[Q] No HD apps for kindle? - Kindle Fire Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I recently flash Hashcode's ICS on my Kindle and as I was going through the market, I would assume that we'd be able to download HD version of apps like Cut the Rope and such, but we can't. Is there any specific reason as to why we cannot do that?

I'm getting HD games like angry birds space hd on gedeRom. Just not cut the rope HD.

Has anyone got Zynga’s new game Horn to work on the Kindle Fire?

Hey guys I am just trying to see if anyone in the Kindle Fire community has gotten Horn to run and play yet, if you have please let me know your setup? What ROM are you using etc ? I cleared out the 2 gigs required to install the game and installed straight from Google Play Store but with no success. The game says its installs just fine and tries to boot up to a black screen then kicks me out and quits running. I would appreciate any help or tips u can send my way...Thanks in advance

I was going to try it out but yeesh, 7 bucks and 1.8gb?! I don't think I even have that much free space.
Yea I wouldn't recommend jumping in and giving it a try until I can get it running. I already knew it was a pretty good game because I had been playing it on iOS before it launched on Android. I have been checking everyday for an update but so far nothing to speak of. I will update this post if I can ever get it to run. I wouldn't hold my breath however.

Streaming TV App for Sports

Hi All,
Is there a live streaming TV app for sports that runs on KF on Jelly Bean? Please let me know.
regards,
Nandi
I installed flash player, i backed it up off my phone with ICS, and use x-scope browser and go to firstrowsports.eu, atdhenet.tv, and vipbox.tv. You have to deal with adds, but it is not too bad. Firefox works with flash using Jelly Bean too, but it seemed to crash while using flash. Good luck.

sport stream
I use firefox with ad blocker for those ad based streaming sites. Works like a charm on my note 2

Make apps think I'm not using a kindle fire

I have a rooted kindle fire running cm10. Is there any way I can play fun run multiplayer race without it giving me a incompatibility message when I start the app?

This is the link to twa_priv's ROM CM10/SGT7 which contains a link below all the ROM releases that will modify your build.prop to disguise the Kindle as a Galaxy Nexus....it might help

There is also a certain build.prop that makes apps think you're on a certain LG phone, which is better for games because you get the right screen resolution

Games compatibility

Has anybody gotten the games that are designed for the kindle fire to work with this Note? I installed Wild Blood from the Play store and in the menu I can't read anything at all. I was thinking about trying the version designed for the kindle fire.
I downloaded Wild Blood too for my P600 graphics looked very poor and menus unreadable. There's a growing list of games that don't work (San Andreas etc) and its disappointing.
