjoyable for us with keyboard-less phones. In fact, I might first release it specifically targeting gamers depending on the respsonse... Pushing the brainstorm aside, I just want to hear what everyone thinks!

This isn't all just written ideas by the way. I've been testing different things with my Nexus One and the specific keyboard I'll be using for a few weeks now.
NOTE: I've posted this in the Desire section simply because it's the best fitted phone for this accessory. It's the same size as the keyboard (all 3.7 inch screen phones are also), the trackpad does not protrude much and therefore won't interfere with the mechanism. This pretty much leaves the Desire and Droid Incredible, but there seems to be a bigger Desire community...so here goes!
I wouldn't mind the accessory, but the price shouldn't be prohibitive. Another question will be how would you connect to the Desire? Bluetooth?
Yep, Bluetooth is the only option.
Unfortunately USB Host isn't available on the Desire and other androids without an external power source and lots of fiddling.
This means if you wanted this accessory you'd need to either be running CM6, or have some third party software (BlueInput/BlueKeyboard JP). If I had programming experience I'd develop the drivers myself, sadly this is not the case!
As for price, I am thinking US $30-$40. There are a couple of iPhone cases soon to be released in the $70-80 price range which I think is a little steep.
Personally, $40 would be the borderline price if I were to buy something like this, so hopefully it'll be a little less than that.
What about the positioning? Will it be like the iPhone version and be placed on the back? Battery life? Will the gaming addon cost more?

Two things I'm not very happy about are weight (unavoidable, I guess) and, mostly, that there is no way to use it with the tab in portrait mode. Oh, and I think it is a tad too expensive.
I would have bought the Logitech, if only I could. For the portrait mode. But I don't at all regret having bought the Samsung.

thanks for your reply mate, really appreciate it. yeh its a tad expensive isnt it, thats why I wanted some opinions before buying it. I never use my tablets in potrait mode, unless I am reading a comic which is very rare. the 10.1 just looks silly in potrait if you ask me lol
Also, I usually prefer to have it on my lap rather than on desks, does the stand sit stable on laps? because the stand kinda looks weak and unstable. I know it'll be fine on desks and tables but does it slide around when in your lap?

It is sort of possible to forget about the stand and leave the tablet flat. Requires one hand to hold it or it will hit the floor in no time. Not practical at all.
After I bought the Samsung case, I saw a Logitech look-alike on Amazon UK. I wouldn't really risk buying one now because: 1) I already own a very nice keyboard case, and 2) the only sellers offering it have appalingly low ratings. Still, if it works as advertised and one could find a reputable source...

hey thanks for the link bro. I've owned similar cases for other tablets before and I really dont like the rubber keyboards on them.
oh and I went ahead and bought the samsung keyboard dock instead of the keyboard case. the dock is great. since it has got the 30 pin connector, the tab slots right in and you dont have to worry about it falling. and most importantly the dock sits stable on my lap and I can type just like a normal laptop. it doesnt move around. I really like it

I have the Zagg case and it is pretty great. I also have the Samsung white keyboard which is almost perfect except that it will revert to the Samsung on screen keyboard after using it . This is a pain since I use touchpal.
The new OEM keyboard case looks handsome but not as useful as Zagg.

Yes, it can. There's four little rubber stops that keep the keys off the screen when closed that double as feet when fold the keyboard under the way you described. And while yes, it's pricey, it's the slimmest, best fitting, and best made of the keyboard cases out there.
I purchased the official case cover a few days ago from Samsung. I am shocked about how few reviews there have been online. I could not find a decent video review. I am hoping that the build quality is decent, as my Zagg keyboard (Zaggfolio) broke - the space bar no longer works. I will probably take the replacement keyboard they sent me and sell it on ebay.
By the way, I saved 15% by using the coupon code: Samsung#1 on the Samsung.com website and got free next day air shipping.

Pro's
Very light, form fitting, well designed. Easy to type on.
Con's
No touchpad, no sd port, no built in battery, pretty expensive, cannot really use effectively in the portrait mode.
Overall, this is clearly superior to the Zaggfolio. .. but pales in comparison to the Asus Transformer keyboard (which is the same MSRP).

Just got this case today and I must say I am completely happy with this purchase.
It literally turns your tablet into a laptop.
Duqjag complains about not having a touch pad however the entire screen is a touch pad which would make a little square panel obsolete and difficult to use.
My only quarms with this keyboard is the left shift key being so small that you'll find yourself with a lot of \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\ on your screen when trying to capitalize a letter.
Also if there were a way to make certain trigger keys customizable this would enhance the experence too. e.g. the mail button opens the mail app as opposed to the google mail app. Internet button opens the stock browser as opposed to Opera or dolphin.
It stands up on almost every surface without issue and if you fold the keyboard over it also acts as a bottom panel to keep the screen in a face up position.
Vertically it doesnt work but do laptops????
Fork out the cash I say and enjoy the ride. As tablets get better internally, 10.1 will still be a dimension samsung keeps using so i can confidentally say that this case will be transferable to newer models.

I've got the Samsung BT-Keyboard-Case here in Germany for a really affordable price - 57,- €, and it is worth every cent. The look and feel of the case is noble, but durable, and when I carry it arround here at my college the I-Thing-users get possessive.
It has a built-in recharable battery which lasts for some 3 days. I use it flipped over as a night stand at my bed, listening to Tune-in radio, I work with it every day, and the cover protects the case perfectly.
The only con is that it doubles the weight of the pure tab, but I really can say that I am happy with it and would always buy it again.
I am looking for keyboard as well, want something nice, shineny neath, but inexpensive. (Not sure it does exist )

I like the size of my Nexus One, and I am not fond of these huge Android phones, because I carry it in my front pants pocket.
I've heard that the S III is somewhat fragile and breaks easily. Is there any truth to this?

Well the only flaw i see is on stock touchwiz that battery can randomly plumet and leave u with a 4 to 6 hour battery life instead of 12 to 16 hours that i normally get with about 3h screen on time ^^ but if you are going with cm the u don't have to worry other than that you get used to the size and i can't really say there has been a flaw with mine i have dropped it only twice but it wasn't that hard of a drop so i can't tell you how durable it is. One of thing i disliked was the button placement of the power and volume rocker it's pretty hard not to accidentally hit volume up or down while locking and unlocking the phone but as time goes you grow a accustomed to it. And then i learned that all Samsung devices pretty much have the same button placement even old dumb phones have it like that.

Can you explain how the S2 is better than the S3??
The thin profile makes it a lot easier to carry in your pocket than you might think.
From everything I've see, do NOT break your screen it's not a pleasant replacement on these phones.
I came from a HTC Sensation and I'm a little blown away at how snappy the phone is. The only minor gripe I have is I don't particularly like pentile matrix screens but of those, the high resolution of the SGS3 makes up for it a little.
Otherwise, it's a great phone. Styling is subjective, but the curved edges make the phone feel smaller in your hand. Another observation was that for me it was so thin and slippery I was worried about dropping it. Ended up putting a skinomi skin on the battery cover and it works well for me.
The only reason I could see for not upgrading from the nexus to the s3 is possibly waiting another 4-5 months to get the s4 whenever it is released, but that might not be until next summer for all anybody knows. IMO the only phone equal to the s3 is the note2, but since you said you don't like big phones the note is definitely not a good choice.
No negatives. Best phone ever. Especially with all the great devs here. Buy it. U won't regret it.
This phone is fantastic. I came from an original Galaxy S so I had to get used to an "actual" button for home, but it didn't take long.
I would seriously suggest ev1lart's Wicked rom series tho. Stupid long battery life and ridiculous community support.
There are a hundred "toughness tests" out there with various results. I would just be careful regardless. It's a $500 phone! Regardless of what you pay for it, something of value should merit some caution I would hope. Regardless, I put a simple Diztronic case on it and it's survived every 2 to 4 foot drop it's had. The case also improves the grip, as it's pretty slick and thin to begin with.

If you carry your phone in the pocket... why don't you use belt loop case? I have never dropped out scratched my phone using that. S3 is a big phone, way too big for any pocket.

I use relaxed fit jeans and they fit completely fine in my pockets and my biggest phone was a Dell steak and every phone feels smaller so to me, the s3 is not that big. To me of course. To others, well they device

Mine fits fine in PJ pants, athletic shorts, jean shorts, casual work pants, and suit pants. I'm 6'1" but I don't think that'd make my pockets substantially bigger.. I don't have my phone in a case though, just a sunglass bag.
as the title says, anyone with a Note II thinking about ditching it for a One? don't get me wrong, i love my N2, but it's something about it that i don't like. maybe its the size, and coming from a G2, the plastic annoys me also. I'm just not sure if I want to give up the screen real estate, and the powerful battery.
On the other hand, the one is GORGEOUS, the camera is better, and i dont mind giving up the LED display for a 468(?)ppi display. Plus, i prefer Sense over any other version of android. its much more polished.
any thoughts?

I just sold my Sprint Note 2 for $550, with the HTC One in mind. I figured I'll sell now while the phone could feach a pretty penny.
I too love the N2 but its size does somewhat get annoying. I figured I could try the HTC One and if I don't like it I could resell that and by then the GS4 will be announced.
Its basically a never ending cycle of phone for me.

I'll be selling mine as well. I'm not a huge HTC or Sense fan, but this phone is too sexy to pass up.
I'm thinking about it. I am expecting the screen on the One to be the best you can find on the market judging by the HTC One X's Super LCD 2 is the best that I have used so far. So I am likely to switch over, the only thing that's making it difficult is a great battery and I actually enjoy the screen size.

The WORST part of the Note 2 was that it would take 2 seconds to turn on the screen... I couldn't stand it after 2 weeks and gave it to him.

- They are heavy productivity users and get a lot of use out of S Pen, S Note, multiview, airview, etc.
- They want the 5.5" display to try and have a single device double as a phone and a tablet.
Since OP didn't mention either of those two things he probably should have gotten a high-end smartphone and not have had to deal with the N2's enormous size. The N2 was never meant to compete with the likes of the SGS3, One X, and Optimus G and neither the One nor SGS4 will have the productivity features of the N2 so they aren't real competitors either. A lot of people bought the N2 only because it was "shiny and new" rather than for what it could do. They are the ones that create threads like this. So, OP, get the One as it’s probably a lot more suited to your needs than the N2 ever would be.
As for "plastic." Samsung's devices are as well built and durable as HTC's. To allow for the removable battery a lot of people still consider important they have paper thin plastic back covers that peel off to allow access to the battery. It's a design choice to accommodate function. The design's been that way since the SGS2 came out. With ten times more SGS3's sold than One X's (an admittedly more handsome device) the public would seem to be OK with it. And the N2's internals are made of magnesium (item 3 below) which is an expensive (but light) alloy to work with.

yeah, i didn't get it for the TW features. after a few weeks i put paranoid on it. but i did get it to double as a phone and tablet. if i do get the one, i'll have to get used to a normal sized phone not running phablet mode. but i didn't get it because it's "shiny and new". like i said , i needed something that doubles as a phone and tablet. but on a day to day thing, it gets uncomfortable sometimes.
but samsung devices are not as durable as most HTC phones, plastic just can't stand up to metal/aluminum. imo, the galaxy s iii outsold the one x because it was on 5 different carriers (and of course samsungs amazing marketing). the one x being exclusively on AT&T is the reason i didn't get it. & it doesn't too much matter what the inside of your phone is made of when you drop it and the cheap material on the outside can't protect the phone from damage.

Based on what? There were as many One X/L/+'s with displays cracked from drops as there were SGS3's and N2's. HTC had tons of issues with the Teg3 One X including public acknowledgment that the design caused Wi-Fi issues on some devices because of tolerances not met in the production process. And most of HTC's recent phones have been plastic too. Here's what happens to the matte finish on the One X(s) and DNA/Butterfly when exposed to any kind of abrasion. So I totally get that people like HTC's designs better (I do too) but that doesn't make them more durable.
And here's what happens to aluminum-backed devices with wear.

HTC took the best deal they could get. I'm sure if VZW and T-Mobile (Sprint did sort of) wanted to sell the One X they wouldn't have ended up in an AT&T exclusive. The One X was a beautiful device with a fantastic display cursed with an undersized battery and laughable storage on the XL and adequate storage on the One X. HTC's 2012 with the One's was their worst in history in terms of revenue, margin, and market share and that takes in to account worldwide sales not just what happened here in the U.S. I'm sure that wasn't what they were planning on when the One's were in R&D. Any how or why Samsung outsells them is less important than the fact HTC will be out of business soon if they don't come up with a formula to drastically improve sales. Let’s hope the One is a step in that direction.

A uni-body design (One X/One) can't distribute impact as well as a modular design. You'll see the battery cover fly off a Samsung device in most drop tests. That's a by-product of the energy of the impact being dissapated. Here's a N2 that survived a drop from 5'.
And here's a Samsung device being torture tested.
I was a very happy Teg3 One X owner and wouldn't hesitate to buy another HTC device if it met my needs. I'm using an N2 now and happy with it too but that doesn't mean I've suddenly become a Samsung fan-boy. Every device and the manufacturers that build them have strengths and weaknesses and it's not blasphemy to talk about them.

Well, I just bought myself a Note 2 and love it wouldn't ditch it for a htc one!

I must say they are pretty different!
Note 2 is a 5.5'' while One is 4.7'' so it's a big difference in screen size
Note 2 is all plastic a la samsung meaning c.r.a.p. while the One is premium aluminum body
So if you don't like huge screen smartphones but prefer a 1080p delicious screen with Terminator build phone switch the damn phone
Seeing that this phone was not intended to go up against htc one, it sure is holding it own. Most post I reading only problem with the note is the material it made from. I say isn't this the reason we have insurance and for all those that are prone to dropping their phone..get a good case. Why do I need a phone that is waterproof? How many times are you going to drop it into the toilet? I got my note because I want phone and tablet and the note has lived up to that. I like the spec's of the one and if I was to cross over it would be because I want a new toy. Not because of some lame excuse the phone is aluminum.

Driving a BMW 7 series with full option is the same as driving a kia picanto?
All the luxury and refined material make the BMW make you love to use it,the One is the same, just feel the aluminum body in your hand and the playschool samsung in the other and you will understand
I'm thinking about switching to the one it has great spec but not sure about the battery life. Note 2 has awesome battery life lasts.

I love the size of the note 2. I've always been partial to htc. I've had the opportunity to play with them side by side and I will have to adjust to a smaller screen. Yes, 4.7 is quite small after using the note 2.

Like I said this argument would be valid if we were comparing to same things. I would argue about beats headphones vs Boise. I wouldn't argue a BMW (luxury car) vs an economy car. The consumer is buying for different reasons. BMW consumers has money and therefore it looks and feel pretty is okay. Economy consumers are on a budget therefore the question for them is can it get me from point a to point b.

Wow. I've been using HyperDroid ROMs on my Note2 and I'm very happy to see you here!
And to the topic: my feelings with Note2 are absolutely same as OP. I hate the plastic and I never use s-pen. Its going to be my first HTC Android phone (had Titan 'bout year ago).
I'm seriously considering it, as much as I love the note 2 it feels too big in my hands. The One has a beautiful design, great screen, high ppi and those dual speakers are all things that attract me to it. But I'm waiting for the SGS4 reveal and user experience before making any decisions, I want to know how good the battery life is and if the gpu throttling is going to ruin the gaming experience on the device. If the phone holds up and the rumored specs of the SGS4 turns out to be true, I'm more than likely getting the One in black. But I will miss the expandable memory and amazing battery life of the Note though. Only time will tell
I did a foolish, foolish thing... I promised my Mom that there were cases that would hold/keep a stylus for the new Samsung S5. I've seen many for iPhone & ASSUMED that a new flagship phone would offer similar. (yes, I know, but I was desperate to talk her out of the Note and didn't have a better idea) I have seen vids where tablet case backs are sliced carefully, and hard plastic tabs inserted into the edge of the case, with different accessories glued to the plastic tabs, quite ingenious....but how in H*ll does that help me on a PHONE case? She wants the case to hold/store the stylus. Did I mention that the standard stylus tip is too large also?? :eye rolling:
I managed to explain about the different types of screens, so she understands why a Samsung stylus only works on the Note, but she is very disappointed. To be fair, at 69 she has picked up the basics of Android in just a few months experience with a basic tablet and is kicking butt thus far with her S5. Her previous phone was a BlackBerry she had for TEN YEARS before the battery died, so I knew I had to get her the best equipment possible, VZ's BOGO on S5s came with 2 free Galaxy 7.7 tablets, all for $250, which seemed the best deal. Besides, it meant we would have the EXACT SAME phone, so her incessant questions would be easier to handle, plus a 3G tablet for vacation use as a navigation system (astounding how excited she was over that lol)
I'm new to Samsung, so I'm asking for advice, please don't make me beg! (before now, I stayed with Motorola & LG devices) I need cases & screen protector for all 4 devices, two S5's and two 7.7 tablets. I've had good luck with Zagg. I'm tough on cases tho, broke 2 Otterboxes lol. ANY and ALL ideas/suggestions happily accepted! I am quite handy, so mods are easily doable, I can sew, solder & rebuild engines!
